The half-charred wall of New York Town Hall was being repainted. However, due to the lack of materials and labor, the brushed walls were rather varied and uncoordinated.

Meanwhile, in the town hall square, the construction of the high platform had already been completed and several huge flags were being set up. However, no one seemed to know what the strange pictures on the flag meant.

Los Zetas marched out from his mayor’s office with his lover and two children. When he saw the chaotic scene in the square, his heart somehow beat with a sense of ambition, “My children, from today onwards, this is where our kingdom lies. Our empire will run much smoother without Victor Hugo.”

“Who’s Victor Hugo?” Some kids asked him.”

“Ugh… he’s just a nuisance. Let’s not bother about him,” Los Zetas did not want to talk about the guy who caused so much trouble for him. He then waved at the other side and said with a laugh, “Guzman, my Secretary of Defense, I think our ceremony can officially begin now.”

When a man attains the Tao, even his pets ascend to heaven. All of them, however, had ascended to heaven without their leader truly attaining the Tao. Los Zetas first started his ‘career’ in Mexico. He used to collaborate with the cops to conduct drug-trafficking, but every one of his subordinates had now been promoted. Rumor had it that Los Zetas suffered a headache last night to promote them appropriately.

Meanwhile, at the top of St. Paul's Church, Nieto, too, was notified through the wireless radio that he was now officially the leader of a subgroup and his title was, ‘Sergeant’. His team was made up of the previous ten men, no…… it should be nine men and a corpse.

Los Zetas was already standing on the high platform while he delivered his inaugural speech with a megaphone. All of a sudden, Nieto saw the weird, speedy dog once more. It was rushing through the park in front of the square and running quickly towards St. Paul's church.

“Ko……” Nieto wanted to alert Koval once again but he did not in the end. He really did not know how to describe what he had just seen. Perhaps it really was just a dog that was running around and looking for food, and there was nothing too special about it.

Meanwhile, Zhou Qingfeng and the others were all set in the underground parking lot of the NYPD headquarters. Fifty of them each had a vehicle of their own. They even got themselves five heavy-duty MRAP armored vehicles, twenty standard Dodge Chargers, and the remaining vehicles that were filled with all types of equipment.

The whole team was led by the MRAP armored vehicle. David Lawrence was responsible for leading the team and returning to Lena Fox’s clubhouse, while Katrina will send someone over to support them. If there were any barricades that blocked their path, they could use the armored vehicle directly to open up their path. The eighteen-ton vehicle made it simply indestructible.

As for Zhou Qingfeng, Butcher, and Mox, three of them will be visiting Los Zetas with their MRAPs. They even planned to send Los Zetas to their God if the situation allowed it.

Bang! Bang! Bang! Zhou Qingfeng stayed on the machine gun tower of the leading vehicle. He was wearing a pair of goggles and adjusted the M249 before finally knocking on the armored deck and yelled at his driver: “We have finally reached our goal! It's time for our show now. Let's go!"

The engines roared and it pushed the heavy body of the vehicle forwards with its high horsepower. This team that wore NYPD badges rushed out of the underground parking lot of the NYPD headquarters and they were eager to see light again!

In the buildings that surrounded the NYPD headquarters, there were also dozens of armed personnel from different gangs. The gangs had camped here for almost half a month and they were exhausted from the constant stalemate. They would have run away ages ago if it were not for the deterioration outside.

However, an extremely shrill siren suddenly rang throughout the entire area. Almost everyone in Downtown Manhattan was stunned. This long-lost sound was once the embodiment of justice. It was the natural enemy of mobsters. It had long since disappeared. When everyone thought that it will no longer appear anymore, it re-appeared out of nowhere once again!

Hundreds of people from the top of the buildings that surrounded the NYPD headquarters were shocked and lost at the same time. All they saw was a majestic and mighty team rushing out from the underground parking lot of the NYPD headquarters at an aggressive momentum. It seemed like they were trying to announce to the whole world that they had returned.

“No way! Did the cops just reappear?”

“Did the cops just hide in their headquarters for half a month and are only trying to capture us now?”

“Look at that leading armored vehicle. They’ve brought out that heavy-duty equipment too. How are we supposed to deal with that?”

Everyone in Downtown Manhattan was thrilled by the sudden sirens, but there were a few of them who dared to look directly at them. All of them came from the gang that had been camping outside the NYPD headquarters for half a month and they were all fierce and cold-blooded. They decided to launch an attack on the ‘cops’ without much hesitation.

Bang! Bang! Bang! There were indeed a few bullets that landed on the accelerating armored vehicles. As the leader of the team, Zhou Qingfeng ordered his team via the wireless radio, “March forwards, don’t stop! I’ll deal with those bastards.”

The machine gun tower was rotating rapidly. Although Zhou Qingfeng could not guarantee that he would be able to hit his target from a hundred meters away due to the acceleration of the vehicle, the bullet storm of M249 was able to control the people who dared to fire!

Dhuk Dhuk Dhuk…… Two hundred rounds of ammo were fired and the previous hostile people could not even lift their heads anymore. The walls of the buildings was reduced to debris and the glass windows shattered into fragments.

Although it was difficult for Zhou Qingfeng to hit the target on a high-speed armored vehicle, it was easy for the mobsters to hear bullets flying around. Several guys who had just fired immediately felt that they were doing something wrong. They fled everywhere.

Moreover, when Zhou Qingfeng started to fire, Butcher and others, who were behind him, obviously would not let go of this chance for glory. Therefore, several machine guns began to shoot bullets. They had been suffering a week of grief. Now was the time for them to finally release their feelings.

After being bombarded with the bullet storm, the mobsters who got trapped in the building suddenly howled, "They’re not cops from NYPD. An actual cop would not open fire in such a blatant way!"

The sudden attack had boosted the morale of the entire team. Zhou Qingfeng left those mobsters behind as he continued marching forwards. However, as soon as they arrived at Kenney Street, Zhou Qingfeng yelled through the wireless radio, “Mr. Lawrence, can you please first fall back? We’ll be joining a party that’s organized by Los Zetas.”

“Hahaha…… please greet Mr. Zetas for me. I regret a little that I wasn’t able to kill him last time,” David Lawrence said while laughing.

“Hahahahaha……!” his joke caused everyone to burst into laughter too.

Zhou Qingfeng’s leading vehicle began to change directions. After being stared at strangely along the way, they fiercely crushed all the roadblocks that were set up by Zetas and broke into the town hall square.

The square was flooded with crowds that were there to only join the fun. Although the founding ceremony of the Republic of New York was not actually that interesting, rumor had it that they would distribute food after the ceremony. However, all these starving people did not even know what to do now. They could only stare at the heavy-duty tanks that broke into the town hall.

At that moment, a laugh could be heard from one of the armored vehicles, “We’re the cops from NYPD and we represent justice and fairness. Your final judgment has arrived, and all of you will have to kneel before me alone!” (To be Continued)
