Virtual World: Conquering the World Chapter 72

After logging off, the dishes Ling Yue ordered from a restaurant were on the table in the living room.  After everyone ate their fill, they logged in again. Zi Yue, Summer, and Quiet Rain Fall went to level.  Bing Cha was kept behind by me and Ling Yue to come to the Ancient Ghost Temple with us.

After logging on, we gathered at Sunset City's east gate.  Ling Yue and I came first and Ling Xue came right after. In the end, the two beauties were too attracting and were almost surrounded by people.  When Purple Rhyme and Bing Cha arrived, I pulled Ling Yue and Ling Xue out of the crowd of people.

When we arrived outside the city, everyone let out a sigh of relief.  Bing Cha said with a smile, “Beauties are invincible……”

Ling Yue and Ling Xue had flushed faces and Purple Rhyme revealed a faint smile on the side.

I was leading the way.  Currently the Ancient Ghost Temple was no longer a secret, it had been announced on the forums, so there were many players here looking for high level equipment.  It was a pity that the drop rate for the first and second floors were too low and that the Iron Armour Guards and Beast Riding Corpse Knight on the third and fourth floor were too strong, normal people couldn't beat them.  Countless enthusiastic teams encountered sweetness and bitterness here.

When the five of us appeared at the Ancient Ghost Temple, we found that the first floor was already divided between many people.  Almost each Blue Wolf Guard was ganged up to death the moment they respawned.

Ling Xue and I charged forward, standing in front of the team, with Ling Yue and Purple Rhyme in the middle and Bing Cha standing in the back as a guard.  Our group's combination stunned the players on the first floor and some people couldn't help looking over as they said in surprise, “Did you see! Did you see!  It's the beauties from the Xue Yue Studio. The one in front, isn't that the number one female magician Gentle Breeze Embracing the Moon?”

“Bullshit, that girl is the number one warrior, Gentle Breeze Flying Snow!  You can't even see the name?”

The first person was even more surprised, “Broken!  They are all experts above level 40! Do you see it, Easily Angered Bookworm who killed countless experts in the Forgotten Valley is also there.  Such a strong archer, he is simply the model for all archers in China! Look at our old third, this fellow is trash. He can't even fight level 18 monsters at level 28……”

We didn't stay on the first level and directly went to the second level.  In the distance, there was a group called Bloodthirsty currently fighting Spirit Warriors.  Although it was very hard, they could still kill it.

When we reached the third floor, there were very few players here, fighting the Iron Armour Guards in groups of three-five.  It was a pity that the Iron Armour Guards had an abnormal defense and they couldn't break it at all. In the end, in half a cup of tea's worth of time, they didn't even take half of its HP.  To kill all the Iron Armour Guards, it would take forever.

There weren't any players here on the fourth floor.  We couldn't see the Beast Riding Corpse Knight's level the last time we were here, but now we could finally see it.  They were actually level 45 Enhanced Monsters, with a terrifying attack and defense. Not far in front of us, there was a group of dropped potions.  It should be a group of players challenging the Beast Riding Corpse Knights and being sent back to the city by the Beast Riding Corpse Knights.

Ling Yue said with a smile, “We're going to the fifth floor, killing level 45 monsters is a bit lacking~~”

Purple Rhyme said with a smile, “Un, let's go to the fifth level!”

After coming together several times, Purple Rhyme was considered familiar with Ling Yue, Ling Xue, and the others, not as unfamiliar as when they first met.  Bing Cha treated her words like gold, following behind us with a faint smile.

I looked at the monsters around and charged through them before turning back to the entrance from the third level.  With my quick speed, the Beast Riding Corpse Knights were thrown behind me and they lost their targets in the end, remaining at the entrance.  Like this, if players came to the fourth floor, they would most likely be instant killed!

The girls opened their mouths, finally understanding what I was doing.

Ling Xue said with a low laugh, “Little fool, you're so bad!”

I said with a helpless smile, “We can only do this if we want to level on the fifty floor in peace!”

Actually this was a very simple reason, after all, people were selfish.  Playing games for this long has given me a habit to leave an escape route for myself before doing anything.  I definitely will not give anyone a chance to threaten my work.

The fourth level's Beast Riding Corpse King still hadn't respawned yet.  It had just died a few days and it was estimated it would be another week before it respawned.

So we directly headed for the fifth level.  Ling Xue and Bing Cha were leading the way!

When I reached the fifth floor, there were two flashes of blue light in front of me.  On the heads of two monsters in front had damage figures appear: “1568”, “1873”!

It was Ling Xue's new skill Water Moon Cut.  The strength really wasn't bad and it could cause this kind of damage to the monsters of the fifth floor.

But the two monsters could also break Ling Xue's defenses!

At this time, Purple Rhyme appeared and a high level heal instantly healed close to a thousand HP for Ling Xue!

I finally took a good look at the monsters of the fifth floor.  This was a giant swordsman that was around three meters tall, surrounded in black armour.  He had a sword that was around two meters long in his hand and each slash sent out a sharp sword qi.  It actually had a magic attack attached to it, with Ling Xue's HP falling twice each time!

Additional information: After being in yin qi for a long time, these elite swordsmen has already been demonized.  Their consciousness has already been destroyed and only their strong martial skills remain.

I was a bit surprised, my level was just enough to see their stats.  It had to be said that these Demonified Swordsmen had quite high attack, actually reaching 500.  It was no wonder they could break the defense of Ling Xue with her Strong Gale Set. Bing Cha was even more tragic, losing over 500 HP with one attack, so scared that she retreated with a pale face.

At the most crucial moment, we could still rely on Ling Xue.  We couldn't pull in groups of monsters to kill because these Demonized Swordsmen had ranged attacks. Their sword qi released could hit a target five meters away and if Ling Xue pulled in a group, she could be instantly killed.  Moreover, the other people present did not have the ability to resist these monsters.

Ling Yue gave me a very strange look before saying with a smile, “Actually you should have picked a close combat high defense Job.  Killing monsters like that seems pretty hot-blooded……”

I was speechless.  A high defense Job wouldn't have the same high damage that I had now, could one have both a fish and bear's paw?

So I pulled the Demonized Swordsmen over.  Raising my hand, I sent an Armour Piercing Arrow through space that hit the chest of a Demonized Swordsman with a “peng” sound.  It immediately dealt 1892 points of damage!

Ling Yue immediately changed her tone, “However, your current attack power isn't bad…..”

I helplessly said, “What are you thinking…..”

“He, he, nothing.  Kill the monsters!”

Ling Yue raised her Roaring Flame Staff, as fireballs and ice arrows flew out through space.
