“High level my ass!”

After Dragon Soul kicked Heavenly Punisher down onto the fifth floor, he quickly entered as well.  I followed behind him and Ling Yue and Purple Rhyme walked side by side behind me.  If we met any monsters, the one in a bad position would be him.

Once we entered the fifth floor, a cold wind blew around us.  The surrounding temperature suddenly dropped and we felt very cold!

When Ling Yue and Purple Rhyme appeared together, the two of them instantly gave a surprised shout.  Ling Yue quickly tightened her robe around herself and Purple Rhyme’s arms wrapped around her chest, perfectly making the proud pair she had even more prominent.

Looking in front of us, a wave of cold air blew across us -

Its dead gray hair was wildly dancing.  It wore a golden armour and had a long sword, with a purple cloak fluttering behind it.  In front of us, there was an impressive looking skeleton, looking at us with a strong aura coming from its empty eye holes.  It looked at us like it was looking at a bunch of ants and it was filled with disdain.

[Ten Thousand Year Old Skeleton King] (Gold Level Boss)

Description: Ten thousand years ago, a king died here.  He was revived from his dissatisfaction of failing and now has become the king of skeletons leading a mighty force, hoping to sweep across the Spirit of Grief mainland.

Everyone here was dumbfounded.  Heavenly Punisher’s eyes were wide open as he said, “My god, a Gold Level Boss.  It’s time for us to die!”

Dragon Soul gripped his large sword, “Calm down!  Calm down!  We need to kill him.  Whether we become rich will all depend on what happens today!”

Ghost Fire said, “It’s a pity that I can’t use the Perishing Set yet, otherwise we might have a chance to kill it!”

Ling Yue opened her attractive little mouth and muttered, “It’s actually a Gold Level Boss.  Bookworm, we’ve struck the jackpot…..”

I said, “When do you want to start?”

After I gave my reminder, everyone finally awakened, but the Skeleton King also opened its eyes.  A cold glow immediately appeared in its eye sockets which made anyone who saw it shiver uncontrollably!

The horse that the Skeleton King rode on had already turned to white bones, but it was still wearing its battle armour.  With a long neigh, it kicked the ground a few times and suddenly charged forward as fast as lightning!

“Hua~!”

A cold glow shined and the blade of the sword in the Skeleton King’s hand was revealed.  There was a stream of light shining on the sword, showing that it was not an ordinary item!

“Be careful!”

Dragon Soul gave a low roar and Heavenly Punisher bore the brunt of the attack with his axe.  Only hearing a “ding” sound, the Skeleton King’s sword sent Heavenly Punisher flying.  With a “peng” he fell onto the ground and had already lost more than half his HP!

Everyone revealed looks of shock.  Even though Heavenly Punisher had defended himself, he had still lost 1000 HP from the Skeleton King’s attack.  How could they beat it?

Ling Yue immediately said in a low voice, “Everyone split up.  Use ice spells to slow him down, quickly!”

As the Chinese Server’s highest leveled player, everyone naturally followed Ling Yue’s orders.  Everyone immediately split up, but I quickly realized that surprisingly, the Skeleton King’s next target was actually Purple Rhyme!

So, I quickly fired out an armour piercing arrow.  Only seeing a white glow soaring out, a glow came from the Skeleton King’s back and a damage figure appeared - “542!”

Purple Rhyme’s face turned purple in fright, but she immediately gave a grateful smile to me.  I didn’t have the time to look back because the dangerous Skeleton King was already charging at me!

Dragon Soul held his sword as he suddenly came from the side.  He angrily shouted, “Sweeping away thousand soldiers!”

A purple light glowed and Dragon Soul’s giant sword suddenly stabbed the skeletal war horse’s butt.  Immediately, the Skeleton King’s HP dropped twice by 234 and 185 respectively.  With the Skeleton King’s defense, it was already pretty good that Dragon Soul could deal this much damage!

The Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers was a multi hit attack.  At its highest level, it could attack 5 times, but at the current stage, players could only release two attacks.

After his attack had hit, Dragon Soul very smartly ran as fast as possible.  His speed was so fast that it was surprising.

And the Skeleton King acted like it had been insulted as it immediately angrily charged at Dragon Soul.  Dragon Soul screamed in fear, “Brothers, save me!”

Of course, the person who saved Dragon Soul wasn’t a brother, rather it was Ling Yue with an ice bolt.  Suddenly, the Skeleton King’s speed decreased the and pressure on Dragon Soul also decreased.

I also shot out an ice arrow along with the armour piercing arrow, dealing quite a bit of damage to the Skeleton King.  Out of all the players here, I was obviously the main attack force.  The only thing that could deal a lot of damage to the Skeleton King was my armour piercing arrow.  Even Ling Yue’s fireball could only deal 400 points of damage.

After a panicked start, we had finally assumed our positions.  Ling Yue, Ghost Fire, and me were positioned in a triangle, separately taking the aggro of the Skeleton King and Dragon Soul and Heavenly Punisher were just waiting outside for the chance to launch an Earth Splitting Cut or a Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers, then they would quickly run away.  After all, they knew that if the Skeleton King’s sword touched them, they would definitely be on the edge of death!

Time slowly passed and everything was going well.  After half an hour, after being worn down by us, the Skeleton King finally only had a bit of HP left and was about to fall at any moment!

Heavenly Punisher appeared very excited.  He dragged his battle axe forward to attack and then immediately ran away after he landed the attack.  This kind of funny appearance made Purple Rhyme reveal a gentle smile.

As the main offense, I had almost used up all the surplus blue potions I had in my inventory.  I even asked Dragon Soul to bring some potions over to Ling Yue since her consumption as a mage was greater than mine.

Seeing that the Skeleton King no longer had a prestigious figure, I couldn’t help thinking that no matter how broken a boss is, it still can’t resist being controlled by a perfect strategy!

Dragon Soul licked his lips as he excitedly said, “Spirit of Grief’s first Gold Level Boss will be dying by our hands.  Just based on this, our names will be able to go down in history!”

Heavenly Punisher said, “Boss, will our names be recorded on the Skeleton King’s tombstone?”

Dragon Soul stared at him and said, “Fuck, don’t say stuff like that!”

Heavenly Punisher loudly shouted, “Long live the Skeleton King!  Living for a thousand years, covering the ancient and modern era, absolutely invincible!”

Fuck, that truly is too unlucky…...

At this moment, everything suddenly changed as Heavenly Punisher’s crow mouth came true.

They saw the low health Skeleton King suddenly stop and he raised his sword high up.  A profound spell surrounded the area and the ground began to shake.  It seemed like the entire five floored Netherworld Cavern was about to collapse!

“Ding~!”

System Notification: Please note that the Ten Thousand Year Skeleton King is using the skill - Summoning Ten Thousand Soldiers!

The sound of horses stepping on stone appeared from the void in front of us.  Countless skeletal knights waving long spears began to charge forward.  They were just like wild tigers, it was enough to make a person tremble!

Before long, a hundred undead knights rushed forward to join the fight!

Heavenly Punisher who chose to bear the brunt of the charge flew out with his giant axe.  The glow of the Earth Splitter Cut shined and several knights were knocked off their horse, but the knights behind suddenly charged forward and instantly submerged Heavenly Punisher.  We only saw a white light flashing as Heavenly Punisher was killed and sent back to the city!

Dragon Soul was shocked.  As he was about to turn around, there was a figure that appeared behind him!

The Skeleton King’s giant figure flew across the ground and with a “ca” sound, his sword stabbed into Dragon Soul’s chest.  Dragon Soul did not even have time to react before his HP was completely emptied by the “3458” giant damage figure!

With another white glow, Dragon Soul was also killed and he dropped a red potion!
