It was actually a shield.  Since we came into the game, we had never seen this kind of equipment before!

Properly speaking, only swordsmen could equip shields, using it to increase their defense.  This greatly increased the swordsman's defense, making it an absolute defensive barrier in large scale battles.  Only swordsman who had changed Jobs at level 40 could equip shields.

Ling Xue quickly sent the stats of the shield into the party chat.

Everyone was shocked.  This shield already 200 defense without being identified, it would definitely be over 250 after it was appraised.  Just the defense of the shield already surpassed the Scarlet Flame Set that I was wearing.

The archer Job really wasn't a Job that had resistances.  Although it leveled quickly, when I saw these equipment with abnormal defenses, I couldn't help drooling over them.  If there was a day that my archer could have high defense equipment like this, that would be good.

The Flame Shield had a faint red magic pattern on it that looked very good.  Ling Xue held onto it like she wasn't willing to give it up as she looked up at us with a smile and said, “This shield, can you give it to me?”

Everyone nodded with smiles because this was the custom.  Not to mention that everyone here was on the same side, so no one cared that much.

After this, we looked over the two skill books.  Ling Xue held a book in each hand. The book in her right hand had a faint blue light to it and the book in her left hand had a faint red light to it.

[Ice Armour] (Skill Book):

Uses water elemental energy to create an incomparably strong armour around the user that can greatly increase the user's defense.  It will decrease the enemy's attack speed and move speed when the user is attacked by the enemy. Needs to be a level 45 magician to learn this skill.

God, it really was a good thing!

Ling Yue's beautiful eyes sparkled with a hopeful look.  Ling Xue laughed as she raised her hand, “Elder sister, learn it and let us see it!”

Ling Yue took it with a smile and learned the skill with a flash of light.  She raised the Roaring Flame Staff and there was a faint ice blue shield that quickly condensed around her.  At the same time, Ling Yue's defense increased by 200 points!

I was instantly a bit speechless.  Like this, the defense of a mage like Ling Yue actually surpassed the defense of a leather armour archer like me.  The way of this world, experts were truly abnormal!

After obtaining this Ice Armour Skill, Ling Yue's life preserving ability was greatly increased, especially when pking with close combat players.  The Ice Armour could be called a battle changing skill. Once the other side's attack speed was decreased, with Ling Yue's explosive power, any close combat player that approached could be easily taken care of.

At this time, Ling Xue raised the other red skill book and sent its stats into the party chat.

[Fire Dragon] (Skill Book):

Uses fire elemental magic to summon a magical flame dragon, dealing large damage to enemies around the target area.  The skill duration is related to the skill level. Needs to be a level 45 magician to learn this skill.

Everyone was shocked again, Ling Yue was truly blessed today!  She didn't obtain any benefits the last few times we came, but today the heavens were compensating her, giving her two skill books at the same time!

Ling Yue quickly learned the Flame Dragon Skill.  Raising her staff, there was a dragon's roar as a blazing flame dragon appeared out of thin air in front of us.  It soared out into the sky with the might to swallow all living beings. It could be imagined that if there were players here, they would be crippled if they didn't die.

After dividing up the loot, Ling Yue's confidence swelled.  She looked in the direction of the sixth floor and said with a smile, “How about we also sweep through the sixth floor tonight!”

The girls all gave happy nods of agreement.

The experience from the boss just now raised Ling Yue to level 46 and I was raised to level 44, entering the Chinese Server's top three positions again.  Ling Xue reached level 42 while Bing Cha and Purple Rhyme were still at level 41.

However, our current combination's power was incredibly strong, I'm afraid that it would be hard to find a party with this high of an average level in this entire world.  Otherwise, it would have been hard for us to kill that boss on the fifth floor. However, thinking of how the Demonized Commander boss thrashed us, I felt it was very interesting.

The sixth floor of the Ancient Ghost Temple sealed the final protector of the ancient general.  After that, the first floor of the Ancient Ghost Temple would be the tomb of the general. We would awaken the long sleeping general and have a good fight with it.

Looking at the dark entrance of the sixth floor, I said in a somewhat worried voice, “There could be very powerful monsters here, why don't I take a look first?”

Ling Xue shook her head as she said with a smile, “No need, I'll go by myself!”

After saying this, Ling Xue's beautiful form disappeared into the entrance.  After a few seconds, I took two steps forward and felt a slender form fall down from above.  It was Ling Xue!

Looking at her, Ling Xue's HP was already empty and her armour was covered in burn marks.  She was in a very sorry state.

“Un?  What happened?”  I helped Ling Xue up as I questioned her in a surprised voice.

Ling Xue's little face was white in shock and she pointed up as she said, “The system is too mean!  There's actually a group of high level magician monsters guarding the entrance, I was almost instantly kill!  Luckily this girl moves fast…..”

Ling Xue didn't forget to act prideful in the end.  I couldn't help laughing, “Look at combat log, how much HP did you lose from each attack?”

“Around 400, but there are a lot of monsters, at least over ten of them.  If I didn't move fast, I would have been instantly kill……” Ling Xue blinked innocently as she spoke.

I couldn't help letting out a sigh.  A hard problem was here, I knew the final level wouldn't be that easy to charge into.

I turned around and slowly went up the stairs.  Ling Yue couldn't help being shocked as she asked, “Bookworm, what are you doing?  Do you not want to live anymore?”

I revealed a smile, “Relax, I'll be fine……”

After saying this, I appeared on the sixth floor to light flashing all around me.  There were over ten magicians all around me chanting their magic spells. In the blink of an eye, fireballs were already flying at me!

I immediately shrank back and quickly returned to the fifth floor.  I felt the fireballs fly over me and perhaps I would have been burnt to dust if I was half a second slower.

“How was it, how was it?”  Bing Cha asked.

I said in a depressed voice, “There were thirteen magician monsters and I couldn't see their levels, but they should be Enhanced Monsters over level 50.  Their cast time is around 1.5 seconds. It's like this.”

Bing Cha coldn't help smiling as she asked, “Is this information any use?”

I revealed a faint smile before looking at Ling Xue and Ling Yue.  The two beauties were incredibly smart and immediately revealed an understanding smile.  Ling Yue confidently said, “My Scarlet Flame Sea's cast time is 1 second, I believe it'll make enough of a difference!”

I nodded, “Un, be careful!”

Ling Yue revealed a grin before slowly moving up the steps.  She arrived on the sixth floor, but after a second, she had already come back.  Her face was slightly red, clearly showing that she was a bit nervous, but she still smiled at me as she said, “Fifteen seconds.  I don't know if the persistent damage of the Scarlet Flame Sea can kill them or not……”

After just a few seconds, our experience bars increased.  As expected, Ling Yue's Scarlet Flame Sea left on the sixth floor could kill those monsters!  The sixth floor monsters couldn't come to the fifth floor, so like this, we could use this little bug to clean out the gate guarding monsters of the sixth floor one by one.

In less than ten minutes, Ling Yue gave us the OK sign.  Our group finally openly entered the Ancient Ghost Temple's sixth floor.
