Counter Attack Chapter 90

After three days of accompaniment, Yue Yue and Jealous have officially become enemies.

During the day, Chi used his job as an excuse and brought Jealous around with his leader; at night, they didn't leave each other for a single second, not matter what Chi was doing, Jealous will still hanging his neck even when he's showering. Flashes of lightning lit up the room occasionally, Yue Yue felt that there was something pressing down on her legs, she thought that it was the blanket so she sat up to arrange her blanket. She was so scared that her soul has left her body, she was cold throughout, Yue Yue didn't even dare to cry in front of Chi.

She only explained, 'There were thunder and lightning just now, it was terrifying.'

Just as she said that another thunder came booming. 

She timed it perfectly when to scream, just to prove that what she had said was truly honest.

Jealous climbed back to the bed, rolled into a ball, looking all sad and indignant. Chi gently placed Jealous into his arms to check if it's okay, after confirming that there aren't any obvious wounds, he put Jealous back into bed and left the room.

Yue Yue and Jealous was left in the room, staring at each other.

Just now Jealous looked like it's low in energy, but now it was perfectly fine, its eyes were like a black hole sucking away the warmth and heat in the room. Wu threw his phone onto the bed, I really want to cut you up into pieces!

Yue Yue sees that Chi hasn't come back after so long, she wanted to go and take a look, but when she stood up, Jealous quickly lifted its head. Her legs felt like they're not part of her body, she couldn't move any muscle, she couldn't even scream if she wanted to.

Cold, it's too cold, the whole body was frozen.

Her neck was so heavy as if a ton of bricks are hanging on her neck, but she didn't dare to grab it with her hands. She mustered her courage and pried open her eyes, a triangle shaped head was right in front of her, rolling its eyes, making her legs go jelly and gave in. She was wrapped around by Jealous, she was desperately trying to unwrap herself from it like a crazy woman, but as soon as she got away, it wrapped itself around her again...

By the time Chi was back, Yue Yue was already back in her bed, face ghostly white and lips turning purple.

Jealous was hanging on the wall lamp, swaying its tail, looking relaxed.

A day before they went back, Chi passed by a market selling wooden products, he spotted a palm sized rosewood, he thought it is perfect for sculptures. He thought he ought to bring something back, so he bought it with a high price.

Chi contacted a local sculpturist through a friend, his name is Zhang, 70 over in age, he started sculpting when he was 20 plus. His hand has never left the tools for 50 over years, he had created a lot of magnificent sculptures and is one of the most popular people in the industry.

To show him respect, Chi brought a gift along. 

'This is my appreciation to you.'

Zhang laughed light-heartedly, 'You're welcomed, come, have a seat inside.'

Although he's over 70, his back was straight as an arrow, his pace is steady and light. He cleaned his own house by himself, there wasn't a single speck of dust, he really took good care of his hygiene. There are many of his artworks displayed in a cupboard, every piece of them was different, it's really worth looking at.

'Here, drink some tea.'

'Don't worry yourself.'

Zhang was really impressed with Chi's respectful manner; because he's famous everywhere else, most of his customers are prestigious people. There are also a number of rich kids, but there's hardly anyone as mature as Chi.

'I've been working for over half a century, it's the first time someone asked me to sculpt this thing, you're talent my young man.'
