A large dark magician's cloak was wildly blown up by a sinister wind, just like a messy head of hair dancing in the wind.  There was a white skeletal staff with a dark serpent curled around it. It was a mage in mage equipment, only his empty eye sockets and his white bones told us that he was already a servant of darkness!

Additional Information: The previous empire's imperial mage has been corroded by darkness, becoming a servant of the dark.  There is no doubt that he is a terrifying existence with his incredible magical strength. For thousands of years, countless brave soldiers had fallen to his powerful magic.

As expected, I couldn't see this Dark High Priest's level at all.  Not to mention me, even Ling Yue couldn't see it. It was estimated to be at around level 55.

With a wild wind, the High Priest came forward.  After looking around, he didn't place us in his eyes like he was filled with contempt towards us.

Ling Xue was a bit worried.  She grabbed my hand and said in a small voice, “The Dark Sacrifice's Dark Thunder of Fury was enough to almost instant kill us and now this High Priest is definitely even stronger.  What should we do…..”

Before I even spoke, Ling Yue stole the first move.  With fluctuations of magic, a giant flame dragon charged forward and swallowed the Dark High Priest!

Suddenly, damage figures over 1000 appeared!

So this Dark Priest's stats were actually quite normal!  However, after the hard lesson just now, I didn't dare estimate Gold Grade Bosses over level 50.  Purple Rhyme cautiously released a curse while Bing Cha held her sword with an uncertain expression, not sure if she should attack or run.

At this time, Ling Xue already charged forward.  With a flash from the Light Flow Sword, a Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers and a Water Moon Cut was released, instantly taking out close to 5000 HP!  As a mage, this Dark High Priest must very much fear physical attacks.

I also quickly attacked with the Star Chasing Bow, dealing around one thousand damage with a fire arrow.  Just like this, with a round of attacks from us, the High Priest lost a tenth of his HP!

Ling Yue saw some hope as she said with a happy smile, “Everyone, work hard!”

But the boss' next action made Ling Yue's heart fall to rock bottom.

Raising the skeletal scepter, the Dark High Priest was surrounded by dark flickering light.  In the blink of an eye, a black giant dragon was released!

Ling Yue revealed a panicked look, “Be careful, it's the dark mage's Dark Dragon Wave!”

It seemed like Ling Yue had already experienced Ghost Fire's Dark Dragon Wave, so she seemed afraid of this move!

But it was too late to say anything.  This Dark Dragon Wave instantly swept out and rushed past Ling Xue and Bing Cha!

“2104!”

“2870!”

With these two damage figures, Ling Xue was left with a sliver of health and Bing Cha was even more tragic as she was directly killed!  It was a good thing Bing Cha had a Prepared Resurrection on her, but she definitely wouldn't be as lucky next time.

Ling Yue immediately made a firm decision, “Bing Cha, leave!  Leave the battle to return to the city! You already can't help!”

Bing Cha was not a foolish girl, she already knew this.  She quickly retreated and directly returned to the city after leaving battle state.

Purple Rhyme quickly healed Ling Xue while Ling Xue was chugging down red potions, bringing her HP back up.  However, if the boss used the Dark Dragon Wave again, Ling Xue wouldn't be able to resist it.

In this kind of situation, the little beauty Ling Xue made the decision to keep going.  She kept wildly using the red potion and didn't retreat at all as she brandished her sword against the Dark High Priest.  Not far away, Purple Rhyme was also wildy chugging down blue potions while using high grade heals one after another on Ling Xue.

In the end, with the coordination of the two girls, they could withstand the Dark High Priest's terrifying magic attack.  The most important thing was that there was a gap between Dark Dragon Waves and the normal Dark Fireball attacks only dealt around 1000 damage to Ling Xue, which was in the acceptable range for Ling Xue.

Compared to fighting the Demonized Commander, fighting this Dark High Priest was even more terrifying.  Ling Xue's HP was always maintained at around one third and Purple Rhyme kept focusing on healing her. If she lost attention for even one to two seconds, Ling Xue would have been killed!

After half an hour, Ling Xue's first piece of Wild Wind Equipment's durability reached less than 10%, so the stats greatly dropped.  This made the little beauty unable to hold on and couldn't help turning to complain, “This is bad! My defense has greatly dropped, I probably can't hold on any longer!”

Ling Yue said, “Xue'er, hold on a bit longer!  The boss is about to die!”

Ling Xue didn't have time to say anything as the High Priest released the Dark Dragon Wave again!

This time, Purple Rhyme didn't have time heal.  Because Ling Xue's defense had decreased, the Dark Dragon Wave dealt 2904 damage to her, which already surpassed the upper limit of her HP!

With a flash of white light, Ling Xue's beautiful figure disappeared as she revived back in the city.

My heart sunk.  It was over, Ling Xue lost one level!

Lacking our main defense, our group had completely crashed.  The Dark High Priest landed a Dark Fireball from the distance to kill Purple Rhyme and we no longer had a cleric!

Ling Yue looked at me with eyes filled with helplessness.

I sent out several skills at the boss.  He was already almost out of HP, we could only place our hopes on our final attacks!

It was a pity that the Dark High Priest's HP had no end.  Looking at the sliver, it was hard to tell if it was over ten thousand or not.

Seeing the dark magic fluctuations, my body was filled with pain like it was being lacerated, as I turned into white light and returned to the city!

“Ding~!”

System Notification: You have been attacked by the Dark High Priest and have lost 3201 HP!  You have died and your level has decreased by one!

“Shua!”

I appeared at the resurrection point by the Sunset City's east gate.  To the side, there was Ling Xue and Purple Rhyme. The two of them immediately gave me a smile and almost spoke with the same voice, “You're also back?”

I gave a bitter smile as I said, “Ling Yue might be back soon as well…..”

It was a pity that before Ling Yue was back, we heard a system notification.

“Ding~!”

System Notification: The General Tomb's magic array is slowly disappearing.  After forty eight hours, you can enter the General Tomb's seventh floor!

I couldn't help being as I said to Ling Xue, “You elder sister defeated the boss?”

Ling Xue gave a bright smile and said, “Of course, elder sister is the strongest!”

In less than a minute, Ling Yue appeared in the square of the city and ran over with a faint smile on her face.

I said, “We all died and you're still smiling…..”

Ling Yue said, “I didn't die~~”

I was very depressed.  At this time, Ling Yue smiled as she walked in front of me, trading a black cloak to me.  She said with a smile, “Here~~I'll leave this to you!”

I was a bit surprised.  I quickly opened my inventory and saw the faint glow of the black cloak.
