“Victor, I'm at Newport News. This is an industrial city. The people here are mostly workers and belong to the middle class. Even without a government, the people adapt to life after the cataclysm very quickly. This is so much better than the huge New York city.”

“The people were worried when they heard that the 'Kennedy' was stuck at Guantanamo, they are willing to help us. Of course, it will not be easy. I'm here waiting for Bird-of-Paradise, I believe the huge amount of resources would allow more people to join us.”

“Also, the people here tell me to remind you that the aircraft carrier won't be traveling alone. Kennedy has a huge aircraft carrier battle group. Since you've found it, the people out there might have found the other ships of the battle group. They should be around the Caribbean sea.”

Lena Fox sent a greeting video from Newport News at night when Zhou Qingfeng arrived at Kennedy. Lena said it was a smooth trip but looking at her messy hair and her fake, forced smile, Zhou Qingfeng knew they had a tough journey.

After all, nobody would help you unconditionally, especially after the cataclysm. Behind Lena, Zhou Qingfeng saw Butcher at the back with half of his hideous face exposed in the video. Half of his head was covered in bandages; it seemed like they have gone through a little trouble there.

“Lena, everything here is good too.”

Zhou Qingfeng was filming the video for Lena in the captain's cabin of Kennedy. It was the largest and best cabin on the ship. The other places only have simple beds like the one on the train; even the cabins for officers only have thicker blankets.

“Kennedy is under our control at the moment and I'm trying to get the three thousand people from Guantanamo on this ship. Everyone is good at the moment and things are going according to plan.”

“Our people at Abaco Island are doing their job. The management team you formed is doing a great job. Around half of the people came from Abaco Island to help me handle the three thousand people here. At the same time, they were sending the people who weren't suitable to stay, away, like the people who were old or injured.”

“Unfortunately, our fuel and capacities are limited, we can't send all of them with planes, most of them are leaving with ships. However, the seas around Cuba were controlled by all sorts of pirates and warlords of the Caribbean, so that's a problem we would have to think about.”

“I hope that everything is fine there. Remember, no matter what, you have to leave Newport News after twelve days.”

After recording the video, Zhou Qingfeng sent it to Lena through satellite. Meanwhile, his assistant, Raymond knocked on the door and came in, “Mr. Hugo, the staff analysis is complete. We've found a few experienced sailors but there's no one who knows how to drive this aircraft carrier.”

“Right now, Miss Riven is gathering the old soldiers and the shipbuilders who used to work on an aircraft carrier. She had agreed with the Cubans who controlled Miami. We're able to use Miami International Airport for transportation. Even though it'd be efficient for us, our fuel will run out very soon.”

Raymond was the actuary who was good at making false accounts; he was talented in management. Lena left him to assist Zhou Qingfeng on purpose. Right after Zhou Qingfeng took control of the aircraft carrier, he ordered Katrina to bring the management team over to the ship. Zhou Qingfeng would not be able to handle those three thousand people without his management team.

“Fuel, fuel, fuel.”

It was already November and winter was already around the corner. The entire Northern Hemisphere was lacking fuel and Zhou Qingfeng was experiencing the same issue. “Why does that pirate, Santos never run out of fuel?”

“According to the analysis from the wireless communication, there were more than thousands of armed forces in the entire Caribbean sea; there were around a hundred in Cuba alone. After around three months of integration, these forces gradually grouped up and formed alliances and organizations.”

“Santos belonged to this organization called the 'National Liberation Front of Cuba'. This organization controls an oil refinery in Havana and several offshore oil rigs. Based on our knowledge, it has been relying on fuel sales and they have been doing really great since the cataclysm. They are the strongest force in Cuba.”

“On the other hand, there's this warlord named Federo who occupied the Guantanamo military base. He's belonged to the organization called 'San Diego Military Alliance'. It seems like this alliance was trying to make south Cuba independent.”

Havana was approximately a few hundred kilometers away from Guantanamo. It was considered as quite a close distance before the cataclysm. However, the situation was now completely different as day and night. Hence, it was now best for them to make contact with Federo, as he was much closer to them.

“So, that Mr. Federo is trying to pick a fight with the Nation Liberation Front of Cuba in the north?”

“That's right.”

“What does he need?”

“I'm afraid he's in the same situation as us, everything.”

“What about the things he has?”

“Uh…., Guantanamo produced a lot of sucrose, coffee, and cocoa. The agricultural products processing industry is pretty good but the other industrial products are close to zero.”

“Does Mr. Federo lack weapons?”

“I don't think they are worried about light weapons. Well, there's the Guantanamo military base. But, I'm afraid they really need heavy weapons.”

Meanwhile, Zhou Qingfeng and Raymond started to brainstorm. There were more than seventy aircraft, the F-35C Lightning II, and all sorts of expensive, advanced ammunition in the hangars of Kennedy. However, the problem was, they had no idea how to use them.

Other than the weapons on the aircraft carrier, they could only take the weapons from Polarlys. However, there really were not any good heavy weapons on Polarlys!

Wait a minute... There's still something I could give him - the main battle tank M1A3, 'Abrams', that Butcher and Mox used. This battle tank did a great job during the battle with Santos, and if I'm not mistaken, it's currently stored at Marsh Harbor.

The seventy-ton tank looked mighty but it was not easy to use; Zhou Qingfeng did not really like this tank.

When Raymond heard that Zhou Qingfeng was going to give Abrams away, he softly reminded him, “Mr. Hugo, we only have one Abrams.”

“Well, Federo knows nothing about it. I can just tell him that we have hundreds of 'Abrams'. And right now, I'm just trying to get the power to go through Cuba and Bahamas freely. I believe that Mr. Federo will be interested.”

As Zhou Qingfeng spoke, he raised his hands and shouted, “We should form a class-A lying…., no no, a 'marketing' team. And talk to Mr. Federo about some firearm trades.”
