Counter Attack Chapter 102

A gold card popped out in Yue Yue's wallet out of nowhere, she is the card holder, the PIN number for the card was on the paper that came with the card. For the whole afternoon, Yue Yue has been blanking out in front of this card.

The story goes like this: Yue Yue went to find Gang in the afternoon, she wanted him to convince Chi to meet her. But Gang rejected politely, he also hinted that there were no chances of them getting back together, telling her to give up.

The conversation didn't end well, so Gang drove and left.

When she got back home, she saw this card.

Is this Chi's idea? She doesn't know, but the person who originally had this card was Chi.

Every woman has different reactions when they got a card, most of them would feel surprised, I could spend all of his money without hesitation, what a wonderful and proud thing is it. Some of them might feel uncomfortable, thinking that a supplementary card means that you're somehow being controlled by him, it makes you feel that you're not independent enough.

But to Yue Yue, she doesn't care about all those feelings, what she has gotten, it's merely a breakup fee.

Should I return it back arrogantly? Throw the card to him, I don't need your money!

It's really exciting just by thinking about it, but Yue Yue couldn't do it.

Since we're breaking up anyway, whether or not I spend this sum, why not spend it?

Plus she has given all of her emotions into this relationship, after suffering so much, I don't just want to spend this money, I need to spend it rationally! But wanting to let her get lost by just a card is impossible! The next day, Yue Yue threw away all her gloominess and went shopping with her girl friends.

She went straight to shops that sell branded goods, sweeping the shops clean, the card was constantly being swiped, even her friends are drooling at the sight of the card.

When they stepped into the mall, Gang's eyes scanned everywhere.

'What do you think of this scarf? I think it suits Dou's skin color,' Jia said.

Gang replied absent mindedly, 'Not bad.'

Jia noticed that Gang was totally out of the situation, his gaze is floating everywhere, so out of curiosity, she followed the direction of where he's looking and spotted something.

Yue Yue is in the ascending elevator, her hands are full of bags, she seems to be having fun with the person beside her.

'Gang, help me take a look at the kids, I'm going somewhere for a while.'

 Then, Jia is lost in the crowd.

Yue Yue was happily chatting with her friend, she didn't realize that Jia was right behind her, Jia was eyeing at the bags in her hand, every single one of it is branded and all of them costs at least a 6 figures price. If it Yu didn't compliment Yue Yue in front of Jia every time, Jia won't even care about how Yue Yue spend her money.

Didn't she say that her salary is lesser than $5000 a month, she even needs to save up for a month to buy a scarf for her future mother-in-law? Didn't she say that she doesn't buy branded goods, the things that she wears don't even add up to $1000? Didn't she say that ever since she broke up, she's so devastated that she refused to see anyone except for Yu?

Now, who is this materialistic girl who is all dolled up in all branded clothes?

Jia is an easy-going person, she doesn't really pick up a fight with someone easily, but once she does, the person is going to die pretty badly.

'Gang, walk around, help me to check all her purchases, the most important thing is the card that she's holding onto, I need to see where did she find all those money.'

The afternoon before Jia left the country, Jia threw a pile of receipts in front of Yu.

'Take a look for yourself.'

Yu took the receipts and went through them one by one, even she was stunned.

'You went out and spent so much money?'

Yu squinted her eyes and took a closer look at the receipts, she looked at the card holder's signature, it is actually Yue Yue.

'This...where did you get these from?'

'This is the daughter-in-law who you think is so thrifty and diligent, she spent a total of $236k in a single afternoon! Do you whose card did she use? Wipe your glasses clean and take a good look! It's your son's card! She has already broken up with Chi, now she even dared to spent his money so thoughtlessly, what do you think happened when they're still together? If we really did let her into our house, within 2 years, all of our money will be emptied out by her!'

Yu keep shuffling the receipts in her hands, she still couldn't believe that Yue Yue did all these.

'That scarf, you don't even bear to wear it, believing when someone said that she saved up for a month to buy that scarf. Mom! She hasn't been working for a few months, where is her wage? She swiped your son's card to buy that scarf for you! You actually believed her bullshit! If she didn't buy a bag, she can buy you 10 of those scarves!'

Yu was so infuriated that she couldn't even say anything, her lips are trembling in anger.

'I haven't met someone who is so shameless!'

The next day, Jia has left, Yu didn't even get the chance to call Yue Yue, she is already in front of the door.

The door opened, the same innocent and simple dressing, her expression was rather pale, she seems to be in a terribly bad shape.

'Auntie, I came again. I was so bored at home, you won't think I'm too clingy, will you?'

If it was in the past, Yu would cup Yue Yue's small face and said gently, 'What's wrong? Tell me all about it.'

Streams of tears flowing down her cheeks, 'Auntie, what exactly did I do wrong?'

Yu wasn't tough enough, seeing Yue Yue crying her heart softened a little.

'Since we know each other, I'll give you some advice: As a woman, don't be lazy, don't be thirsty, you'll regret one day.'

The door closed right in front of Yue Yue's face, her dreams have also cut off the second the door closes.

This is the only trade which Wu has done that has made him lose a lot of money, the money in the card was his, although he did terminate the card in time, he already lost that much. But Wu wasn't really upset about that sum of money, he considered that money was meant to compensate Yue Yue for her loss in the relationship. It wasn't exactly guilt, he just wanted to spend some money to buy some peace for the future, in case karma gets him later on. 

Yue Yue and Chi has completely separated their ways.

After hearing this news,  Wu couldn't really be happy about it. He has been waiting for this day to come, he feels so exciting thinking about it, but now it really came, he couldn't really feel happy about it. The plan has successfully completed, his purpose has been achieved, should he back up now?

Now he thinks of this, Wu suddenly felt ever so lost and empty.

Now he is also afraid that Shuai would come up to him one day, reminding him smilingly, 'Hey! Our mission accomplished! Let's get lost now!'

How can I walk away now?

As he was thinking about a plan, Chi walked in, two nurses followed behind him.

Wu's bulging huge eyes almost fell out of their sockets, the bed sheets have been scrunched into a flower.

'Relax,' Chi said.

In fact, he's more nervous that Wu.

After 2 minutes, an earth shattering scream rang from the ward.

Wu was all curled up like a shrimp on the bed, he thought to himself: My dick is in pain, my balls are in pain too, I can't even control my pee and shit, I'll just think of a plan when I recover.
