Counter Attack Chapter 168

The next morning, Wu opened his eyes, beams of sunlight poured into the room onto the rug through the window, the whole room was well lit. It was a bright sunny day, but Wu felt a bit under the weather, he felt that his chest was a little stuffy as if something was pressing onto his chest.

He turned his head, then he realized the source of stress.

Chi was leaning against the head  of the bed quietly, his robe was half off, his bare chest was exposed, the defined contour of his features extended till his brow bone. His eyes were so deep like a black hole, Wu couldn't track his emotions in his eyes. The end of Chi's lips twitched, the stubble on his face were like thousands of daggers, stabbing into the heart of Wu.

Wu still didn't ask anything about the reunion yesterday, he just stretched out his arm and embraced Chi, half of his face was buried in Chi's chest, his other hand crept into the robe and caressed Chi's waist.

With this move, the intimidating aura of Chi has been weakened.

'What did you do last night?'

'You're asking me?' Wu replied half-asleep.

Chi's burning gaze stared into  his eyes, 'If not who?'

Wu replied honestly, 'I wanted to pick you up, I'm worried that you're too drunk to drive, but I bumped into my idol on the way so I chatted with him. Then I found out one of his secret technique, I was intrigued, so I asked him to teach me.'

Wu's explanation was so sincere and detailed, it doesn't seem like he's trying to hide something. Chi was nothing much to say, he couldn't be angry so he could only keep everything in. In addition of someone's smile, this has totally blocked off all of his sense, he can't eve be angry anymore.

Wu added, 'You can never imagine how powerful he is, he could actually use a needle to puncture a glass window, he can even puncture the rubber gloves in the car! Wait a minute, I brought all the tools, I'll demonstrate once for you. It's so bloody neat!'

After saying that, he went to look for the rubber gloves, needle and the glass he took last night.

'Uh, I remember putting them on the nightstand last night before I sleep, where are they? Chi, did you see...my...tools?'

As he was talking, Wu peered over at Chi, he suddenly realized that Chi's expression was totally unpleasant.

'I've thrown them away,' Chi answered.

Wu was shocked, 'Why did you throw them away?'

'Why are you playing with these stuff?' Chi glared furiously, 'You would feel better if you continue torturing yourself?'

'I just find it interesting!' Wu said.

The anger that Chi suppressed has risen again, 'You think that this trick is cool or you're thinking that the person is cool?'

Wu smiled, 'That person is quite interesting too.'

Chi's expression was so stiff, his voice indicates that he's about to lose it.

'Do-not-play.'

The three words were like three gun shots, it was so powerful.

According to Wu's temper, he definitely will ask why, or just fight with Chi till his death. Like that, Chi can erupt all of his anger and emotions properly.

But this time Wu didn't.

He just replied, 'Fine then.'

After hearing that, it has just fueled Chi's anger.

Wu then pulled Chi's hand and placed it on his head, said, 'I fell down yesterday, my head has huge bump.'

His naked tease, all because Wu wanted to choke Chi to his death.

Wu held Chi's hand and rubbed his hand on his own, then after Wu put down his own hand, he looked at Chi smilingly.

Chi looked at him like this, how could Chi bring down his hand? He could only suppress his anger and continue rubbing his head.

He wanted to continue his 'interrogation' after rubbing his head, but Wu actually fell asleep, acting like nothing has happened, sleeping soundly with his face rubbing against Chi's abdomen. 

Chi also suddenly realized, he can hardly ever predict Wu's behavior now.

In the afternoon, while Wu was on his way to the office, he bought a box full of gloves, two pieces of glass and ten boxes of needles, totally ignoring Chi's words.

He continued with his training in the office.

Needles were flying everywhere in the office, soon something has shattered.

The next afternoon, Wu actually gave the excuse of changing bulbs to visit Shuo's house again, the door opened and two gloomy eyes appeared, Wu smiled ever so brightly.

'You're here too?'

Shuo was leaning against the door frame, looking at Wu with lazy eyes, 'What do you mean by 'I'm here too'? This is my house, don't tell me you came here to look for Chi?'

'That's not it,' Wu smiled embarrassingly, 'I'm here for your brother.'

Shuo's expression changed, 'Why are you looking for him?'

'I'm here to learn!' Wu lifted the tools to the front of his face.

Shuo lifted his chin, 'He's sleeping in his room.'

'Then I'll wait for him inside.'

Then he walked straight into the house, he plopped his ass on the sofa and looked up at the ceiling then asked, 'How's the lights? Are you happy with them?'

'It's fine,' Shuo replied sincerely, 'You're pretty good at pairing lights.'

Wu replied honestly as well, 'It's nothing much, I just chose the same color.'

Shuo lifted his gaze, the lights were all of different colors, how are they the same color? But in Wu's eyes, who is color blind, all the lights look the same to him.'

After talking for so long, the 'pairing' was just a coincidence.

The two sat opposite each other, ever since Wu watched those videos, all of the discomfort that he felt with Shuo has been eliminated

'I feel like you and Chi have some misunderstanding, I'm willing to help you guys out to clarify that,' Wu said.

Shuo not only doesn't appreciate his help, he even picked on Wu's sensitive spots.

'You think me and Chi will go back together?'

'Hah,' Wu was being rather polite.

Shuo leaned towards Wu and whispered into his ear, 'What if I plot against you, making you two have some misunderstanding?'

Wu showed a smile comparable to Mother Theresa's, 'I'm still going to help you out, I believe that you and Guo were innocent, I will investigate and serve you justice.'

'I would be more than welcome.' Shuo pinched Wu's cheeks, 'But I would still love  to plot against you, what should I do?'

Wu still has that same firm expression, 'Suit yourself, I'm just trying to help solve the situation but not you, I have my own principles. I won't hide the truth just because of my selfishness, I rather make myself more miserable than making Chi suffer even more.'

'You're so deep in love,' not sure Shuo was smiling or not.

Wu still looked respectful, 'But not deep as you did.'

Shuo then revealed a bright smile, 'Alright, I'll stop messing with you, I'll wake my brother up.'

'Please don't, I hope my idol can wake up naturally.'

'Then you should go prepare a wreath,' Shuo said, 'He has never woke up naturally before, if I never wake him up, he might just sleep his whole life away.'

'.....'

After 3 minutes, Lian was wide awake and walked out of his room, he has nothing on his upper body and only a pair of loose sweat pants.

Wu's eyes were fixated on him, a whole body of muscles, his fat percentage has never exceeded 8%, he has the body that every guy dreamed of having.

Once he heard someone said before, a guy's manhood and height are in proportion, but in contrast with his weight. Chi's height is 1.87m, his length shall not be revealed; idol's height is 1.93m, so his...

Hehe...Wu laughed out.

Shuo knocked the senses out of Wu, 'You can even smile by staring at someone else's pants, Chi actually allowed you to walk out of the house.'

Wu chuckled again.

Then, Lian started assessing the fruit of Wu's labour for the past two days. He didn't let Wu to puncture the needle through glass for now, he just told him to puncture a sandbag, he will be considered as passed if he managed to do that.

Wu was standing a metre away from the sandbag, his wrist started to tremble.

In the end, the needles were flying everywhere else except for the sandbag, even if it touches the sandbag, it will not puncture it.

'I'm practicising too often these two days, it's a bit overboard, my wrists don't even have strength anymore.'

Lian rubbed Wu's wrist for him and said, 'It wasn't because of the practice, it was because of the angle you held the needle. By the way you practise, you will never improve your wrist strength but rather worsen it.'

Wu suddenly felt that his wrist wasn't as tense as before after Lian has massaged it.

'I'll teach you hand by hand,' Lian said.

Wu was taken aback, before he could wake up from extreme happiness, Lian has already grabbed his hand, with a strong flick of his wrist, the needle flew out at the speed of light.

Then, Lian slowly walked to the sandbag ad pulled out the needle embedded in the sandbag.

Soon, a tin stream of sand started pouring out from the hole, forming a straight line of sand.

'Wow,' Wu gave a standing ovation.

Lian walked to behind Wu expressionless, his tall figure makes him hover above Wu, continued with his tutorial with Wu.

After 5 minutes, the sandbag was covered with needles.

'Go pull them out,' Lian tapped on Wu's head.

Wu obeyed and walked over there, he pulled them all out one by one, by the time he finished pulling all of it out, he realised the sand was pouring out in a shape of a circle, but on the floor is was shaped as a heart.

He quickly took out his phone and shot a picture.

Then he looked at Lian with admiration, 'Can you give me your number?'

Lian ignored Wu.

Wu was visibly disappointed.

Before leaving, Lian held a balloon in his hand and walked towards Wu.

With a loud pop, the balloon popped, Wu was shocked.

Then, an apple fell out of the popped balloon and fell on Wu's head.

When Wu held the apple in his hands, his heart was still racing.

'Thanks.'

Lian didn't say anything much, he just sent Wu off.

Wu was standing in front of the elevator door, he was about to bite into the apple then he realised there was a lot of holes on the apple, it was like the holes from the needles. After taking a closer look, the holes formed a chain of numbers.

It's obvious, that's Lian's number.

Wu couldn't help but to feel touched by Lian's actions, this guy knows how to be romantic, Wu wanted Lian to type his number in his phone, he will memorize it before reaching home, then he'll delete it in case Chi sees it. But now Lian just wrote his number on an apple, so now if Wu wants to eat the apple, he needs to memorize the number first.

 He bite down onto the apple, he couldn't help but to think: Well, we'll meet again!
