The weather has turned cold because of strong winds, Shuai's clinic also has been flooding with patients, he has been busy for the whole morning, just as he was about to sit down and have a glass of water, a voice popped up behind him.

'Doctor Jiang.'

Shuai immediately placed his glass down, then responded habitually, 'Hey, what's wrong...'

After looking at the person behind him, he couldn't help but grit his teeth. Shuai scanned the person's entire outfit, he was wearing a neatly ironed suit, his collar is ironed to perfection, his hair is well trimmed...then Shuai when to shake his hand and smiled mockingly, 'Welcome Manager Wu, welcome!'

Wu laughed out light-heartedly, then he pinched Shuai's cheeks jokingly.

'What brings you here?' Shuai asked.

Wu pointed outside of the clinic and said, 'There's a construction at Street 48, they're the traffic lights into LED lights, our company is in charge of it. My workers are here to measure the fittings, I'm here to take a look at their progress, then I dropped by to say hello.'

Shuai poked Wu's abdomen laughingly, 'You're really something, you can work for the government.'

Wu said proudly, 'This is the fruit of our whole company's labor.'

Shuai snickered, 'Isn't it Mr. Chi's effort?'

'Who said that?' Wu denied, 'He doesn't work for the traffic department now, he has been shifted to the finance department.'

'What's the point to stay in the traffic department? The finance department has more outlook. He must've waited until now just for this project of yours. He wanted to plan out your company's future, then he went to the finance department to get a position so that he can provide your company the best policy. He must be planning, isn't he?'

Wu scoffed, 'You think too highly of me, he can switch to any department anytime, why would he think so much? If he really were to plan it wouldn't be for my sake, it must've been for the bunch of snakes, I reckon he has finally got the hang of it, without a proper job or position, he can't make a happy place for his beloved sons.'

Shuai grinned, 'Someone's jealous.'

Wu scowled, 'What? I will be so happy if he went to see his sons every day, it's best if he sleeps there, it would irritate me less.'

'Oh, yeah,' Shuai suddenly thought of something, 'Did you confess to him yet?'

Now he mentioned it, sorrow crept onto Wu's face.

'I was about to say it, but then he gave me a very strong drug, I lost it before I could say it. After that, I thought I would just let it be, I'll just destroy everything about me and Yue Yue's past. Chi and I have very different social circles, our friends are very different from one another, no one will ever say anything in front of him.'

'What about Yue Yue?' Shuai reminded, 'What if she wants to take revenge on you?'

Wu shook his head, 'No, she must've thought that Chi knew about it long ago, he wanted to help me get back to her. Just like how I thought Chi knew about us in the past.'

Shuai thought that made sense too, 'If you can conceal it, then there's no point in taking the risk,  just till your relationship have strengthened, who knows when he's going to talk about this topic, you can tell him then.'

'I think so too.'

Another patient visited the clinic, Shuai went to attend the patient while Wu sat aside sipping his water, he studied Shuai closely and he realized that Shuai has lost some weight. He wore the white rode during summer and it has a rather slimming effect, but now it's winter, Shuai wore more clothes but his robe looks too big on him.

After prescribing the medicine to his patient, Shuai sat back in his chair again.

Wu asked him, 'What's going on with you and Guo?'

'Nothing special,' Shuai simply replied.

Wu was rather anxious, 'Are you still thinking that Guo likes Chi?'

'We hardly ever chat now, why must we talk such things?' Shuai averted his curious gaze on Wu, 'Let's talk about your blissful life.'

Wu's face crumpled together, 'When is my life blissful?'

'You have a huge company, there's a rich guardian angel, you don't lack money, you don't lack love, what else do you want?'

Wu said, 'I want a wife.'

Shuai burst into laughter, 'Forget it! I think you don't even know how to deal with a wife now! That thing of yours, have forgotten how it felt, it must've rusted by now right?'

Mr. Wu, who looked calm and composed when he stepped into the clinic, flared up in anger after hearing this.

'Who said that? My thing is super energetic! I've been working out recently, I'm planning to take down Chi as soon as possible,' he announced.

Shuai doesn't want to crumble Wu's confidence any further, so he just laughed it off.

They were chatting away, then an unidentified number dialed Wu's phone, as expected, it's Chi.

'I'm doing business outside, my line was being cut off, help me top up my credit.'

Hanging up the conversation, Wu looks pissed off.

Shuai asked, 'What's wrong?'

'Do you think he's doing it on purpose? He hasn't gone out for long and his line has already been cut, he doesn't even take a single cent out, he's always telling me to top up his credit for him, he's playing tricks to get money from me.'

Shuai grinned, 'How much does his phone credit costs? You're a manager, your monthly paid is six digits, you're fretting over such small sums? Plus, Chi is your person, do you need to draw the line so clearly?'

Now that he mentioned this, Wu got angrier.

'We weren't like this when we first started out, then slowly I find myself in disadvantage, so I thought I can't continue like this. Just take buying meals for an example, when it's his turn to buy, he just ate a few mouthful, when it's my turn, he kept asking for more.'

'And last month, he didn't tell me that he used up all my mobile data, then I exceeded my monthly quote, in the end, I had to pay extra.'

'Pft....' The water in Shuai's mouth spattered all around, 'You're being such a petty over such small sum of data?'

Wu was fed up, 'It wasn't about the data, it's the problem in his attitude. He obviously did it on purposely! When he's at home, he knew that his phone credit is running low, he didn't want to top up himself, he then let me pay for him when he burst his quota. He would always bring his wallet out, but when it's time for him to top up his credit he would leave the house empty-handed.'

As Wu's teacher, after hearing Wu's cry and complains, he didn't feel a single bit of sympathy, but rather he feels delighted.

Wu added, 'Last month, he bought me a pair of undergarment, I didn't buy him anything, then he goes again. This month he has been showing me that fleece sweater of his, he claimed that it shrunk, then said the thread is getting loose. Actually, that material is really good, the length was just right, he's just trying to force me to pay for another sweater.'

Shuai thought that if someone else did the same thing, it would just annoy the hell of him, but it comes to Chi this sounds very cute to him. Why is it so?

'So are you buying him another one?' Shuai probed.

Wu exclaimed, 'No, screw him!'

Shuai smiled again, 'Just top his phone credit up then? What if he got kidnapped out there, where are you going to find him?'

'Fine by me!'

Although he said that, he still told Shuai to top up for Chi.

'How much?' Shuai asked.

Wu lifted his chin, 'How much does he owe?'

Shuai checked Chi's account, he owed $29.30.

Wu said without even thinking, 'Top up $30 for him.'

Shuai almost choked, 'Just $30? The balance is just 70 cents, you can only send a few messages!'

Wu thought about it, 'Then add another $4.90.'

Shuai almost fell down from the chair, 'I say...why do you have to be so calculative? If you refuse to top up $100 or $200 for him, at least make it a whole number? Maybe not $10, $5?'

'Just $4.90,' Wu made himself clear.

Wu doesn't get it, 'Why must you top up this amount?'

'Outgoing calls cost 10 cents per minute, incoming calls are free, he never sends messages, we always call each other. We would chat for at most 30 minutes, 12 cents per minute, he will use at most $3.60. When he calls someone else, he will end it within one minute, $4.90 minus $3.60 and he was left with $1.30, plus the balance of 70 cents that's $2, that $2 is sufficient for him to make a business call; if he wants to chat with someone else, serves him right for getting his line cut off!'

Shuai looked at Wu with much respect, he feels that Wu is slowly turning into a god.

Coming out form Shuai's place, Wu followed his workers to another site.

They past by a mall on the way, Wu stood outside the mall for a while, then finally he went in.

Then he went straight to the men's underwear department, he took a good look, it's either too expensive or expensive. After filtering from the variety, he was left with the last shop, if there isn't anything that he likes he won't buy anything.

The salesperson asked, 'Are you buying for yourself or as a gift?'

'A gift for someone,' Wu said.

The salesperson asked, 'What are his height and weight?'

Wu thought hard about it, 'About 1.85m? 1.87m? He weighs at least a 160 pound...nevertheless he's bulky.'

The person thought about it for a while, 'This size should fit him, it's okay if it's a bit tight, such winter clothing is all highly stretchable, no matter how fat that person is he can definitely fit it.'

Wu can't make up his mind, then he asked another question.

'If it doesn't fit, can I refund this?'

The salesperson said apologetically, 'I'm sorry, discounted products can't be refunded, if there's something with the material, you can bring back to fix it.'

'If that's the case...'

Wu hesitated for a while, he can't resist the price so he bought it in the end.
