Counter Attack Chapter 169

After Wu has left, Shuo came out from another room, he was staring at Lian.

'Look at yourself, you really like him that much?'

Lian didn't reply, he just continued tying his shoelace.

'He's handsome, he's not scheming, he really make you want to protect him huh?' Shuo asked him again.

Lian still kept quiet, his deep set eyes were radiating a chilly aura, he was so different from the gentle him in front of Wu just now.

'Wang Lian, are you a fucking mute or something?' Shuo was mad.

Lian finally responded, but his response proved his decision to keep quiet right.

'You're right,' Lian replied.

Shuo's face immediately became pitch black, so he talked back with his usual roaring tone, 'What the fuck, are you trying to start trouble? I suddenly realised, your personality is really similar to Chi's, you become an idiot in front of an idiot but turn into an asshole in front of opponents. Look at yourself when you're him, I've never seen you look more like a retard ever!'

Lian finished tying one side of his shoes, he grabbed the another one.

Shuo hasn't finished, 'You're like a fucking chameleon! You just change into whoever you see! You've turned into a pig after meeting him!'

Lian stood up, he looked down at Shuo from a height.

'So I want to slap you as soon as I see you.'

The rage cultivating inside Shuo has started to overfill, he pounced on Lian.

'Fuck you, what did you say just now Wang Lian? I dare you to say it again! Don't think that just because you've grown a few more bones than me I wouldn't dare to do anything to you, I'll fucking summon a hive of snakes to strangle you to death!'

Lian's huge palm grabbed on Shuo's nape, 'It's time for your medication.'

It was like Lian has plucked out Shuo's voicebox, his mouth was wide open and he forced a few croaks out, but no actual word came out of his mouth. Lian just dragged Shuo like that and bent down to look for medications prescribed for paralyzing nerves. He grabbed a few pills and stuffed it into Shuo's mouth, he didn't even gave him any water, he just pushed them pills down into Shuo's stomach.

After letting Shuo go, he continued with his lecture.

'Lian you just continue like this! You only knew how to bully your brother since we were kids, no wonder Mom said you're an ungrateful bastard, you are an ungrateful motherfucker! What the...what are you trying to do...ahhh...'

Shuo let Lian tie him up against the sandbag, Shuo has needles in between each of his fingers, every needle flew out all at once, and every needle has past by critical parts of Shuo's body and onto the wall.

'Lian, I'm warning you!' Shuo's face was bright red, 'You better fucking let me go, if not I will whistle, once I whistle all my snakes will come out and bite you!'

Lian continued flying needles towards the dangling Shuo.

Shuo was just about to whistle, then a needle flew a few inches above his Adam's apple; he wanted  to whistle again, another came again; Shuo didn't want to give up, then over 10 needles formed an outline of his neck at the wall behind him.

'Ahhhh... do you believe I will call my mom right now, I'm going to file a complain!' Shuo are moving his arms, 'Mom, mom...Lian is bullying me again, help me!'

Then, seeing all of his tricks were all in vain, Shuo was tired.

Lian walked towards Shuo, looked at him into his sand covered face.

Shuo looked as if he was wronged, 'Why do you think I couldn't grow taller? All of this is because of you! If you didn't treat me like since we're young, do you think I would look undeveloped?'

Lian and Shuo has been fighting for the most of their lives, and whenever they started a fight Shuo will always mention this.

This time, Shuo has made a response regarding this claim.

'What we ate was the same, just only I gave my body what they deserved, you wasted all your energy on schemes and plots.'

After returning to the office, Wu placed the apple on his table like an exhibit, he's growing fond of that apple.

Until before dinner, he then took a bite  into the apple, it was so sweet.

He has totally lost his appetite for dinner.

'It's  not about the training, it's the angle you're throwing it. You wouldn't increase your wrist strength like this, you might twist it...'

The advice from his idol has rung in his head, as Wu was thinking about his wrist started moving subconsciously. Out of the blue, the chopstick flew right out of his grip and directly into Chi's face.

Chi used his fingers to stop the chopsticks from gouging his eyeballs out, he just stared at Wu.

'I lost my grip,' Wu smiled awkwardly.

Normally the chopsticks would fall on the ground, Wu's chopsticks fly into people's face, Chi certainly wouldn't return the chopsticks so easily.

Wu can only go and grab it on his own, in the end when he was about to pull the chopstick out Chi refused to let it go.

Chi has used the right amount of strength, this is the limit of Wu's wrist strength, right at the point, that's why Wu couldn't pull it out no matter how hard he tries. But once Wu changes the angle of his wrist, he managed to pull it out in a split second.

Looks like someone has been teaching him.

Wu didn't think that Chi who doesn't step out of the house, without a help of a spy, just by a chopstick that flew into his face, Chi could deduce the full story of Wu's affair.

Of course, Chi didn't confront Wu directly, he just gave him a fair warning.

'Don't do such dangerous thing again.'

Wu asked, 'It almost poked your eyes right?'

Not almost, it already had, it stabbed right into my heart.

At night, Wu went to shower alone, his phone suddenly rang.

Chi grabbed it and took a look, a foreign ID sent a message.

'Is the apple tasty?'

Chi replied on behalf of Wu.

'You better change your number, in case I find out who you are.'

Then, Chi added this number into the blocked list.

At night, Wu was constantly checking his phone while lying on the bed. He sent Lian a message first, telling him that this is his number, but there wasn't a reply.

Chi glanced over at the side, Wu was acting as if he was playing a game.

If Wu was texting someone openly, Chi doesn't take it personally, because it's obviously a trick to make Chi jealous. But the problem was Wu's unusual actions, he was hiding something from Chi, ever message that he sent will be deleted immediately, his secretive action didn't have a hint of purposefulness.

At night, after Wu has fallen asleep, Chi called Shuo.

'Wu went to your house this afternoon?'

Shuo kept quiet for a while, 'Aren't you torturing yourself by asking me? Even if he didn't come, I would say he did; even if he didn't stare at my brother's crotch, I would say he did; even if he didn't ask my brother to teach him some tricks, I would say he did...Chi, you're really something! Just for an apple you're willing to call me?'

'You sent that message?' Chi asked.

Shuo said, 'Are you willing to receive a call from someone you love to show much they care about your opponent, just to destroy your opponent's image?'

Chi kept quiet for a while, 'Tell your brother to keep his apples.'

Then, he hung up.

Shuo hung up and chortled, tell my brother to keep the apples? What are you going to do about our apples?

After laughing ridiculously for a few seconds, he threw the phone down the stairs.

This phone was from Lian, it is extremely shock proof, no matter how many times Shuo has thrown it away it has returned to his hands without a single scratch.

I'll see if you're going to shatter into pieces this time!

Shuo has suffered form insomnia, he was been lying on the sofa for the whole night, the second morning, just as he was about to fall asleep, the doorbell rang.

Opening the door, there were a few workers outside.

'Hi, we're from the farm, these are the apples you ordered.'

Then, several men walked right into the house with boxes of apples in their arms. Soon, just as the first batch of men left, the second appeared from the lift and filled the house with more apples.

Shuo quietly stared as the apples started filling up one room, two rooms...

Shuo was forced to stand by Lian's room's door, he shouted, 'Lian, you're still sleeping? Our house is getting surrounded by apples, for fuck sake, wake up now!'

In the end, by the time Lian has opened his eyes, the apples have already filled up to his bedside.

The men started stacking the boxes of apples up on Lian's bed.

Shuo punched on Lian's chest.

'It's all because of you! You better make a road for me, if not how are we going to leave this room?'

As they were talking, the boxes have disassembled and the apples just rained all over them.

The house suddenly became into a sea of apples.

Lian stood up rather calmly, he opened the windows and jumped right out. He successfully landed on his feet under the terror gaze of a lady.

Then, he took a few steps forward, tapped on the shoulder of the guy that just picked up his phone.

'Thanks, this is my phone.'

'How did you...this...'

The guy kept turning his head while talking, he couldn't even talk straight now.

'Mister, mister, this is your phone, I was just helping you to pick it up.'

Shuo was still shouting at the window, 'Lian you're fucking great, what happens to me? How am I getting out? Ahhhhh...'

Then, the apples came rolling down.

Shuo has sought refuge under the desk.

The apples were still flowing in non-stop, Shuo can only jump into a box for now.

Then he heard the men said.

'Mr. Wang, your apple have arrived, we will make our leave now.'

Shuo looked down, he has the space of a small box, his brother uses one of this to hold the apples, so he still has more boxes of apples in this house. He didn't even have the space to throw them away even if he wants to, apples were everywhere, basically he has been 'buried alive' by apples.

'Tell your brother to keep his apples.'

Shuo then fully comprehend the meaning of Chi's words.

This guy is really thoughtful, how amazing! Shuo has the upmost respect for Chi. Because he realized, he can still fit into one of these boxes, if it were the body of his brother, if he doesn't keep these apples away soon, he will definitely 'drown' in apples.

He bit down into an apple angrily.

You enjoyed every good bits of it, and now I have to suffer for your sake, Wang Lian, I'm destined to be living miserably in your hands!
