Counter Attack Chapter 140

After returning home, Wu continued sighing, he didn't even finish his meal, normally he would always snatch the spot under the shower head with Chi, but not today. He went to bed early, he sat on the bed with his back against the head of the bed, staring blankly at the wall.

Chi could tell, there's only 30 percent of that expression is genuine.

But even with that mere 30 percent, Chi was still gladly fooled by it.

Wang sounded as if it really happened, 'I dozed off a second just now, he went to the bathroom, and by the time I went in to check on him, he was long gone, he must've escaped through the windows.'

Actually, Guo told Wang to let him go.

The purpose is clear: First, he wants to make Shuai even tense, so that he can fully rely on Guo; second, he will catch him back into his den, then he can play with him however he wants.

As proven, the first purpose has reached, Shuai's heart is literally hanging.

As for the second purpose, Guo was feeling rather confident, he might have already fallen into the trap. But for the sake of the effects, he still yelled into the phone furiously.

'Aren't you going to chase after him?'

After saying that, just as he was about to hang up, Wang shouted again, even Shuai could hear it from here.

'Guo, Guo, please don't hang up yet, I haven't finished my sentence.'

Guo then placed his phone next to his ear again, 'What else?'

Wang said, 'I didn't catch up to him!'

Guo scoffed inside, he might not be the most diligent of all, but he knows how to act at least.

'Then send more of our men over, I don't believe that so many of you can't even locate one patient?'

Wang then added, 'We have totally lost sight of him, we don't know where he went!'

Shuai's expression worsened.

Guo felt something amiss, he excused himself out and asked Wang, 'Aren't you a bit over? It's enough, stop overreacting, Shuai's face has gone pale.'

'I'm not!' Wang was stomping in frustration, 'Tao really ran away!'

Guo growled, 'What?'

'I dozed off longer than I thought, when I realized, he was nowhere to be seen already!'

Guo snapped, 'You're great at being a burden! What are you waiting for then?'

'I'm finding now!'

Guo took a deep breath, he forced himself to calm down.

'Listen up, he's wearing a hospital gown, it's so obvious, there's not a lot of taxis around the hospitals either, he shouldn't be far. You don't need to drive around, just look around the hospital, maybe he's lurking in some dark corner.'

'Yes, I got it.'

Guo guessed it right, Tao really didn't get far, he's just inside the hospital's toilet, not sure where he stole the jacket from, he covered his hospital gown and was casually smoking away.

After spending a night with Wang, Tao realized he's not really alert and attentive, he even noticed that Wang was purposely letting him go. In the end, just as he walked to the entrance of the toilet, someone blocked his way.

'Hey bro, can I get a lift?'

Wu couldn't hold it in any longer, he answered offhandedly, 'Wait till I pee.'

Tao noticed that Wu was in a rush, so he chose him.

'I won't let you pee unless you get me a lift!'

Wu was furious, he met ridiculous people, but he hasn't met one as ridiculous as this!

'If you continue to block my way, do you believe that I will pee on you?'

Tao raised an eyebrow, 'Come on.'

Wu really wanted to pee on him, but thinking of how he'll look like when he's peeing, it doesn't really put up a good front, so he could only agree to it.
