Chapter 138: Take the head of the general

I gave a laugh as I charged forward under the effects of Bloodthirst.  I didn’t fear the slow effects of the ice arrows since I had the 50% resistance against Ice Magic from the Frozen Heart, so I could move like normal even when being affected by the freezing effect!

A Bloodthirsty swordsman wanted to show his loyalty as he charged forward and shouted, “Go!  Protect the boss!”

Before his voice fell, I waved the Roaring Flame Spear and several pieces of ice flew out.  The Ice Wind Thorn flew out to hit the swordsman in the shoulder!

“2875!”

This terrifying figure jumped out.  This level 44 swordsman didn’t die and after a daze of around 0.1 seconds, he immediately revealed a look of rage, “B*stard, I want your life!”

I gently swept the Roaring Flame Spear and with a red glow, this swordsman froze in place without moving.  There was a line of blood on his neck before he turned into bright lights and disappeared!

“Pu, pu, pu!”

With this sound, there was a pain that appeared in my chest.  My HP had been lowered by half by the magicians of the other side, so I quickly drank a 500 HP potion, but it was futile in the end.  Without a cleric, I couldn’t take their attacks at all.

But I could still kill Bloodthirsty World!

Two berserkers fearlessly came forward to stop me, meeting me with their axes!

I didn’t retreat, but rather released the Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers skill.  With a few sounds, the two berserkers only dealt 112 and 134 points of damage to me respectively and my Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers left them with a sliver of health.  The most important thing was that they had been pushed back by this move!

The Bloodthirsty people never would have thought that I would boldly charge forward.  After all, they definitely had the superiority in numbers, would I kill their boss while I was surrounded by dozens of people?

With a splash of blood, the Shield Break Slash completely disregarded Bloodthirsty World’s defenses and dealt a shocking amount of damage!

I couldn’t help laughing as the crit appeared.  It was a critical at the last second otherwise I might really not have been able to kill Bloodthirsty World!

“Hua la!”

Bloodthirsty World’s sword fell to the ground!

The forest was filled with silence as almost everyone was stunned.  Bloodthirsty World, an expert swordsman at level 48 had taken close to five thousand damage and the one hitting him was a close range Job!

“Hu!”

I quickly picked up the sword and didn’t even look at it as I threw it in my inventory.  Then in front of everyone, I quickly turned to run!

“Want to run?  How could it be that easy!”

A level 47 Bloodthirsty assassin immediately revealed a sinister look and shouted, “all assassins, come with me!  We’ll kill this b*stard and get revenge for our boss!”

More than ten assassins charged together at once!

The last two archers on my team had been easily taken care of by others, so there was only me left in the fight!

The notifications in the team chat continued to appear.

“God!  The expert has killed their boss, he killed their boss while charging into a group of people……”  The swordsman who had died said in a shocked voice in the team chat.

I couldn’t help complaining.  There was a bunch of Bloodthirsty assassins chasing me and my Bloodthirst skill’s effects had vanished after killing Bloodthirsty World!

“Hu!”

There was a black crystal that appeared on the ground under me, it was my new skill, Shadow Trap!

One of the assassins chasing me couldn’t see my hidden trap at all and stepped on it. There was a “hong” sound as several shadow ropes appeared and bound around the legs of the assassin!

“Ding!”

Combat notification: Your skill Shadow Trap has been triggered!

Looking at it, the cooldown was fifteen seconds which really was too much!

At this time, there was a sudden “puchi” sound as I was hit.  My body trembled and I couldn’t see anything!

Blind!  It was the damn blind of the assassin!

There was a cold laugh in my ear, “What expert!  Didn’t you still fall in father’s hands!”

The one who spoke was the leader of Bloodthirsty’s assassins.  I could hear the sound of his dagger cutting through the wind and I brandished my Roaring Flame Spear to sweep out.

“Peng!”

The Roaring Flame Spear hit another assassin and pushed them back.

But I could feel the pain coming from the side of my back as the other side had landed a backstab on me!

“875!”

The powerful damage made me complain and two second blind effect made it hard to tell where the enemy was.  When I could see again, I immediately ran off at a 45 degree angle.

A level 41 assassin gave a cold laugh and immediately charged forward with a dagger that had a green glow to it

“Poison Stab!”

I couldn’t help being secretly surprised as my luck seemed really good.  The most powerful Bloodthirsty Assassins were here and the blind and poison skills couldn’t be learned from the Job Instructors, but there were two of them here.  They were definitely people who could create waves in the early game!

“Damn!  I have to take care of these people today to let them know that there will always be someone better!”

I made my mind and swallowed my pots, not retreating, but rather charging forward.  The Roaring Flame Spear released a Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers to meet the poison stab!

“Pa, pa, pa!”

Three damage figures appeared consecutively.

“1357!”

“1427!”

“1410!”

There was no doubt that an assassin with low HP couldn’t handle this.  The assassin was sent back to the city with a grunt and as a trade, there was a green glow that appeared around him, which belonged to an abnormal status.

[Poisoned]: Loses 20 HP every second.  Lasts 15 seconds.

Throwing out a second Shadow Trap, I then quickly turned to leave!

The assassin leader was surprised, but he still skillfully dodged it.  Rather it was the dumb assassin behind him that stepped on it and was trapped by the shadow binds.

There was a big miss that appeared above my head which shocked the assassin team leader.  At the same time, I swept out with the Roaring Flame Spear, sending out the Shield Break Slash!

“Peng!”

The assassin team leader also moved quickly and raised his dagger while he was still off balance to block my attack!

“1842!”

The Shield Break Slash left him with a sliver of health, but in close range, I pulled out the Bronze Dagger in my inventory and changed weapons in 0.1 seconds.  With a quick breeze, the dagger had cut across the neck of the assassin team leader, immediately stunning him there.  He then fell to the ground and dropped a bunch of potions as he was sent back to the city!

The other assassins were stunned and didn’t even think about it as they attacked with basic attacks!

I gave a chuckle and quickly changed back to the Roaring Flame Spear!  In front of me, you noob assassins are still far from comparing!

“Hua!”

With a Whirlwind Slash, their attacks were stopped and the assassins were pushed back.  Even the assassin that had bore the brunt of the attack was instantly killed!

With another basic another, another assassin was instantly taken care of!

At the same time, there were fireballs that flew over.  The other players from Bloodthirsty had finally caught up and were sending out long range attacks without care.

I was a bit surprised and quickly retreated.  After moving a few steps, I found that my HP was already below 500.  This really was a heart racing battle!

I could only retreat while fighting, using a potion to slowly recover HP.  To completely heal this 3800 points of HP, it would take more than five minutes!

It was a good thing that the Bloodthirsty assassins were all noobs.  Their speed buffs had all disappeared and they were no longer faster than me, so I could easily run away from them.

Very soon, there were two assassins with decent equipment that caught up!

One left and one right.  They looked at each other before immediately attacking!

Two cold glows appeared, they were both backstabs!

I gave a laugh as I suddenly stopped.  The two assassins never thought that I would stop, so the backstab had turned into a front stab!

There was no doubt that there was no effect when the backstab hit the front, so there were two misses that appeared above my head, but their names had also turned gray at this time!

The Roaring Flame Spear turned into an ice blue glow as the Ice Wind Thorn hit the assassin on the left.  When his body disappeared, I swept out with the Roaring Flame Spear and the Dark Gold Spear hit the other assassin with a corpse on it.  It scared him until his face turned pale as he died from a basic attack without even being able to fight back.

The other assassins behind had caught up.  In order to avoid being backstabbed, I ran into the forest to the right and disappeared into the bushes!

The tree shadow was waning and afternoon had come at the right time! 

The assassins chased, but I changed to my Star Chasing Bow.  Using the topography, it was easier to shoot a few arrows!

There were cold glows that appeared from behind leaves as the armour piercing arrows flew out!

“Peng!”

A fierce looking assassin was hit in the chest and he died with a grunt!

Another assassin gritted his teeth and charged forward wielding his dagger, but he was hit with an ice arrow halfway and then a fire arrow took his life!

I immediately fell back.  The other Bloodthirsty assassins all had white names and I couldn’t easily kill them, or I would have a red name.

At this time, there were “rustling” sounds that came from behind and I was scared when I turned around!

A bunch of Bloodthirsty archers had unknowingly circled around and had surrounded me with the assassin in front!

After careful consideration, I decided that since I no longer had the terrain advantage, I quickly changed to the Roaring Flame spear and charged forward, clashing with the assassins.  But this time I didn’t make a move until two assassins left marks on my chest.  I raised the Roaring Flame Spear, but the two of them reacted quickly as they ran for their lives!

I immediately also escaped, but there was a pain that came from my body as a magician’s ice arrow hit me to reduce my move speed!

“Damn!  It’s over……”

My heart skipped a beat.  The cooldown for the Bloodthirst skill wasn’t over yet and with my move speed reduced, even the enemy mage could catch me.  I had less than 2000 HP, so clearly there wasn’t a chance.

It was a good thing that the Frozen Heart could resist the move speed debuff to a certain extent, but there were too many people, so I would die if I stayed here too long.

I could only try to escape, but before I could take a few steps, I found that I had nowhere to go.  There was actually a damn cliff behind me!

Looking down, it was at least several dozen meters!

There was a fireball that flew out and I didn’t have time to think as I jumped down!
