Therefore, after using the ability for three consecutive times, he felt exhausted. However, he did not stop punching Butcher’s head. At last, the bear-like man could not withstand the continuous attack, as he then collapsed to the ground.

Zhou Qingfeng swiftly pulled the pistol out of his combat boot and pointed it at Butcher’s head. He told him fiercely, “Any last words?”

“Are you going to kill me?” Butcher gasped.

“What do you think?” Zhou Qingfeng’s face looked ruthless.

Butcher was not afraid at all when faced with the muzzle. Instead, he laughed coolly, “He he he, although I’ve been defeated, I still want to say that you’re just a rookie who doesn’t know anything at all.”

A gunshot was heard. Butcher collapsed to the ground, his eyes glazing over. But after a long while, he suddenly recovered. He then looked at Zhou Qingfeng in amazement.

Zhou Qingfeng’s muzzle was pointing another way. The person of color who tried hard to prove his value just a few moments ago was now twitching on the ground. Judging by his actions, he obviously planned to snatch the gun when Zhou Qingfeng was busy fighting with Butcher.

“F*ck! How could I be stunned by a gunshot?!” Butcher sat up, looking like he was going to curse again. However, Zhou Qingfeng turned his head around and glanced at him. The bear-like man’s body obtained a mass of bruises after being attacked. He hence raised his hands and said, “Alright, you’re no rookie. I surrender; I don’t want to die yet.”

After watching Butcher finally yield, Zhou Qingfeng put his gun away. He said in a low tone, “Watch your mouth, or I’ll kill you if you dare provoke me again.”

“OK, OK, we’re partners now. We simply shouldn’t provoke one another.” Butcher stood up and touched his face and his neck. He then cursed deeply, “D*mn! Victor Hugo, your power is truly extraordinary. Do you have some kind of supernatural power? Your speed is even stranger.”

Zhou Qingfeng stared at him once again. However, this time around, Butcher decided to take the initiative and slipped away. “I’ll go and gather those weapons on the floor. Our ammunition consumption was a bit too high.”

After the fight, Zhou Qingfeng was able to vent the anger inside him. He finally understood why Katrina and Butcher were both so cocky. Those kinds of lawless people would only obey a strong person. There was no way they would respect a weakling.

The best way to earn their respect was to fight with them. Just like during yesterday’s incident in Babylon’s Smartlab, Katrina proved that she would only talk to someone nicely if they were able to relentlessly beat her up.

Zhou Qingfeng finally settled his issue with Butcher. The remaining six male and seven female workers were all staring at Zhou Qingfeng. He got hit by the bear-like man several times too. He would have collapsed long ago if it weren’t for his enhanced body.

“What are you guys looking at?” Zhou Qingfeng glanced coldly at the thirteen individuals in front of him. “Listen up. I’m not a good guy; I’m a mobster, too. From now on, you’re my subordinates. You guys will have to work for me.”

Subordinates? Work? The remaining people never would have thought that they would be debased so low. They felt agitated with their fates. The mad female worker jumped out once again after hearing that she will be losing her freedom. Her face twitched as she screamed, “Can't you just let us leave?! You’re a pervert, you’re a bastard, and you have no right to captivate us.”

The girl who talked too much got kicked away by Zhou Qingfeng! Meanwhile, the others retreated in fear. They were to afraid to look into his eyes because of his merciless violence. Some of them even wet their pants in their fright.

“You! I’m talking to you. From now on, you’ll be the captain of our Search Team Division Three. Your first task will be to gather all the valuable items inside this shop.” Zhou Qingfeng pointed at Nancy Stephanie.

“Me?” Nancy was extremely afraid of Zhou Qingfeng. She immediately regretted escaping from the clubhouse, as she had gone through several horrible things just in that morning. She would have definitely stayed in the clubhouse if she had known she would experience those earlier.

“Hurry up, or I’ll get rid of the lazy people.” No one dared to dilly-dally after what Zhou Qingfeng had said. They were highly efficient even as they cried while picking up the valuable items.

Butcher had gathered over thirty guns, both long-barrelled and short-barrelled, as well as a large amount of ammunition. He turned around and witnessed Zhou Qingfeng ordering the others to collect jewelry. He then asked Zhou Qingfeng, “What’s the jewelry for?”

Zhou Qingfeng left the clubhouse in the morning and returned in the afternoon. Lena Fox realized that there were bruises on both their faces. Baffled at the sight, she asked, “What happened?”

Zhou Qingfeng remained silent, while Butcher replied, “It seems that this kid doesn’t like being mocked. So we fought to decide who of us is right.”

“Who won?”

“He did, but it’s quite unbelievable.”

Lena Fox smiled inexplicably when she saw Butcher sigh in frustration. “Wonderful! It’s great to see you guys making the effort to understand each other more.”

However, while some were happy, others were sad. The other nurses cried out in surprise as they watched Nancy Stephanie return, along with a dozen other individuals.

“Oh my God! Nancy got captured again.”

“How awful. She must’ve been tortured.”

“I knew it! There’s no way she could escape out of this place. Luckily, we didn’t follow her.”

After returning from the battlefield, Nancy felt ashamed when she saw her former colleagues once again. She could only hide behind her new team and pretend that nothing had happened.

Search Team Third Division was arranged to live on a single floor of the clubhouse. Everyone on the team felt frightened. As the captain of the Search Team Third Division, Nancy was allocated alone in a small room. When she walked into the bathroom, she saw a disgustingly dirty lady looking back at her in the mirror.

Nancy took off her clothes. She stood under the showerhead and cleaned her hourglass figure. She burst into tears as she watched all the muddy water dripping down her body. She was a gorgeous lady, and hence she could not stand her current appearance.

The beginning of the cataclysm had only transpired within the day, but the world was already about to collapse. At that instance, a lot of people in the clubhouse were contemplating their futures. They could not see even a glimpse of hope in the current society, and hugging each other was the only thing they could do for now.

However, Zhou Qingfeng could not spare any extra time comforting another person. He soon had to face another big issue—the lower class, as well as tons of illegal immigrants had started to react.
