Counter Attack Chapter 190

The day of Wu's mother's burial, Chi still went.

But he didn't participate in the burial ceremony, he just parked his car at the junction, looking at the hearse driving along the street through the car window, the street was just overfilling with sadness and resentment.

Every family member was crying their hearts out but Wu didn't even shed a single tear, his blank gaze was staring at a far distance, there wasn't any visible expression whatsoever on his face. He couldn't find any other reason to miss his flight now.

Before leaving, Shuo went to Wu's office first

Wu's thoughts had been brought back t reality, he looked at Chi.

He asked, 'What are you doing here?'

Chi replied cold-heartedly, 'I'm here to laugh at you.'

'Shuo is flying off today, you better rush to the airport, if not you won't catch the flight.'

'No worries,' Chi said, 'I have seen you suffered enough, sad enough, how could I leave the country with Shuo?'

Even though he knew Chi was throwing a fit, Wu couldn't help it but get swayed by his words.

'Look all you want.'

Chi only looked at him for a second then averted his gaze.

'Look at how skinny you are now, you used to look at least okay, now you're barely human.'

There was a mirror right in front of Wu, he looked at himself into the mirror, his hairs was unkempt, his complexion was dull, his eyes were deprived of sleep, he really looked inhumane, it was normal for someone to be disgusted by him.

So he kept quiet.

Chi really went all out.

'You have no idea, I'm feeling great looking at you in this state.'

Wu continued to keep quiet.

Chi glanced over at him, he suddenly realized he was crying.

But he didn't make any sound, his tears were rolling down from his nose, forming a huge droplet on the tip of his nose, then dripped onto the desk, it dripped into Chi's heart as well.

Only he knew how miserable he was feeling inside.

Chi continued talking, 'Just cry, cry and I'll feel better, I'm here to look at you cry.'

Wu wanted to hold back his tears as well, but his tears wouldn't stop flowing out.

'Cheating other people's feelings, you deserve the pain you're feeling, no one cares about you.'

These words were like the key to the lock, Wu's tears were pouring out non-stop, and he can't stop too.

Chi was feeling brokenhearted inside, he walked towards Wu, grabbed a handful of his hair and pulled Wu's head back, forcing him to lift up his face at a huge angle.

'Don't cry, do you hear me?' Chi reprimanded.

Wu couldn't hear anything at all, his tears continued pouring out.

Chi gave a solid smack on Wu's butt, he started roaring.

'I told you to stop crying, do you hear me?'

It was to no avail, Chi's action was literally an enhancer which made Wu gone from weeping soundlessly to crying, to howling out loud, each noise he made was destroying Chi's mental wall.

Chi could never say anything mean anything, he pulled Wu in for a hug, he loosened his grip on Wu's hair and reached for his cheeks, to wipe away his tears.

His voice became softer uncontrollably, he sounded so poignant.

'Wei Wei, stop crying now.'

Wu continued crying out loud, the tears have been accumulating in him for days, finally, he could vent it all out in Chi's arms

Seeing the way Wu was crying, Chi's eyes were going red as well, his voice was trembling as well.

'Baby, let's not cry anymore, okay?'

Wu choked on his saliva and was gasping for air, he was crying so hard, there was only one shoulder left for him to lean on.

'Wei Wei, Wei Wei, I'm here...Listen to me, don't cry anymore.'

Chi has nothing left in his heart anymore, those so-called cheating, those harsh words that left his mouth, those man pride...all of those have been destroyed by a person he loves.

At this moment, Chi then realized that he loves Wu with all his heart, even the bones and flesh, if they were separated he would be a bloody mess.

His head dived down to seal Wu's mouth, swallowing all his cry down and forever engraved it in his heart.

Remembering the day he lost his mother, how much he needed him.

Under Chi's comfort, Wu's crying slowly came to ease, his eyelids were getting heavier as well.

Eventually, his sobs were changed to his regular breathing.

Chi gingerly wiped the tears away from his cheeks, he wanted to lay Wu on the sofa and grab a towel from the bathroom. But just as his arm left Wu's body, Wu grabbed onto his arm.

'Don't go,' Wu said.

Chi said, 'I'm not going, I'm getting a towel to wipe your face.'

Wu insisted, 'Don't go.'

Chi said, 'Look at your face now. If I don't wipe your face, and I keep looking at your face, how grossed out will I be?'

Wu didn't say anything.

After a while, Chi's tone eventually softened down.

'Fine fine fine, I'm not grossed out, I'm just joking. Even with a huge snot bubble hanging out of your nose, you're still a handsome ass man.'

Wu's hand reached up to his nose, there was really a huge bubble, he poked it and wiped his snot all over Chi's face.

Mr. Chi has never been tortured like this in his life!

At night, Shuai came to accompany Wu again.

Chi and Wu have long gone to bed, the lights in the room was off.

'You're sleeping so early?'

Shuai mumbled to himself, he scared he would wake Wu up so he didn't even switch on the lights, he just stripped himself naked and crawled right into bed.

Then, he felt that the bed was feeling a little cramped tonight, there was only a small space left for him.

He wanted to squeeze his way further in, but he couldn't.

An arm wrapped itself around his body, it felt weird and different.

After 3 seconds.

Shuai jumped out from the bed.
