Fang Ruhu’s driver parked the car outside the mistress’ district. He saw someone walk past his car, but he did not care too much about it. Due to the economic recession in Tianyang City, various criminal activities ran rampant after night fell. However, this area was considered a high-end residential area, so it was well-facilitated with security personnel and surveillance cameras.

Zhou Qingfeng followed Fang Ruhu's route to the outside of the district. He observed seven to eight cameras and the security guards of the district, and he avoided being close to them. He had no other choice but to return to the side of Fang Ruhu’s car and come up with a better plan.

Fang Ruhu’s driver was looking at his mobile phone while smoking. All of a sudden, someone came close to him and pressed a dagger under his neck. The stranger then yelled, “Hands up, give me everything you have!”

“Hands up!” a cold voice ordered from the backseat.

It was a living human instead—his eye could still move. However, there was a big hole in the neck of the human, and it looked truly horrible. Fortunately, the living human’s carotid artery was not injured, so there was still hope of rescuing him.

“Commissioner, Commissioner….” The driver instantly screamed in shock after identifying the living human who collapsed to the ground. He subconsciously linked this incident to the one he had just encountered. He felt lucky that he was left uninjured by the robber, but it seemed that the commissioner fared worse.

He dialed 120 into his phone and said, “I have a wounded person with me over here in the district. His throat was cut open with a knife. Send an ambulance to us as soon as possible! It’s the commissioner who got wounded.” The driver panicked, as the collapsed man was his boss and his patron. He would be in big trouble if the commissioner passed away.

After dialing 120, he dialed 110 as well. The cops and ambulance soon arrived. After checking the wound, the doctor felt relieved as he shouted, “Come on, put this person on a stretcher. Rest assured, he won’t die at this moment. He can still be saved with an operation.”

The ambulance swiftly departed. After the driver expressed his identity, a bunch of police officers on the scene were abusing roundly, “The social order of Tianyang City is indeed getting worse and worse. It seems that scoundrels nowadays will even dare to rob a cop!”
