Counter Attack Chapter 24

Wu was being retained at the city board building by Chi, in Chi's office.

After removing the mask, Chi finally got to see Wu's face properly. Other than his pair of glimmering eyes, his other parts looked decent, like a normal person.

Wu kept his gaze low, he didn't even bother to look at Chi.

Chi took out a form.

'Name.'

'Wu Suo Wei (which also means anything in Chinese).'

Anything?...Chi looked at Wu with squinted eyes. This guy has some balls, he is sitting in my office now, how dare he to say just 'anything'?

'Sex.'

Chi didn't pronounce the words clearly, Wu heard mistakenly to 'name', he immediately replied, 'Wu Suo Wei.' (the words for sex and name in Chinese have similar pronunciation)

This time Chi laughed, he really did laugh, Wu almost cried in shame.

'Anything for sex?' Chi took out a pair of scissors from nowhere, his fingers playing with the blades mischievously, 'Since you're fine with it, I'll cut it for you! So next time when you're answering this question,  you'll have an exact answer...'

Wu subconsciously squeezed his legs and covered his crotch, then took out his IC out to Chi.

'Wu Suo Wei?' Chi's gaze drooped for a second, 'Is this real?'

'It's definitely true,  you can check it if you want.' Wu said solemnly. 

Chi went to check on his computer, there really is a person with the name in the system.

'There really is someone with this name...' Chi sneered, 'You're something.'

Wu sat on the chair sturdily, he didn't seem to be bothered by Chi's humiliation.

Chi became interested in Wu, he looked through his file again. He found out he graduated from a famous university. He took another glance at him. Surely, he had the aura of a psychopathic nerd.

'Why did you splash the porridge on me?' Chi asked.

Wu looked surprised, 'It was you?'

He even had his head shaved, the culprit didn't even realize how much gelatin he had put in it.

Chi has an emotionless expression, Wu felt the chillness in his heart. But he kept telling himself, the more the person pushes you, the more you shouldn't show that you're scared. In simple words, he's not afraid to die.

'No other reason, I just wanted to splash you.'

Chi stood up and walked towards Wu slowly with the pair of scissors still in his hand.

Wu tightened his fists, staring at Chi with a burning gaze. When they were a step apart, Wu threw a fist relentlessly, but it was caught by Chi mid-air. The emotions of struggling then erupted.

'What are you trying to do? Let me tell you, you cops now are weaklings, weaklings you hear me?  If you really did anything to me, the netizens are not going to let you off, you're ruined for the rest of your life!'

Wu threatened while covered his crucial part, sadly he had covered the wrong place. Chi wasn't interested in that area from the start, he lifted the scissors and went straight to his hair.

'Eh?' Wu was stunned, 'What are you doing? Why are you cutting my hair?'

Cut? Don't even dream about it! I'm cutting it short so it's easy to shave.

Chi then took out the shaving blade from his drawer, without even putting on shaving cream, he just started to shave his hair, Wu's scalp has red blotches everywhere. Wu's pain tolerance is quite high too. I can't handle the pain, I won't bow down to you, even if my head is full of blood I won't give in to you.

After a while, Wu suddenly thought of something, his expression turned pertubed.

'Why are you sahving my head? I just splashed porridge on you, there's no need for me to go to jail, right?'

Chi smirked, 'There's no reason, I just like this hairstyle and I want to find someone to twin this hairstyle with me.'

Wu secretly cursed, this person is just sick, there's no need to bother him!

Chi took Wu's old radio, pressed on the play button.

*some old song played*

Chi straightaway skipped to the next song.

*another old song played*

Again skipped.

*again...old song*

Chi switched off the radio, looked at Wu sympathetically.

'What era is this now? Whya re you still listening to these kind of songs?'

'I'm a huge fan of Yaw Ming.' (a singer with the saem name of the basketball player)

Yaw Ming? Chi was confused, why is Yaw Ming involved in this?

'You like basketball too?'

Wu in turn looked at Chi sorrily, 'Who said its the basketball player that I'm talking about? I'm saying about the composer Yaw Ming, do you know?'

Chi was unconvinced, 'There's a composer named Yaw Ming?'

As a fan, his idol was being neglected, Wu was indignant.

'What, you're out man! You don't even know Yaw Ming? He's the number one composer in the country! He's the composer for the sound track of the drama...'

For the first time in twenty years, Chi was being teased for the first time.

He took out a box filled with money from the drawer, walked to Wu and raised his eyebrows, 'Take this.'

Wu was astonished, he wouldn't think that he would take back his money form an officer.

'Go back.' Chi said.

Wu was amazed, 'You're really letting me go?'

'Disappear in front of me in one minute.'

Wu was gone the next second.

He had just lft, the leader came in after.

'You're letting him go like this?'

Chi asked, 'If not?'

The leader smiled cheekily, 'I've heard you're good at pranking people, I'm still waiting to witness it.'

Chi lit up a cigarette, ignored the leader.

'I don't mess with people who are honest.'

'He's honest?' The leader was enraged, 'He splashed the porridge on you!'

Chi didn't want to waste his breath so he walked past the leader, took Jealous with him and then left.
