Counter Attack Chapter 145

Tao looked at Chi, he felt that this guest isn't any nobody.

'Who are you?' he asked. 

Chi stood in front of Tao and replied calmly, 'I'm here to examine the goods.'

This place is a basement storeroom, Tao heard the ones who came to examine the goods talking outside before, but he didn't expect one of them to open this door. Since Chi is here, it proves that he isn't an examiner, either he's here to join the fun or he's here to find some revenge.

'The goods are outside,' Tao said.

'I never examine dead goods, I examine living goods.'

Chi's tone was rather calm, but it gives such a deadlier vibe to Tao as compared to Wu's shouting and screaming. Under Chi's burning gaze, Tao can't even think of anything to say, he can only keep his cool.

'Looks like these past two years Shuai learnt a lot, he now has friends to help him out.'

Chi ignored what he said, he then continued what he was saying.

'I'm just here to examine the goods, to see if someone has gotten his profit or loss.'

Then, he hooked onto the metal chain on the floor with his foot, then his legs spun across Tao's head. Tao didn't even see what happened, the metal chain was wrapped around his neck, then Chi's foot pulled him down onto the ground.

Wu was on his way back to the company, then he received a call from his secretary.

'Mr. Wu, please hurry back, Mr. Chi is going mad!'

Wu's heart dropped, 'What happened?'

The secretary sounded worried, 'I'm not sure too, Mr. Chi went to the basement and I think he saw someone suspicious down there. Then Mr. Chi closed the door behind him, he's now interrogating the person in there. The examiners went down there to examine the goods just now, they said they heard cries and screams coming out of that room, everyone was freaking out.'

A surge of electricity jolted into Wu's head, burning off a few billion brain cells.

Fuck, how did it become like this?

After reaching the company's entrance, the driver seat that Wu was sitting on was soaking wet.

'Where's Chi?' Wu asked his secretary, 'Is he still down there?'

She nodded, 'Yeah, no one dared to go down yet, the screamings were too much.'

Wu took a deep breath, he tried to calm himself down.

'Fine, I'll go take a look.'

Just as he was about to step in, he suddenly remembered something and ordered the secretary, 'Find someone to guard the entrance, don't let anyone in, it's not a good image.'

She nodded firmly.

Wu walked down to the basement with his heart racing, he was praying inside, please don't let him misunderstand! That isn't a mistress I'm hiding, that's Shuai's ex-boyfriend, Guo's love rival, I'm just looking after him for a while!

Just as he opened the door to the basement and cracked open a small opening, Wu was mortified by that ear piercing scream.  It almost seems like a fat old pig, waiting to be butchered, chased by its owner who has a huge cleaver, and those noises sound like that. Then he imagined Tao, such a bulky man, he was crying out his lungs, so you can already imagine the level of pain he's experiencing now.

The path from the door to the room is less than 20 meters, not sure how long Wu took to reach the room.

The screams haven't stopped ever since they have started, it gets worse as he gets closer to the room.

The door was opened, Wu placed his hand on the doorknob and pushed it open slightly, he looked in through the small opening.

It has been proven, real pros don't even need any tools to torture someone, he can literally use anything within his reach. Two metal chains and some bricks, that's all you need to make a full grown man beg for mercy.

They both did use the chains to tie him up, Wu tied up Tao's feet and hands, but Chi tied them on his fingers and toes. 

All of Tao's thumb on his hands and his feet has been tied up at the back, he looks like the koi fish on paintings, he was being hanged with his face facing to the ground, all of his weight is relying on four of his thumbs. Plus, Chi used a hook to hook on Tao's nose, forcing him to look up.

He has to do such a difficult position in mid-air, within 5 minutes, he was sweating buckets and looked absolutely miserable.

But Chi thinks it isn't enough, he used another 6 of the metal chains and tied his balls up, there're hooks attached to it also, Chi placed the weights one followed by another on the hooks, 5 pounds, 10 pounds, 20 pounds, everything is hanging off the two balls.

It isn't that Tao is weak, even really bulky and muscular man will have a hard time lifting those weights.

'Let me go...I can't take this anymore...'

Tao's throat has bled from the excessive screaming, the floor beneath him has been soaked by his sweat, that area hasn't been dry all along.

Chi scoffed, then he kicked right into Tao's face.

Tao's whole body is swaying in the air, along with the weights connected to his balls, swaying left to right, like a pendulum clock, the 'pendulum' has traces of blood.

'Grandfather...grandfather...'

Tao almost threw up from crying, his body couldn't tolerate the pain so he kept throwing up.

Wu has scared his wits out, he almost felt his balls detaching from his body, it feels like it will fall out if he's not careful. Even though he didn't see any blood, Wu can almost hear the tearing sound coming from the most vulnerable part, not only Tao, even Wu wants to call Chi his grandfather.

It's too much.

Wu couldn't imagine, a random man being hidden up for a few days, being tortured by Chi. If Chi was to know about Yue Yue and him, will he use all ten medieval methods of torture used during Qing dynasty?

At the thought of it, Wu's body collapsed onto the wall, then glided down onto the floor. Then not sure how did he get up, then walked out of the basement soullessly.

Chi is good enough to give Tao a breather.

All of the efforts of calling him Grandfather hasn't gone to waste, just as soon as Tao was placed on the floor, then he started to let his real sideshow, he started to sow a discord.

'Don't you feel being used?'

Chi looked at him without any expression.

Tao couldn't even stand up, he was still trying to remind Chi.

'Guo left me here, he wants to blow things up, he wanted to use someone else's hands to revenge on me, so he could just sit on the fruit of other people's labour.'

Chi didn't want to bother him at first, then after seeing Tao acting so ignorant and self-centered, he decided to show the rare compassion side of him and answered him.

'You really believe that I thought you're a sex slave so I did all of these?'

Tao didn't reply, the sweat is still dripping down his head.

Chi picked up the bottle that Wu peed in from the ground, then he stuffed the opening of the bottle into Tao's mouth.

'He pees with his back facing you, you're the only one who thinks that you're his sex slave or something. My person will never starve, you really thought you're everyone's cup of tea, you're not sure if he has the appetite to eat you anyway.'

Tao didn't even have the energy to spit out the bottle, he can only close his eyes.

Chi used his ever so normal tone and said, 'Why I tortured you, there's no other reason, it's because you tired my person out.'

After saying that, he smirked and walked out of there.

Unfortunately, the last few sentences that Chi said Wu didn't hear them; after he got out of the basement, he drove at full speed aimlessly, then he realized in such a big world he has nowhere safe to go, he can only hide in the clinic.

Shuai was taking a nap, Guo was sitting at the edge of the bed beside him and stared at him for the whole day.

Wu was just about to step in, then he was being blocked by 4 huge ass bodyguards.

One of them asked with a rough voice, 'What are you doing?'

Wu was stunned, where did so many bodyguards come from? Did they rent this place to someone else? No way, the racks of medicines, the desk is still in there...Just as he was contemplating about it, Guo walked out.

'Let me see Shuai,' Wu said worriedly.

Guo looked at Wu with high alert, 'What for?'

'I really need him now!' Wu said with tears dripping down his cheeks, 'I've suffered a huge hit.'

Guo has none compassion, he just turned Wu's body away from the entrance, 'You should do what you should, why are you trying to add on to the problem? I've just made Shuai a little happier, you don't come in now and ruin everything.'

'No, I can't live without him now! He's my motivation!' Wu said with a face full of agony.

Guo really made up his mind, 'Go go go, go play somewhere else.'

Wu was mad, 'Guo, you dare to chase me out? I haven't even asked you about when you tricked me! You say, did you send Tao to me so you could sow a discord?'

Guo shut Wu's mouth up, then he threatened him, 'I dare you to speak one more word, do you believe I can spill everything about you and Yue Yue?'

Wu tossed Guo's hand away, 'Go on and spill it! I've already done the mental preparation of dying, I came here so I can spend more time with Shuai.'

Then he started squeezing.

Just as Guo was about to carry Wu and stuffed him back into his car, then he heard someone asked from behind, 'What's wrong?'

Wu yelled out, 'Shuai!' Shuai was so happy, just by the sight of Wu's face, his entire mood has been lifted. He jogged towards the entrance, then pulled Wu in for a big tight hug.

'I missed you a fucking lot!' Shuai said with teary eyes.

Wu was also very excited, it seems like with Shuai by his side, he isn't afraid of anything anymore.

Guo stood at the side with a gloomy face, he has problems with one, then came another one, they should call here 'the refuge centre' now.
