Chapter 252        War Prep

Nassau, shipyard port.

As the ruler of this place, Santos was staring at a ship that was currently being repaired. It was not easy for him to gather more than hundred of ship repair workers. They were repairing the damaged turrets and the boat deck of the frigate.

"Hey, father, guess what I did today?" A skinny and tall young man excitedly ran over to Santos and hugged him.

As soon as Santo saw this young man, he smiled and said joyfully, "I've heard about it, you found two of the enemies' ships, destroyed their airport, and got one of their air scouts. Quino, well done. I'm so proud of you."

The young Quino appeared a little shy when his father praised him, "Actually it was just a normal passenger aircraft Cessna, a piece of cake. It's a shame that we don't have more planes or more advanced planes. Otherwise, we could rule the entire Caribbean."

"The day will come." Santos patted his shoulder, "That Polarlys came in just time. I never thought I would able to see it and they are not escaping. I'll get that ship. We definitely can beat the others and become the strongest force in the Caribbean."

Their conversation was very passionate. Meanwhile, Zhou Qingfeng was in a bad mood as he was the one being saved. There were two HH-60H rescue helicopters on Polarlys. Due to the fact that they had large fuel consumptions, they were kept in storage. However, both of them were out when they received the rescue request from Zhou Qingfeng.

Fortunately, the seawater in the Caribbean was warm and Zhou Qingfeng would not have to worry about dying from frostbite. After spending around half an hour in the water, he was saved by the helicopter. In the captain's cabin, Butcher laughed at him. "How does it feel to be hit by someone and fall into the water?"

"Well, it's better than getting hit by a nuclear bomb." Zhou Qingfeng carried the towel over, dried his face, and said, "Only, they have warship. Even their little plans were armed."

Butcher continued, "Before that plant shot you down, it attacked Mars airport too. It destroyed two small planes and killed one of our men. Also, he found the locations of our ships. We weren't paying attention because I thought that was one of our men. It's a shame that we didn't get him down with our air defense missile."

"Are you saying that the enemy could come for us at any time?"

"That's right. Even though we've moved, we can't predict their moves."

"I hate this feeling of being suppressed, we need to gather more forces to fight back."

When Zhou Qingfeng returned to the Polarlys, he gathered everyone to discuss the ways on how to deal with the pirates. "This General Santos isn't very strong, but we're even worse. We need to be able to battle both in the air and the sea. Otherwise, we can't do anything to them."

Zhou Qingfeng looked in the direction where the sound had come from and saw Doctor Rezzo who invented DogMeat. It was such a waste for a mechanical and electronic dual degree doctor to just do maintenance on DogMeat.

"We could get a large speedboat and put a tank on it."

"Tank…., do we have a tank?" Zhou Qingfeng was surprised, "I don't remember us having tanks."

Meanwhile, Butcher cleared his throat, scratched his head, and said, "Actually, we have one. I saw that there was a lot of space on the 'Bird-of-Paradise' and I ordered the logistics team to chuck an M1A3 Abrams in there."

"You know how to use it?" Zhou Qingfeng stared at Butcher.

Butcher was not pleased with that doubtful question, "Hey, it has been almost a month since we've been out of New York. Mox and I were trying to handle this tank. It uses automatic reloader so we don't need an extra person for the reload. If it's on the deck of a ship, we wouldn't even need the driver. We only need a captain and a gunner."

Butcher pulled Mox over and put his hand around his shoulder, "If it's just controlling and firing the cannon, we'll for sure be able to handle it."

Zhou Qingfeng asked again, "Can both of you fit into the tank? You guys are huge."

That was actually an issue. Both Butcher and Mox were burly. Butcher replied, "Uhh… we'd just need to squeeze a little."

"The problem is, the tank is going to be on the unstable speedboat. The firing range is only within five kilometers and it's not even accurate. The enemies' cannon could easily hit a target from fifteen kilometers away." Zhou Qingfeng still thought that it was not going to work.

"The M1A3 is equipped with a laser-guided cannon, it has almost hundred percent accuracy as long as it's within five kilometers." Butcher thought it was worth trying. "The key thing is that the boat won't be stable. The laser-guided radiator needs to be carried by drones. Otherwise, it won't be accurate and we gotta make sure that the enemy doesn't shoot them down."

When everyone started looking at Zhou Qingfeng again, he shouted, "Hey, why are you guys looking at me? I just got hit by them, and you're trying to get me up there again to get hit? Also, we don't have a suitable ship to carry that tank weight that's more than seventy tons."

"Fortunately, we have one." Lena Fox continued, "Today, some people from Miami came to submit to us. They have a large U.S coastal patrol boat with enough space on the deck to fit a tank. Once it's pumped with fuel, there will be no problems."

The ferocious lady, Katrina, giggled and said, "Victor, I can go with you. I supposed we don't have time to install a machine gun on the plane, but I can drive the plane and you'll bring the air defense missile up there. What do you think?"

Zhou Qingfeng started imagining it. He thought of the ferocious lady driving the plane dangerously in the sky while he opened the plane door and held the 'Poison sting'. The scene was so horrible and Zhou Qingfeng did not dare to even think about it!

"Are you really confident about your skill?" Zhou Qingfeng was worried. He thought he was already brave, but sometimes the ferocious lady was even crazier than him!

Katrina looked at Zhou Qingfeng with her disdainful eyes, "Victor, you're totally underestimating a British lady. I've been militarily trained by my father since I was little. I can handle something as small as a toy plane and something as big as an aircraft. Believe me, I'm so much better than you, rookie."

Zhou Qingfeng was speechless; he had no choice. If they wanted to survive in the Caribbean, they would need a great port. Mars port was too small. Nassau port which had the shipyard and deepwater pier was the best choice.
