After Ling has left, Wu then carried bags full of the exact same content as the ones in Chi's office and gave out the treats around the departments near Chi's, he was trying to boost his reputation by giving out snacks, he also wants to make people think that Chi is a compassionate and kind person.

'Snacks again?' the Ming from the neighboring department teased, 'Who "sponsored" this time?'

Wu squinted his eye comically at him, 'Who do you think?'

Ming immediately burst out in laughter, 'I knew it's from the precious daughter of the head, I must eat more now, normally we're the ones who send them gifts, now is finally the time when we can take some of their advantages.'

That made Wu felt happy yet frustrated, he's happy that the colleagues were so cooperative, but he's frustrated to know that Chi and Ling's interactions have been witnessed by so many people.

When Wu came to pick Chi up this evening, Chi expectedly threw him the bag of snacks.

'You bought for me?' Wu purposely asked.

Chi said, 'Not sure who put this on my desk.'

Wu said happily, 'Nice, I love all these.'

Do you want to ask Wu why must he buy another exact bag of snacks, why not give out this bag instead? Because he likes to eat treats from someone else!

After taking shower at night, Chi told Wu not to wear anything and lay down on the bed naked. Then, Chi split Wu's butt cheeks apart, poured some unknown liquid on his hand and rubbed it on Wu's soft spot.

Wu couldn't help but shiver, he turned his head to look at Chi.

'What are you doing?'

Chi swayed the cup in his hand, 'My special almond juice, it makes your spot looks healthier and supple.'

Wu didn't even hear what he said after Chi said 'almond juice', then he grabbed his arm, 'What juice did you just say? Almond juice? Where did you get the almond juice from?'

'Hand pressed, there are so many almonds, it would be a waste if we were to eat all of them.' Chi then continued, 'Of course, almond is the main ingredient, I added some other stuff too. Did you know that almonds can help to improve your complexion? Actually, almond oil is a very common ingredient in beauty products.'

 Wu doesn't care about that, he only cares about his almonds, why the almonds have already reached the very end of his digestive system without passing through his mouth?! AHHHH! Return me my almonds! You wasteful bastard!

Chi continued with his job, he proceeds to the interior after finished with the outside of it, Chi always loves to look at Wu's flesh so he would cover every necessary part.

But Wu isn't very appreciative, he was still agonizing over his almonds. 

'Why did you trample my favorite food?'

Chi replied, 'For my favorite food.'

Chi was frustrated, 'It's just butt, why must you put in so much effort into it? Do you even care its color when you're fucking it?'

'It's different,' Chi whispered beside Wu's ear, 'It looks so supple and fresh, I prefer licking it.'

Now, Wu has loss of words.

He laid on the bed thinking, just you wait, when I found the evidence of yours and Ling's dirty secrets, I will skin you alive! Then I'll pay you back all of this, double!

As Wu expected, the next day, Ling went to Chi's office and look at the results.

In the end, the desk was empty.

Wow, he really finished all of that?

But when Ling looked down, there were almond seeds from yesterday in the bin, it proves that Chi didn't throw any extra trash into the bin. It isn't normal, because there were pistachios and melon seeds in the bags yesterday, there should be trash right?

Then he rummaged through Chi's cabinets and drawers, nothing.

Ling leaned against the door frame and thought, did he bring them home to eat?

Or he doesn't bear to finish them, he's hiding them somewhere?

When she was thinking, Zhang from the other department came up to her, he was excited to see her and spilled everything out. 

Princess Li, let me ask you something, where did you buy those melon seeds? It's super tasty.'

Ling's heart dropped, 'What melon seeds?'

Zhang pointed at the bag in the trash can, 'That kind of melon seeds, didn't you buy them for Chi? Chi gave out to us.'

Ling wrapped her arms in front of her chest, showing an interrogating face.

'Did you say you want to eat the snacks when Chi went to your department?'

Zhang laughed, 'Princess are you kidding me? Chi already gave me a packet,  and that,' he pointed at the haw flakes on his desk, 'that's also from Chi.'

Ling's expression worsened.

Zhang noticed the change of ambiance around him, he quickly explained himself.

'No only me, the whole department, the department next door, anyway he gave them all out to the nearby departments. If you were to go in, they will welcome you with a rounding ovation.'

Ling was so angry that she couldn't say anything, then she turned around and left.

Zhang yelled behind her, 'You still haven't told me where did you buy the seeds from!'

There aren't any melon seeds left in Ling's mind, she can only think about slapping someone. (In Mandarin, the pronunciation of melon seeds rhymes with slapping.)

Then, not far from Chi's office building, Wu's car was parked not far from there.

'Sis!' Wu greeted her again.

Ling was feeling frustrated, she walked over to Wu.

'Didn't you say Chi loved those snacks? Why did he give them all away?'

'Oh?' Wu acted as if he's confused, 'I was about to tell you, don't put any snacks on Chi's desk anymore. He's very generous, he would give anything out to his colleagues, then slowly everyone just takes them straight from his desk without even asking.'

Ling felt calmer.

'So this is the case!'

'Yeah,' Wu said smilingly, 'Do you think he doesn't like your gifts?'

Ling pouted, 'I don't think that way, I just thought he doesn't care about it.'

Wu reassured her like a big brother, 'He's the type that has a sharp mouth but he's really soft deep inside, yesterday when we were having dinner he was still complimenting you. He said that you're really detailed and meticulous, you knew every flavor that he loves.'

Ling blushed, 'It's all because of your tips.'

Wu chortled, 'I don't dare to mention that to him, how sad would he feel!'

Ling's trust in Wu has increased significantly, so she couldn't help but ask more from Wu.

'Are you Chi's driver?'

Wu paused for a moment then said, 'You can put it that way, I'm also his personal assistance.'

And a partner in bed and also his god-son.

Ling's eyes sparkled, 'So you're pretty close to Chi? Besides driving him to and from work, do you spend a lot of time with him?'

'Yeah should be a lot,' Wu replied briefly, 'We often eat together, he would bring me along if he has a business trip or something, we also play cards sometime.'

Wu was being relatively humble, but it still made Ling super jealous of him.

'Can you help me deliver something to him?'

Wu replied without hesitation, 'Of course, I'm always willing to help Sis!'

This sentence has already flown Ling up to cloud nine.

She immediately went into the car and had a long talk with Wu. She asked him what does Chi likes to eat, Wu told her every single thing that he likes to eat. Except for snacks, he doesn't miss out any fruits and mains, anyway, he wouldn't let this opportunity go.

Then, he remembered the dumplings that Ling sent yesterday, so he reminded Ling.

'He praised the dumplings that you sent yesterday during dinner last night.'

Ling was puzzled, 'Didn't you say Chi doesn't like dumplings?'

Wu explained, 'It's from you! He doesn't eat in front of you, but after I took a few bites he threatened to kill me! He even said: "How dare you eat the dumplings from Xiao Ling? Give me that, I'll eat it even I don't like it."'

Ling has been intoxicated by the words 'Xiao Ling', then she immediately told Wu, 'Then I'll tell my helper to make more dumplings tomorrow, I'll make you some too.' (In Chinese, if you add a Xiao, which means little, in front of their names, it kind of means that you're calling that person a sweetheart, or treating them like a little puppy or kitten, something cute. Couples often call their partners with a Xiao in front of their names. I hope this is clear enough I'm super bad at explaining.)

'Thanks, Sis.'

Thank you for saving up my lunch money for me.

The few days after, Ling followed what Wu told her, she bought a lot of food for Chi every day and told Wu to hand over to Chi. Wu didn't only eat free snacks every day, he also saved up a lot of money. But he was respectful to her as well, whenever she sends something to him he would always call her 'sister-in-law', then he made up something Chi never said, letting Ling thought that love has already sprouted, they just haven't made the move to tell each other.

But, Ling would think to herself, why haven't Chi's attitude towards her changed? It seems like all of the changes are coming from Wu's mouth, but when she's facing Chi, all she could see was a cold face.

So, after being Santa Claus for a week, Ling was starting to be impatient.

'Why Chi doesn't pick up my phone call?'

Wu said, 'That's his habit, he would set his phone on silent whenever he's at home, he doesn't like it when someone calls him when he's resting. You can add him on WeChat, he doesn't like to talk to people, he prefers to text.'

After hearing this, Ling felt much better.

'Fine, tell me his account.'
