Counter Attack Chapter 32

The ball pen was circulating among the callous fingers, he sat with his legs crossed like a boss, Shuai was enjoying his life without disturbance from Guo. Ever since he made things clear with him, it looked like Guo really gave up, he was absent from clinic for days now, Shuai was very happy with it.

As he was thinking about it, a ghost suddenly drifted into the clinic.

Shuai turned his head around to see, and he almost shitted his pants. Wu has dark circles around his eyes, his eyes lost in color and his gaze was vague, his steps were unusually heavy... He even had this feeling of death and hopelessness.

'What's wrong? Did something bad happened again?'

From the word 'again', Shuai was suspecting Wu's series of unfortunate events.

Wu shook his head, then quietly went into the bedroom, closed the door with a loud bang.

Shuai was feeling worried, it's not the first time that something bad has happened to Wu, each time he just cursed for a while then he's fine again, he never shut himself out before. It looks like it's not that simple this time, Shuai gently knocked on the door few times, asked in a soft tone, 'Hey Wu, what's wrong? Come out and talk with me.'

There was no response.

'Don't pretend now! Get out from the room this instance! At least cry or scream and give a response!' Shuai was distressed.

Wu just replied, 'Nothing.'

There must be something! Shuai turned the knob, it was locked from within. He remembered putting the key in his desk drawer, then he was rummaging through the drawer.

'Doc Shuai, please help my brother! His arm was cut by a glass.'

Shuai lifted his head and asked, 'Where's he?'

A familiar yet annoying person stood by the entrance, a tall guy with slitty eyes, with a broad smile on his face. His arm has definitely been cut, his other hand was covering the wound and blood was dripping all over the place, the raw smell of blood assaulted Shuai nostrils.

Shuai stoned there,  emotionless.

Wang urged, 'Doc, you have to hurry! This is real dripping blood, you couldn't possibly ignore him right?' After saying he threw a stack of cash on the desk.

That's right, a stack of cash, at least a few thousands of it.

Shuai sat down on his chair.

Wang buzzed into Guo's ear, 'What did I say? Who doesn't want money nowadays? You're still treating him like an innocent baby.'

Guo didn't say much, he stretched out his arm.

After bandaging his wound, Shuai lifted his chin, 'Go into the room and lie down on the bed, get ready for injections.'

Once he said that, Guo hadn't even moved, his underlings were already backing up.

After taking the bottle of solution, Shuai went into the room, which he saw an exhilarating scene.

Guo literally took off his pants, exposing his manhood to Shuai without holding back. Not even a hint of embarrassment, not even hiding his own dirty thoughts, he just showed off his assets proudly.

Shuai only looked at the thing in front of him for a brief moment before looking elsewhere.

'Turn around!' Shuai said.

Guo was still facing Shuai, not moving an inch.

Shuai pumped out the air in the syringe and said, 'If you wish to inject on your penis, I have no objections.'

Guo sneered, 'Doc, you're so daring.'

'You can get lost!' Shuai shouted.

Guo finally earned a shouting, laid on the bed with a sense of satisfaction.

Shuai pierced the syringe without holding back.

'Ah---!'

The underlings outside were pretty impressed, 'Woah, there's so much happening in there already?'

Wang was getting restless, 'If I'm not mistaken, that was Guo's voice?'

'.....'

After the injection, Guo was grumbling until Wang went in.

'Guo, the company needs you now.'

Guo stood up and left immediately without delay.

A stash of cash left the clinic along with Guo, some stacks even hit landed on Wang, there was a $50 note within them too.

Shuai shook the three $100 notes in his hand.

'I'll keep this $250, thanks.'

Guo threw a mocking look at Wang, Wang pursed his lips indignantly. 

After Guo had left, Shuai looked over at the bedroom door, not sure when did Wu came out, he was standing by the door. He didn't say anything, just looked at Shuai with mixed emotions.

Shuai suddenly felt awkward, 'How long were you standing here?'

Wu didn't reply, he shuffled towards Shuai. His raven black eyes were radiating a weird aura, making Shuai cold sweating.

After a while, Wu spoke.

'How did you do that?'

'Huh?' Shuai was clueless.

Wu then continued, 'He likes you, doesn't he? He was here every day because he wanted to woo you, isn't it? He deliberately hurt his arm to come and see you, didn't he?'

Shuai thought Wu had some serious blow, then he came back and witnessed this kind of situation, then patted his shoulder and reassured him, 'You're mistaken, we are...'

'Please teach me!' Wu suddenly grabbed Shuai's hands.

Shuai was lost again, 'Teach you what?'

'Teach me how to hook up with guys.'

Shuai thought he heard wrongly, then he asked again, 'Hook up guys?'

Wu's eyes were glowing all of a sudden as if he had found inspiration for his revenge plan. He pulled Shuai into the house, told him everything from the start and his plan.

Anger surfaced from Shuai's good-looking face. 

'This woman is so pretentious!'

Wu tightened his jaws, 'I've been wondering, why hurt one of them when you could hurt two of them? It's too difficult to let Yue Yue like me again, even if she really do, the baldy doesn't have anything to lose too, he could find one again. But what if I'm attached to him, that's different now, Yue Yue will feel sad right? The baldy will feel sad if I cheat his feelings too right?...'

'Wait a minute, 'Shuai stuck up his index finger to stop Wu, 'Don't you think seducing the baldy is more difficult than changing Yue Yue's heart?'

'Who said I'm going for him?' Wu sneered, 'I'm hooking up with him, then let him come for me.'

What the heck, you're one ambitious. You've become a god all of sudden. 

Shuai was praying in his head for a while, then he was worried again.

Wu was still imagining in his mind, 'You imagine if he was acting like Guo one day, he was willing to bleed to get closer to me, how satisfying must it be?!'

Shuai stood up, 'Bro, stop joking with me, I need to pack my things.'

Wu stood up and stopped Shuai in a swift action, he kept his smiley face and looked serious for once.

'Shuai, I'm not kidding with you, I'm dead serious. You had never seen the woman that you've loved for 7 years kissing with another guy, you'll never know how much pain I'm in right now!'

Shuai revoked in his heart, what kind of pain is this? I almost jumped off a bridge because of someone back then.

After keeping silent for a while, Shuai spoke first.

'Do you know him?'

Wu shook his head, 'I don't even know his name.'

Shuai kept his cool, 'Then you'll get to know more about him within this two weeks, including his background, past relationships, his interest... Everything, you need to dig it out no matter what.'

'I agree with you in this, but aren't 2 weeks a bit too long? I couldn't possibly do this for 2 weeks straight without doing anything else, could I?'

'Who said you're doing this only?' Shuai said sourly, 'You should do what you're supposed to do,  this is just for entertainment, get it? You don't only need to work, you need to work harder than before! Remember, no matter you're baiting woman or man, self- dependence is the key.'

Wu looked determined, 'I get it.'

Shuai scratched his head, then thought of something.

'You have no problems with your image, you'll just need to work on your charisma. So-called charisma, it's not about you copying what others are doing. It's about being you, now you're being in an unstable state, you're getting mood swings, you need to rearrange yourself and be Wu.'

'Myself...' Wu mumbled to himself.

Shuai cupped his hands on both sides of Wu's head, staring into his bright eyes.

'Remember, you need to take full advantage of these eyes of yours.'
