Counter Attack Chapter 132

Even since Chi gave Wu his words, Wu doesn't doubt him again, he started to put all his attention on Chi and their relationship. Although he doesn't act like how he clung to Yue Yue in the past, compared to the days before, he and Chi have grown 'closer'.

Chi's work is more relaxed, so he occasionally would send Wu to work, because of the distance between Wu's company and their home, whenever it's peak hour they will be stuck in a very bad traffic jam for at least half an hour. Wu couldn't get enough sleep, Chi would wake up super early and fetch him to his office so Wu could catch a short nap before work, then Chi drives to his workplace.

And every week there will be that one day, Wu will drive Chi to work, it's not because that day was particularly relaxed, more like Wu's testosterone has overshot, he insisted on giving Chi a ride.

They hardly ever discuss work together, but they're secretly worried about each other.

Chi has put in a lot effort in Wu's company, everything from the smallest and the biggest is in his control, unofficially he's the vice manager, but sometimes he appeared to be more powerful than the official manager. Wu isn't that bad either, he secretly had some friends among Chi's colleagues, and because of that Chi treats them better, his social circle in his department is also growing. 

Today is again the day where Wu has overflowing testosterone, he climbed out of his bed and yawned constantly, he must send Chi to work. Today Wu has to work overtime, Chi has been waiting for an hour outside his workplace, there's still no sight of Wu. If he dared to call a cab to Wu's company, Wu will ignore him for the next 3 days.

So Chi could only wait.

It was 7 o'clock, most of the workers have ended work, Wu then finally arrived.

Chi's colleague Xiao Pan was walking out of the building at that time, seeing Wu's car parking outside, he nudged Chi, 'Big Eyes Wu came to pick you up again?'

'What did you call him?' Chi asked.

'Big Eyes Wu! Look at his huge eyes, they're so dark and bright. That night I was talking to Tong Zi when we're drinking, he said Big Eyes Wu's face is like the map of China, both of his eyes take up 8 million square feet of space, the rest of his face is only 1 million square feet, haha...'

Chi quietly looked at him while he laughed, he didn't say anything, then went into Wu's car.

The car was so noisy, Chi knows Wu caught a few sparrows again, not sure from where. He always checks on nests whenever he goes out for on-site inspections, his special habit has already been known all across the company.

'Don't always feed him sparrows,' Chi said, 'You're spoiling him, he won't eat other food anymore.'

Wu totally ignored that, he would feed Jealous whenever he has something good, if there isn't then it's Chi's turn to feed, everything good is from Wu, so now Jealous really likes Wu more. 

When they're passing by the restaurants, Wu slowed down and thought of their dinner menu.

'Right, we haven't eaten leek dumplings for a while now,' Wu said.

Chi immediately objected, 'Have you forgot that last week you ate it, you puked and had diarrhea for the whole night? Now they spray pesticides on leeks, you need to soak it for at least half an hour to get rid of the pesticides, which restaurant has that patience to do that?'

Wu said, 'I didn't forget, I still want to eat it.'

'Eat with the fennel filling,' Chi said.

'It isn't as delicious as leek's.'

'Eat the fennel ones, otherwise, don't eat it,' Chi kept his tone straight.

Wu blocked out Chi's voice from his head, he suddenly stopped the car in front of a restaurant.

He wanted to get down from the car but Chi grabbed his arm before he could do that.

 'I can't control you now, can I?' Chi said bitterly.

Once Wu's eyes met Chi's, half of Wu's spirit has been sheared, he can't help it; if he were to be a regular person right now, he would've been hiding in a corner, eating fennel dumplings and crying. Wu has quite the balls, when being stared at Chi like that, he still dared to negotiate with Chi.

'I can buy a bunch of leeks and make it myself at home right? I will soak it for an hour, I don't believe that it will not be clean after that.'

Gloom overshadow Chi's expression, 'You're really craving for it, huh?'

Wu nodded eagerly.

'You rather puke and have diarrhea, you still want to eat it?'

Wu nodded.

Chi was helpless, Wu wasn't this stubborn for the first day either, when he wants to do something so badly, he will finish it even if it will cost his life. Just like last time when he wanted to eat meat really badly, he would rather cry in the toilet after eating it, he must eat it. So Chi is rather troubled by a thought, if Wu didn't get to be on the top for once, will he fight for it till he dies?

He cooled down and asked Wu, 'Do you know how to make them?'

It's rare for Chi to give in, Wu must say yes, but actually, he only watched his mom make them.

Chi drove to an organic vegetable farm, they bought two bundles of pesticides-free leeks, but still, they soaked it for a long time. 

The two officially started working on the dumpling.

Wu was in charge of the dough, while Chi prepared the filling.

Chi has played with almost every sort of knife, but he has never touched a kitchen knife before, he has a good grip on it but he lacks the cutting skills. Wu peered over at him, then scoffed, 'Are you preparing the leeks for stir-fry or for filling? Can you cut it smaller?'

Chi asked back, 'Can you knead the dough to make it softer?'

Wu acted as if he's a pro, 'The dough should be tougher so the filling won't escape easily.'

Then, he continued kneading it.

Chi started adding condiments into the filling, he likes heavy flavours, he threw in a ton of salt but Wu didn't even say anything, but when Chi dripped a few drops of sesame oil, Wu started nagging.

'Don't use too much, it's $40 for one bottle!'

Chi said, 'If you think it's wasting money, let's not buy meat filling next time, just cut some off your butt, there will be meat and oil.' Then he placed his hand on the softest part and gave it a squeeze.

But unfortunately, Chi doesn't want to let go once he touched it, he was kneading Wu down there while Wu is kneading the dough, in the end, the dough was so tough, Wu will probably faint if someone knocked him with the dough.

Wu was once confident with his dough, he put the filling in, make it into a small bun, then flattened it out with the rolling pin. Who knew when he started to roll it out, all of the fillings splurted out, making a mess everywhere.

Fuck, what happened?

Wu's expression soured, he was forced to explain his way out under Chi's mocking gaze.

'No problem, let's just make pizza.'

Finally, the dumplings are served, Wu took a bite of his fruit of labour, he had to chew quite a bit, then he almost died from over-seasoning.

'It's too salty, you put too much salt.'

Chi poured some vinegar in Wu's bowl, 'Eat it with some vinegar.'

'Okay, I'll eat it with some cucumber.'

Wu then took a cucumber, one bite of cucumber followed by a bite of the dumpling, as he was eating, the monster opposite him was been staring at him intensely. Not sure how it happened, the cucumber then went in his butt, the meal ended after 3 hours.

Before going to bed at night, Wu brushed his teeth diligently. Ever since he started dating Chi, his habits have changed tremendously, it's not because of Chi, more like Wu is trying to keep himself in check. Just taking brushing teeth as an example, he read from a magazine which says if one doesn't clean their tongue, they will have bad morning breath. Ever since he has been cleaning his tongue every day, he even gurgled with mouthwash then he can finally go to bed.

Every time seeing Wu brushing his teeth so seriously, Chi feels very happy inside. Wu may say that's because of his personal hygiene, actually, Chi knows what he's thinking about, Wu was afraid that Chi won't kiss him.

The next day, the Pan who called Wu 'Big Eyes Wu' was walking on the streets, then he was being blindfolded, then the culprit punched him in the left eye.

That time his brain was buzzing, by the time he finally could open his eyes, the culprit has already long gone.

Fuck! Which bastard did this?!

He looked into the mirror when he got back to the office, there isn't any bruise around his eye, he was relieved, luckily it isn't something very serious. But after staring at the computer screen for a while, tears started to roll out from his left eye, at first he thought he was suffering from fatigue, he put a few drops of eye drop but to no avail, it somehow seems to be more serious, plus it was flowing out from one eye only.

Pan has no idea, his tear duct has gone bad, he only knew that he needed to complain about his situation to Jian Zi.

'Fucking hell, I am low on luck today, I got punched in the eye by some bastard today, tears have been rolling out of that eye for the whole day. It's better if it's both eyes, but it's just my left eye, I'm literally crying.'

After saying that, Jian Zi looked at him with a tear-filled eye, because he has the same problem as Pan.

'Which side of the eye?' Jian Zi asked.

'Left, why?'

'I am right.'

'......'

Ever since, no one ever dared to call Wu 'Big Eyes Wu', everyone just calls him Manager Wu respectfully.
