Counter Attack Chapter 99

Wu felt as if he fell into a cramped, cold, endless cave, he couldn't move a single muscle in his body, more ice is forming around him, it's getting colder. His chest is highly pressurized, he couldn't breathe normally, it's getting stuffier, his vision is getting blurry every now and then. Suddenly, he heard footsteps coming towards him, his hands are grabbing onto the ground, he had lost his support.

When Chi rushed to his side, Wu's neck has been bitten by the python's huge jaws, he has fallen into a coma state. Because of his love for the snakes, he never trims their teeth, even if they're venomous. This python's teeth are like razor blades, they're stuck in Wu's flesh, it will definitely form bloody wounds effortlessly. 

'Yellow Dragon, let go now.'

Chi grabbed onto the python's abdomen, his low voice kept giving commands to the snake, trying to control it.

Unluckily, the snake hasn't been spending much time with Chi recently, his command doesn't work on it anymore. Plus, it has been staying in a gruesome environment for a long period of time, its temper is fiery and it attacks everything in its sight.

Wu gurgled a mouthful of bloody mucus.

Chi's chest felt like it was ripping apart.

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Chi's hands fixated on the part below the snake's jaws, forcing it to open up its jaws so to let Wu escape. Generally, when a python received an attack it will divert its target to another prey, in this case, onto Chi. But now it only wants Wu, no matter how much Chi is agitating it, it will only tighten its grip on Wu.

Shuai ran over and saw the situation, he was about to dash forward.

Not sure where did Guo pop out from, he pulled Shuai forcefully into his arms.

'Don't go, it's too dangerous.'

Shuai shrieked insanely.

'You guys are all cowards, if I don't go over there now, Wu will lose his life!'

Guo's expression darkened and his tone became stern.

'It's also useless if you go there! This is not a playing matter!'

Shuai was struggling, Guo tightened his grip on him.

Chi is clenching his grip on the snake's neck, the other hand is gripping on the abdomen, he is trying to pry the python off Wu. But it has fixed its target, its ability to wrap around someone is beyond imagination, even with such strong arms of Chi, it didn't even budge.

At this moment, suddenly he felt ever so regretful in training it to be so strong.

Shuai screamed at Chi with his red eyes.

'If you don't kill it now, Wu is going to fucking die!'

After saying that, not sure who kicked a dagger to Chi's side.

7 years have passed, they met in the jungle for the first time, its gaze is still as sharp as before. That time Shuo really liked to hang it around his neck, then he went overseas, the snake was left on Chi's neck, and it hasn't left him since.

Seconds have passed, Wu suddenly opened his eyes.

Guo witnessed the slaughter from a distance away, his gaze changed.

Chi carried Wu bridal style and ran towards the car beside the road, Guo opened his car beforehand, 'Get in this car, I'll drive.'

Shuai squeezed into the car too.

Wu's expression looked as pale as death, blood smeared all over his neck area. He has suffocated for too long, his respiratory organs are damaged. His chest is purple, some blood would occasionally be expelled out from his mouth, he is losing his consciousness.

Chi hugged Wu into his arms, helping him to clear away the blood in his mouth. Shuai tore some fabric from his clothes, placing it on top of Wu's neck to help stop excess blood loss.

Wu's eyelids are droopy, his breathing is getting weaker, his vitals are deteriorating.

Chi looked rather calm and fearless, there is not a hint of fear in his face, looks like it hasn't reached the stage where he will be freaking out. But Shuai could feel that his hands are shaking, trembling uncontrollably, it's getting worse when Wu's gaze is losing color.

'Da Bao, wake up, don't fall asleep.'

'Babe, be good, wait for a while, we're arriving the hospital soon.'

'Wei Wei, open your eyes, look at me, Wei Wei...'

Chi is trying to keep Wu conscious by calling his name repeatedly, he didn't want Wu to fall into a coma. Shuai is also rubbing Wu's hand, chanting his name over and over again, you could feel his fear and anxiousness from his voice.

Guo peered into the rear mirror, blurted out mindlessly, 'I see he's meeting his ends soon.'

'That's fast!' He exclaimed.

The phone in his hand is from the two guys that planned to kill Jealous two days ago. The SIM card is temporary, there's only a number saved inside there. When it rings, it must be from that person.

'Hey, what are you two trying to do?' A woman voice came from the other side, 'I've been trying to contact you guys yesterday, now you then picked up my calls, what have you two been doing?'

Gang remained silence.

'Is the job done yet? Speak!'

Gang spoke, 'It's done.'

'Fetch it over quickly, I need to see it for myself, I can rest assured that way.'

After putting down her phone, Yue Yue sensed something is wrong, but she couldn't point out exactly what.

40 minutes later, someone knocked on the door, Yue Yue asked cautiously, 'Who is it?'

'I'm here for the money,' Gang said.

Yue Yue had the money in her hands, she slowly moved towards the door.

'Did you bring it?'

Gang replied, 'Yes.'

Yue Yue cracked open her door and left a small opening, she looked down at the ground, but she didn't see any box; she looked up, there isn't anything in his hands; lastly she looked into his face, she froze.

Gang smiled, his tone is rather friendly.

'Yue Yue, sorry to make you pay.'
