Chapter 142: Happy Little Bread

I traded the over 300 flour to Ling Xue.  The little beauty looked up and silently calculated it, “547 flour and with your 314, un, that’s a total of 861 packs of flour.  It should be enough!”

After this, Ling Xue said with an excited look, “Let’s go!  We’ll collect the next ingredient, salt!”

I couldn’t help being surprised, “Salt?  Where can you get that?”

Ling Xue said with a smile, “Dead Wood Coast!”

“Dead Wood Coast, isn’t that the territory of the Scarlet Eyed Sand Alligator?”

“Right, but we’re not going to the same place as before.  There’s a territory of fishmen there and I read that these fishmen like to collect salt condensed from seawater like treasure!  Let’s go!  Let’s talk about it once we get there, it’s already getting late, so I don’t want to stay up too late!”

I gave a nod and followed Ling Xue out of the city.  This time we didn’t go to the Cool Breeze Forest, but the Dead Wood Coast!

Not long after, we arrived by the sunny coast.  In the distance, the level 60 elite Scarlet Eyed Sand Alligators were bathing in the sun.  We didn’t take the initiative to approach them since it was already night time, so we didn’t have time to level.  I didn’t care about staying up late, but this girl Ling Xue wasn’t willing to stay up late unless it was urgent.

After bypassing the territory of the Scarlet Eyes Sand Alligators, we didn’t go forward that long before we saw a bunch of fishmen swimming around in the shallow waters!

I directly used the Star Eyes and the stats of the fishmen appeared.

I shared the stats of these fishmen with Ling Xue and she said with a smile, “A good level 65 monster, we should start.  Look over there, if we don’t take care of the fishmen, we won't be able to obtain the salt buried in the sand!”

Looking into the distance, I saw that among the Fishman Guards, there were several large bumps in the sand.  The things inside were definitely the things that we were looking for!

So I went forward and quickly hit the scaled head of a Fishman Guard!

“Wu, wu, wu……”

The fishman shook his head in a funny manner as a 2786 damage figure appeared above its head.  With just 120 defense, they were like vegetables in front of me!

After another Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers, the Fishman Guard gave a pitiful wail before falling.  It was very stingy, only dropping several silver coins which really was too poor!

To the side, Ling Xue opened her mouth in surprise, “Little fool, you actually instant killed a level 65 monster!  Isn’t your attack power just too abnormal!  Let me see your stats!”

I revealed a smile and shared my stats with Ling Xue.

Ling Xue nodded before with a flash of light, Ling Xue’s stats appeared in front of me.

I couldn’t help smiling.  Ling Xue’s attack really was a bit nooby, she was a swordsman who added everything into strength!  But thinking about it, Ling Xue’s attack had already reached the peak of the current level.  After all, her level 30 Gold Light Flow Sword couldn’t match my level 55 Dark Gold Roaring Flame Spear.  Moreover, swordman only had 10 star growth rate for strength, so naturally they couldn’t compare to my Hidden Job with its 12 star growth rate.

So I said, “Ling Xue, test the monsters’ attack power!”

Ling Xue nodded and the beautiful figure flew out like the wind.  She immediately pulled in several Fishman Guards that gathered around her, throwing their low spears at her which only dealt damage in the tens.

A spear hit Ling Xue’s shoulder and there was a sudden burst of red light.  The shield on Ling Xue’s shoulder expanded until it became a giant fire red shield in front of the little beauty, blocking off all the attacks of the fishmen!

I suddenly couldn't help understanding.  Ling Xue had a swordsman shield, it was no wonder her defense was that terrifying.  It was even higher than mine!

With a flash of the Light Flow Sword, Ling Xue was already attacking.  She used the Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers to take half the fishman’s HP.  When she released the Water Moon Slash, there was a large sword glow that suddenly flew out and burst out in four different directions with Ling Xue at the center!

I immediately vowed, “Where!  I’m not that person!”

Ling Xue found this funny as she said in a teasing voice, “What kind of person are you?”

Seeing that she wanted to eat me, I didn’t answer and just stared at her.

Ling Xue didn’t have this idea and said in a speechless voice, “Don’t look at me like this, I’ll be embarrassed……”

When the little beauty was embarrassed, there was a giant buffalo that appeared that was the goal of this time!

The powerful Profound Ice Sword Energy fell with a powerful glow.  The buffalo let out a wail as it was stunned by the Profound Ice Sword Energy, being unable to move at all.

I went forward again and used another round of fierce attacks.

Just like this, with the two of us working together, it was much safer and we didn’t use as many potions.

The buffalo gave a painful wail before falling.

I quickly came forward and picked up the gold coins it dropped, as well as an item which was like cheese that splattered on the ground.  When I picked it up, it turned into bottles of milk.

So we quickly killed another one and took around three minutes to take care of it, but this one only gave 37 bottles of milk.  I took the milk and said, “It seems like this cow wasn’t filled with milk, we have to pick carefully before attacking.”

Ling Xue looked up at me like she found this to be funny and asked, “Then how can you tell?”

I proved it with my actions and fell down to look before pulling in the next mob.

Ling Xue’s face turned red and she immediately pulled me up by the neck, “Idiot!  Don’t lie on the ground looking at the monsters.  Wu, wu, wu, so embarrassing~~”

I accepted her advice and said, “Alright, since you don’t like it, I won’t look.”

Then the two of us took care of another cow, but this time there wasn’t a single bottle of milk!

I was filled with rage, “Damn, I didn’t see clearly, but this is a male cow!”

Ling Xue was shaking with laughter before patting my shoulder, “Alright, alright.  It doesn’t matter if it's male or female, let’s kill them all.  Anyway, the experience from these Elite Monsters aren’t that bad!”

I nodded before continuing to kill the mobs.

Because there was a difference in quality of milk and there were bulls mixed in, there was only an average of around 50 bottles of milk that dropped each time.

So Ling Xue started making the bread.  She didn’t need any items and just needed the materials before using magic.  Each bread took 100 flour, 100 salt, and 100 milk.  After ten seconds, the first bread appeared and Ling Xue directly threw it to me with a smile, “Eat it, don’t be polite!  It’s freshly baked!”

After the deal, the bread appeared in front of me.

Ling Xue spent a while making the bread and quite a few bread appeared in her inventory.  Each set of ingredients made 100 pieces of bread and each inventory space could only take 100 pieces.  So 800 pieces of wheat made 800 pieces of bread and Ling Xue generously gave me 200 of them.

She said while laughing, “This is your fee for getting the ingredients with me tonight.  Un, I’ll leave some for big sister since her mana consumption as a magician is just too high!”

I gave a nod, “Un, let’s log off and rest early!”
