Counter Attack Chapter 170

It has again been proven that Chi's warning does not work on Wu.

After Wu went back t the office, he continued training his needle piercing trick, he was so engrossed with it that he forgot to eat. Unless the job really requires his presence, he would just push the jobs to his subordinates, he just focused on his practice. After Shuai has observed him for a few days, he finally decided to show up.

The second Shuai stepped down from the car, he has caught a lot of attention, on his way up to the second floor, everyone who walked past him has turned back to look at him again. But as expected from the teacher, even under such intense attention, he could still remain his composure, pulling a straight face while walking to Wu's office.

Knock knock knock!

He knocked thrice.

Then three consecutive bangs responded from inside.

Shuai was dumbfounded, he just pushed the door open and went in.

Then he was taken aback by the scene in the office.

There were balloons on the wall everywhere, some of them were still inflated, some of them had burst, boxes of needles were thrown all over the place, the needles could be seen in every inch of the room.

Wu was flicking his wrist towards a board, he doesn't aim to pierce through glass anymore, he just hoped that he could at least pierce through the board and puncture the balloons.

'I say...what are you doing?'

After hearing Shuai's voice, Wu happily turned around, once he saw Shuai he was totally petrified.

Shuai's outfit was so chic, vintage glasses with black frames, yellow locks, with an addition of a suit and sporty leather shoes, Shuai's outfit has blinded Wu.

'What the hell, what are you doing?'

Wu pulled Shuai towards him, he turned Shuai a few rounds while studying him.

'I'm trying to seduce some guys!' Shuai said laughingly.

Wu twirled his finger in Shuai's hair and asked, 'What for?'

'For fun,' Shuai said, 'Now that there's more helpers in the clinic, I have a lot of free time, why not find some boys? Few days ago I met a boy in the bar, he just turned 16, his skin was so supple I can almost squeeze out water from his cheeks.'

Wu snickered, 'If you managed to squeeze out a drop of water, Guo is going to squeeze out blood from your cheeks.'

'Don't!' Shuai said casually, 'He's very busy playing the third role now, he doesn't even have any free time.'

Wu kept quiet.

Shuai realized, in the past whenever he mentioned Chi and Guo in front of Wu, Wu would always tell him off. Now that he mentioned it again in front of Wu, Wu acted as if he has nothing to say about it.

Don't tell me he finally agreed to this theory?

'Hey, did you finally see something?' Shuai asked.

Wu curled his fingers, indicating Shuai to follow him to his desk, he placed the disk in and played the clip that he saw that day to Shuai.

'I didn't see Guo in here!' Shuai was puzzled.

Wu didn't reply him and waited for him to watch till the end, he wanted Shuai to listen what Chi said in the end.

Shuai's expression changed after hearing that.

'As I've suspected,' Shuai slammed on the desk angrily, 'These two definitely have something going on.'

Wu then told some snippets of the clips that he watched to Shuai, the duo then abandoned every personal reasons behind and started analyzing this situation.

'I feel like the chances of Chi liking Guo is higher...' Wu said, 'From these clips, I didn't feel that Guo had any ulterior thoughts about Chi. If you like your best friend, will you be able to film him with his lover all the time?'

'This is possible if we're talking about Guo,' Shuai mumbled, 'He's a weirdo, he can do anything.'

Wu totally ignored Shuai's comment, 'How many times have you interacted with him, do you really know him that well? We two didn't even sleep together before, why are you so sure?'

'Who said we haven't slept together before?' Shuai said furiously. 

Wu immediately leaned closer to Shuai, 'When did you guys do it? Is Guo's thing big? How many times did you guys do?...'

Shuai glanced over to him, 'We can talk about this later, let's talk about something more serious.'

'No!' Wu was anxious, 'I want to hear it! Why did you say it...'

'Wang Shuo!'

Two words, the passion of Wu has dissipated.

Shuai continued, 'I feel like when Shuo and Chi broke up, Guo must have something to do with it. It's either that Guo slept with Shuo on purpose, to make him break up with Chi. Or Shuo just created this drama on his own, making Guo and Chi's relationship go bad, there're only these two possibility.'

Wu immediately placed his bet, 'It's definitely something like the latter.'

'There's no proof!' Shuai sighed. 'You're making assumption based on what you saw in the clips, there's no hard evidence. Even if you had strong reasoning, if Shuo doesn't admit it himself there's nothing you can do too! What if he was seriously affected from that and slept with Guo in a fit of anger?'

'There's no point in finding the reason,' Wu said with gleaming eyes, 'I just care about the results.'

'What do you think?' Shuai asked.

Wu said definitely, 'They didn't do it.'

'So?' Shuai asked again.

Wu was all burned up, 'So  I have to investigate everything clearly and prove Guo's innocence.'

'Don't forget about this,' Shuai reminded, 'If you prove his innocence, you're just restoring Chi's and Guo's relationship.'

'I know,' Wu said firmly, 'I'm also trying to prove Shuo's innocence, after looking through the clips, I found that Shuo was serious towards Chi, I don't think he would do anything like that to Chi.'

'Shuo isn't a good person,'  Shuai said, 'Have you heard of a story about a farmer and a snake? Shuo is like the snake, you treated him well but he might not repay your kindness, he might bite you in return.'

Wu simply said, 'I wouldn't let him bite me like that.'

Shuai didn't say anything more.

The room has fallen into death silence, just when the air is dying down, suddenly a balloon popped.

Shuai's attention was averted.

'What are you doing? You're practicing popping balloons? So you can win prizes at festivals?'

Wu smirked, 'What makes you think like that?'

Shuai chortled, 'If not what for?'

Wu told Shuai that day when he met his idol, and what see witnessed, he also subtly expressed his admiration for Lian in between his words. Shuai cleared his throat, 'Are you sure he's human Why do I think he's Iron Man?'

'What are you talking about?' Wu was offended by that statement, 'If only you saw him in person, you would know what I'm saying. You have no idea how cool he is! Anyway, words aren't enough to describe him, just by thinking about it, I have an urge to reincarnate again.'

Shuai poked on Wu's chest and asked, 'You're fluttering?'

Wu laid on the desk and said happily, 'Maybe.'

'You're not serious are you?'

Wu just smiled.

'I say, don't do anything stupid, if Chi knew about this you're a dead meat!'

'Or maybe before I'm a dead meat he doesn't want me anymore,' Wu poked his desk with the needles, 'I'm just providing him an idea, so that he wouldn't have any reason not to kick me out later.'

Shuai felt heartache for him suddenly.

'I feel that Chi's feelings for you aren't necessarily fake, I still remember when you were bitten by the snakes, what Chi has told you really touched me until now.'

'I wasn't fake at first,' Wu said, 'His words to me could even move you, what he said to other people would make me feel touched as well. He isn't fake to anyone, but who is the realest, only he knew.'

Not long after Shuai has  left, Chi came to Wu's office.

Wu was still popping balloons in his office, the popping sound could be hear from downstairs.

The secretary was just walking down from the second floor, she greeted when she saw Chi.

Chi called hr, 'Where's your manager?'

'In his office.'

'What's he's doing?' Chi asked.

The secretary was hesitating whether to say or not, because Wu has instructed her to not tell Chi that he's practicing his trick if Chi ever asks.

Chi has already figured most of it by himself, he just walked straight upstairs.

At this moment a figure was dashing up the stairs to Wu's office, passing by Chi with great speed.

Chi strode forward and grabbed the messenger by the collar, then threw him aside to the stairs.

Then, he quietly opened the office's door.

Wu was really into it, his eyes were all on the balloon, he didn't even sense someone's behind him.

Chi immediately ripped his tie down, his hand were on Wu's neck and blindfolded Wu with the tie. Then he pulled down the sofa cover and wrapped Wu in it, he tied it up with a belt and carried him out.

The whole process was less than 3 minutes.

No one knew Wu was being carried away, they just thought that Chi was here to collect his goods.

Chi has already threw Wu into the car, Wu then started screaming.

'Who...who are you? Why are you kidnapping me?'

Wu didn't say anything, he started the engine with a black face.

Once Wu heard the engine starting, he started panicking.

'I tell you, you can kill me or anything you want, but you must never touch the money in my company! If you wish to get some money from my company, dream on!'

Chi really want to murder this bastard who rather let people rape him than giving up on his money,

After a moment of silence, Wu then spoke up again.

'Bro, why am I finding your breathing a little familiar?'

Chi kept quiet.

Wu asked, 'Bro, are you from Chi's family?'

Chi still didn't reply.

'No..' Wu asked again, 'Then what's your surname?'

Chi finally spoke.

'But.'

There's such surname? Wu asked again, 'What's your name?'

'Cher.' (i didn't know how else to translate this haha)
