Time has flown and one month has already passed by, Wu's new factory has finally completed and they have started to produce their own products.

After seeing Wu's expression, Rui thought that Wu would agree to go, 'Tonight it is, I'll call my mom now, I'll tell her to buy groceries straightaway.'

'Don't call yet!' Wu took out his phone, 'Let me see if I have any special arrangements tonight.'

After they ended work in the evening, Rui drove Wu to his house.

'Mr. Wu, our house isn't in the best condition, it's just a few meters square, I hope you won't mind that.'

'How can you say that?' Wu straightened his tie while checking the rear mirror, then simply said, 'My house is also a few meters square big, I haven't even bought a new house yet.'

Rui was shocked, 'Are you kidding me? You're so rich, you don't have a house yet?'

'Nowadays a good apartment with a good location, a large space costs around $10 million. I spend some of my money on that new factory, now I need to buy some new pieces of equipment, the deadline for the loan is reaching soon, how can I spend more money?'

Wu didn't add on, he also transferred some money to his small safe, he was always thinking about the same dream which he marries someone.

Wu then looked at his nails proudly, his nails were trimmed very neatly.

 'Also, I don't know who will stay in the house even if I bought it, my mom isn't used to it, she would always rush back home within a week of staying over in my sister's house, she feels anxious so she prefers to stay in her old house. Plus, she still thinks I'm working with the company before if I were to say I bought a house she will think I sign for a loan to buy that, she wouldn't stay in peace thinking about that loan.'

Rui was rather surprised, 'Your mom doesn't know you opened a company?'

'No.'

'Why didn't you tell her?'

Wu sighed, 'You have no idea, the people of her generation is too narrow-minded, they always think that working for other is more reliable and stable. No matter how big my business becomes, there will be a day where all of that will be gone in a night, she will be so worried so I kept quiet.'

'My mom thought so too,' Rui said, 'She's still blaming me for quitting my previous job, actually for someone who doesn't have connections like me it's very hard to survive over 3 years in a company like that, I don't even earn more than $2000, my mom who is a hawker might be earning more than me, or maybe she still thinks that more dependable.'

Wu smiled without saying anything.

The car drove into a narrow street, it was really as Rui has described, his family isn't very well off. Their yard is also very messy, there was a lot of stuff laying around everywhere. There's a cart in front of the house, there are a stove and a pot on top of it, I guess that's what his mother used for her business.

Wu suddenly recalled back to the days he used to be a hawker.

Hearing movement outside the door, Rui's mother walked out with an oil-stained apron, she was first shocked to see Wu, she felt Wu's face familiar but she couldn't remember where she saw that face before.

'Hi, Mrs. Lim,' Wu greeted politely.

Mrs. Lim placed her opinions aside and greeted Wu smilingly, 'Hi nice to meet you, come in and have a seat.'

When they're having dinner, Mrs. Lim kept staring at Wu, then Rui spotted that so he reprimanded his mother, 'Why are you staring at him?'

She said, 'I think I saw him somewhere before.'

'Where can you see him? His company is in the business district, you're doing business in the west area, how can you meet him?'

But Wu said, 'Yes, I saw you before.'

Rui was shocked.

Wu reminded Rui's mother, 'Do you still remember? I used to open my stall next to yours because I went there earlier and took your place, you were quite mad at me back then.'

Mrs. Lim suddenly remembered everything, then immediately taken aback.

'You...you're that guy that time?' 

Wu nodded smilingly.

When he arrived at the hotel, he looked at his couple watch, it was only a little past 7 pm.

Chi has called just now, he will only leave at around 8 o'clock.

So, Wu naturally tuned the clock to 8.

When he tunes the time on his side, Chi's watch tune as well.

This dinner may be a gathering dinner, but it literally looks like a party, because Chi refused to go to Ling's house for a dinner, so she came up with this idea. She pleaded with his father to set up a dinner and called a few leaders over, Chi then finally agreed to go.

Chi was already outside the hotel walking down the stairs, suddenly he felt something fell on his back. If it wasn't because of his stable footing, he would be rolling down the stairs along with Ling.

Ling awkwardly adjusted her attire, she was still gasping for air.

'Sorry, I ran too fast.'

Chi didn't say anything, he continued walking down the stairs.

Ling followed behind him, she was trying hard to crack a joke.

'You walk really fast.'

Chi stopped a few meters away from Wu's car and asked her, 'What do you want?'

Ling shook her head, she tried to smile the best she could.

'Nothing, I just want to send you off.'

'That's enough, my car is here.'

After Chi has gotten into the car, Ling still refuse to go in and was waving to Chi, up until Wu drove out to the road, Ling never let down her hand.

Although Ling looks average, Wu only saw her once, but he still recognized her. Isn't this the woman from a few months back, who console me with her looks?

He purposely asked Chi, 'Who's that? She dared to send you off by just that look, her mentality is quite strong.'

Chi said, 'Mr. Li's daughter.'

Wu's emotions were like rolling waves inside, but he appeared calm, he didn't continue asking.

Chi then asked Wu, 'You still have to trim your hair when you're working overtime?'
