Feng Wan was not only unhappy because Zhou Qingfeng was cold to her, she was embarrassed in front of her ex-husband. Her breasts heaved as she breathed heavily from anger. Feng Wan did not expect Xu Rong to be crying on the other side of the phone, “Sister Wan, are you with Zhou Qingfeng now?”

“Ah….?”

“Sister Wan, don’t hang up the phone. I just want to tell Zhou Qingfeng something. I think I won’t be able to sleep if I don’t tell him what I’m thinking. I can’t keep it in anymore.”

“Qingfeng, I like you! That’s right, I fell in love with you at first sight. All I think about is you after I’ve returned to my hostel. I really like you; I can’t live without you.”

Xu Rong was breathing heavily once she was done talking like she was waiting for the result of her death sentence. Feng Wan, on the other side of the call, was astonished. That being said, she responded in time as she was more mature, “Sister Rong,…..”

“Waah….” Xu Rong started to wail once she heard that it was not Zhou Qingfeng. “He didn’t want to talk to me? Can’t he spare a little love for me? I just want a smile from him. I wouldn’t mind meeting him once a month.”

“Sister Rong, you’re misunderstanding. Qingfeng isn’t here.”

“What…?”

There was a pause. Xu Rong held her phone, astonished. Her mind went blank. After a while, she recovered from her astonishment and felt her cheeks burn. She felt extremely ashamed.

Oh gosh! What have I done? I didn’t even know what was going on and I just simply rushed in to confess and beg for his love. I’m a shameless b*tch. The point is, Sister Wan heard it instead of Qingfeng.

Damn it, damn it, damn it! Maybe Qingfeng is busy and wasn’t able to pick up the phone, while I’m here thinking about nonsense. I even made such terrible mistake. Kill me!

How should I face Sister Wan? She’s going to laugh at me, I’m pretty sure of that. I’m out of chances now. I’ll be a joke.

“Sister Wan, you……” Xu Rong spoke softly on the phone. She was already calm and just thinking about her huge mistake.

Feng Wan heaved a sigh of relief as Zhou Qingfeng was not with the little girl, Xu Rong. She thought that he might really have an emergency and it was not convenient for him to talk.

She was indeed just scaring herself; she almost lost her confidence!

Feng Wan sighed and said, “Alright, I’ll pretend that I didn’t hear what you said just now. Tell him yourself when you have the time.”

“Ohh…” Xu Rong replied. She asked softly, “Sister Wan, are you going to be my rival in love?”

“Hmm….”

Again, Feng Wan heaved a long sigh. But, she said firmly, “I’m very satisfied with Qingfeng. I won’t give up so easily. I think there’s a chance of that happening.”

“Ohh…..” Xu Rong was still a little depressed. “See you then.”

“Wait…..” Feng Wan had a question in mind, “You said that Qingfeng is in a movie?”

Xu Rong said, “Yeah, he’s actually an actor. Didn’t you know that? In fact, I just became aware of it just a few moments ago.”

“What movie is that?”

“It’s an action movie called, ‘Wasteland’. It’s about killing and fighting, but it’s kinda nice. Qingfeng is the main character, he was so cool in the movie. It went crazy on the internet. Everyone’s looking for him. I think we should keep it a secret.”

Movie?

After they hung up, Feng Wan was even more confused. She immediately searched for the Wasteland on the internet. The moment she saw the poster of the movie on the website, she instantly recognized Zhou Qingfeng.

Oh my! He’s really an actor!

As Feng Wan watched the movie, she felt more and more surprised. She was wondering why the main character in such a big movie would stay in this small city and label himself unemployed. Initially, she was confused, but now, the confusion was turning into a mystery.

A few days after the movie’s release, the questions about Wasteland and its actors had already reached an all-time high. All sorts of comments and guesses were coming from the internet. However, nobody could understand the secret that lied within.

In fact, two days ago, the official website of the movie published a notice. It said that copies of the movie in 3D and HD were now published on the website. They authorized any cinema in the world to play it for commercial and business purposes.

The whole world was excited right after that notice was published!

That meant that they could use the high-budget movie to earn money without paying anything. It definitely would be more effective than just posting the movie on the internet. Immediately, it was reported on the news: ‘This is the growth of a new movie company. The reason behind their huge investment was to fight against Hollywood in the United States and to be famous all around the world.’

However, for Feng Wan, that was not as shocking as the poster of Zhou Qingfeng. After she watched the movie and read the comments, she was completely stunned in her room!
