Counter Attack Chapter 141

After a torturing toilet break, Wu walked out of the toilet looking as if he has been liberated.  Tao was still waiting for him beside the sinks, after seeing Wu walking out of the cubicle, he lifted his chin and said, 'Let's go!'

Fuck, I'm giving you a ride and you're showing me your attitude, are you serious right now?

If it wasn't because of the agreement just now, Wu would rather die than offering such guy a lift.

Just as the two walked towards the car, Tao smelled something ambiguous, he immediately raised his alertness and scanned his surroundings, a man from a distance caught his eyes, what's coincidental is that the man is staring at his calves.

Tao suddenly realized that there's a short piece of hospital gown revealing underneath the jacket, he quickly opened the car door and stepped in, then yelled at Wu, 'Quickly drive!'

'What's the hurry?' Wu still taking his time.

Tao kept looking back, he looks really anxious, he had placed almost all of his hopes on Wu's steering wheel.

'Quick, quick, there's someone after me.'

Wu was much calmer than him, he quickly started the engine, he even scoffed, 'Are you filming a drama?'

Tao didn't reply, he just stared furiously into the rear mirror.

The man who stared at Tao was Wang, he can almost recognize him out, but Tao has already escaped in Wu's car. Wang immediately notified his friends and they've started a hunt for this car.

Wu has never thought that he still has the chance to be able to drift on the road at this year of age.

'Turn to the right!' Tao instructed.

After Wu drove into the right junction, Tao actually got mad, 'Didn't I told you to turn right? Why did you turn left?'

'Bro, that's your right.'

Tao annoyingly rubbed his temples, 'Sorry, my mistake.'

There's an upcoming vehicle in front, Wu quickly turned his wheel and they barely escaped from an accident. Then Wu turned in to a street, then he started to drive around aimlessly in there.

Wang soon caught up too, because of the narrow street and his huge car, he may not be able to drive as smoothly as Wu did. Just as he was almost losing his mind, he received a call from one of his friends.

'Wang, why do I think that's Chi's car? Did you make a mistake?'

Wang blanked out for a while, he almost ran into a dumpster.

'Of course not, I'm sure about it! I can still recognize him even if he becomes ashes! Did you follow the wrong car?'

'No! Xiao Zhou and I have been eyeing on that car all the time, how can we be wrong?'

Wang then said, 'Read me the plate.'

Then they read the car plate twice.

Wang felt unbelievable, that is Chi's car, and Wu was the one who has been driving it. Could it be that the bastard contacted Wu, so to get closer to Shuai?

At the thought of it, Wang hurriedly dialled Guo's number, he must report such important information.

After Guo picked up, Wang reported every single detail of the incident.

'Okay, I got it.'

After hanging up, Guo then called Wu.

'What are you doing?' Guo asked.

Wu replied annoyingly, 'I'm outside doing some urgent matters, I'm driving now, we can talk later!'

'Just you alone?'

'Another hitchhiker.'

After saying that, he threw his phone to the side, continue dodging incoming objects, turning and twisting as if they're driving in a maze.

Tao's sense of direction isn't that good to start with already, now Wu was turning round and round, he has totally lost his sense of the direction.

'Do you know where you're going?' Tao is doubtful.

Wu sneered, 'I don't dare to boast about my driving skills, but there's no one else knows this land better than me, I've lived here since I was born. My favourite game was to run around the different streets, we have to run every street without repeating the streets, whoever finished running along every street wins.'

Tao chortled, it really matches with Wu's foolish image. Also, which normal person would drive a stranger around? He must be really rich!

Guo then called back to Wang, and told him, 'You can stop chasing after them.'

'Are you sure?' Wang confirmed again.

Guo responded a clear yes.

Wang then informed the rest, all of the cars disappeared the next second.

After feeling that the opponents have been shaken off, Wu breathed out in relief, finally they exited from the maze and entered the expressway.

Tao then started to study Wu, from every single strand of hair on his head to the ends of his shoes, he doesn't let go of any parts of his body. Especially the part in between his legs, his eyes stayed there for the longest.

Just now Wu was too nervous, now that he finally can take a deep breath, he then eased the numbness of his butt. But then, he would be better if he didn't wriggle his butt, now he has inflicted pain at his 'gun wound', he then sucked in a deep breathe.

Tao let out a smirk, 'You did some serious workout last night!'

Wu was taken aback by that comment, a hint of guilt flashed across his eyes.

'What...what do you mean?'

Tao didn't reply, he just smiled, he noticed that Wu has that dense character which Shuai also had in the past.

After driving on the road for a while, Wu then glanced back at Tao, he saw Tao was adjusting the bandages on his wrist. Then his gaze travelled further down, he then realized he was wearing a hospital gown underneath that jacket.

'Did you escape from a hospital?'

Tao sneered, 'Your reaction is super slow.'

'They always told me that,' Wu said loudly, 'What happened to your wrist? Did you commit suicide?'

Tao said absent-mindedly, 'Yeah, life is rough, I don't have the motivation to live anymore.'

'Why? You have an unhappy marriage?'

Tao smiled bitterly, 'There's nothing to be happy about.'

Wu continued asking, 'Were the doctor chasing after you just now? Why don't you stay at the hospital and receive treatment, or are you thinking of committing suicide again?'

Tao felt they have travelled far enough, he should be fine from here, then he nodded to Wu.

'So you should let me go now so that I don't die in your car.'

Wu stepped on the brake.

Tao reached out to the door handle, he lightly tugged on it, it didn't open, then he pulled again, he realised the door was locked.

Then, out of the blue, someone hugged him from behind.

'I won't let you go!' Wu said, 'I can't let you commit stupid crimes, think about your family and also your loved ones, how terrible will they feel if you died!'

'You're so annoying!' Tao used his elbow and nudged Wu's chest, 'I'm just kidding.'

Wu held him even tighter, while all of this is happening, he silently reached to the toolbox and grabbed a bundle of rope.

'I don't believe you, I need to send you back to the hospital, send you back to your family!'

Tao grunted, 'Are you nuts?'

'Yes!' Wu's gaze turned sharp, 'I'm that nuts to tie you up!'

Then, without Tao realizing, Wu has tied up his two arms together.

If it wasn't because of Tao's injury, Tao would never allow Wu to tie him up like this normally, then he also thought that Wu was joking around, so he let his guard down, Wu then has this chance to tie him up.

Wu wrapped the ropes around Tao, bundling him up like a dumpling.

After knowing that Wu was serious about it, Tao's softened his tone.

'Bro, please stop, I'm really not going to kill myself, please let me go.'

Wu suddenly let out a booming laughter, he gave Tao a loud and crisp slap across his face.

'Tao, did you expect yourself to be in this state?!'

Seeing Wu's gaze changed into a sharp one, Tao's brows knitted together furiously, 'Who exactly are you?'

'Shuai's apprentice,' Wu said cockily.

'Apprentice?' Tao scanned Wu from top to bottom, 'I don't think I've seen you before? How did you recognise me? Did Shuai show you my photos? The Shuai I know, he should have destroyed everything about me in the past, where did you get the photo?'

Wu really hates the people who think they know someone really well, it almost seems like he knows the dark secrets of people who loved him, and he feels proud of it.

'I have never seen you before, I don't have your photos also, I just figured who you are during this car trip.'

Tao looks unimpressed, he sneered inside: Just by that brain of yours? You're just lucky this time.

Wu grabbed a handful of Tao's hair, 'Do you know how did I figure that out?'

'Don't touch my hair with your filthy hand!'

Wu didn't release his grip, he even pulled on his hair and twisted his head to another direction, pointing at a distinct building not far from where they were, 'Have you seen that before? Don't you feel it's familiar?'

Tao's face dimmed, how can he not know? That's the hospital's ward building, there's a dome on the top of the building.

'How brave are you to run around the streets when your sense of direction is this poor? I've been running in circles for the 7th or 8th time now!'

Tao kept quiet.

Wu added, 'You have a strong Shanghainese accent and your sense of direction is so bad, you're not even familiar with the streets here, you must've been here for a few days only. Normally if someone sees that I'm hurting down there, at most they would think that it's because of haemorrhage, but you're thinking about something else, which proves that you're gay. Just now, I asked if your marriage is blissful, you don't even react to that question, that shows that you might be a divorcee. A Shanghainese who just had been to Beijing for a few days, he even married a woman even though he's gay, he already has enemies as soon as he landed here, now he was being hunted down, if it wasn't Tao who else are you?'

Although Tao really doesn't want to admit Wu's impressive detective reasoning skills, he was still really shocked inside.

Wu continued, 'Of course, the most evident point that shows you're Tao is that fucking attitude of yours. Super authentic! Super real! Super unique!'

Then, he stepped on the accelerator.

'Go to hell!'
