Virtual World: Conquering the World Chapter 42

After eating my fill, I rubbed my belly.  Seeing that it was already 5:50, I finished off my jasmine tea and returned to my room to log on.

With a flash of light, I appeared in the square by the Sunset City east gate.

In the distance, I saw a beautiful girl standing right by the city gate.  It was Ling Xue.  She seemed like she was waiting for something with her beautiful eyes releasing a moving glow.

I immediately walked over and Ling Xue immediately noticed me.  She quickly walked over and said with a smile, “Little fool, you’re finally online!  Where’s elder sister?”

I looked at my friends list and found that Ling Yue’s name was lit up.  So I said, “She’s probably buying potions!  Ling Xue, have you filled up on potions?”

Ling Xue nodded and said, “I’m completely full!”

At this moment, Ling Yue walked over from the medicine shop in the distance.  In the blink of an eye, she had walked over and stood right beside Ling Xue.

Instantly, I was stunned.  There were two exactly the same young beauties standing in front of me and if it wasn’t for the different equipment, I wouldn’t have known which one was Ling Xue and which one was Ling Yue!

There was no preparation one could make in their hearts, after all, beauties like Ling Xue and Ling Yue were rarely seen.  I had once suspected that the two of them were the same person, but having the two beauties standing in front of me, I was completely overwhelmed and all the thoughts I had disappeared.  It turned out that beautiful women were the real kings in video games!

Not to mention me, all the other players in Sunset City stopped and looked over.  They seemed like they had been struck by lightning as they froze in their steps!

The creator was quite marvelous.  In this world, there were beautiful girls like Ling Yue and Ling Xue who could contain this kind of heaven shaking beauty in a single body.

I couldn’t help taking a few extra looks at them.  Ling Xue’s snow white cheeks and that happy smile on the corner of her lips and Ling Yue’s beautiful appearance on the side, standing there with a smile on her beautiful face.

Ling Xue gave an affectionate smile and said, “Elder sister, I failed my exam this afternoon!”

Ling Yue smiled and asked, “Why did you fail?”

“Because I made a mistake writing the N formula…..”

“Yi?  Does Maoism have this kind of formula?”

“That’s why I made a mistake and that’s why I’ve definitely failed……”

Ling Yue revealed a faint smile and said, “It’s fine, it doesn’t matter if you fail.  As long as you get a high grade~~”

Ling Xue gave a gentle laugh, “Un, un!”

I felt my skin go numb.  These sisters really were not mortals!

At this moment, many players opened the screenshot function and began to take pictures of these absolutely beautiful girls.  With me standing in between Ling Xue and Ling Yue, naturally I was just background scenery.  In fact, there were quite a few players that wanted to come over and start a conversation.

It was a good thing that Purple Rhyme finally arrived.  When she saw Ling Xue and Ling Yue, she couldn’t help being a little stunned as she muttered, “Gentle Breeze Embracing the Moon, Gentle Breeze Flying Snow…..Oh god!”

Purple Rhyme turned around to look at me and she asked, “Bookworm, the two experts you found to level with, you wouldn’t be talking about them, right?”

I nodded, “Un.  What’s wrong?  Are they not qualified?”

Purple Rhyme revealed a helpless look as she smiled and said, “How could they not be qualified?  I’m just afraid that I will be a burden to you guys!”

I looked at her and found that Purple Rhyme was already level 30.  She clearly wouldn’t be a burden, after all, in «Spirit of Grief» the levels of clerics were not high and a level 30 cleric could already be considered an expert!

So I said, “Let’s go then!  If we don’t, a riot might happen!”

Ling Xue blinked and said with a smile, “Why would a riot happen?”

Ling Yue explained, “Bookworm’s equipment are quite good, so people will want to steal it!”

Ling Xue felt relaxed.

I just felt speechless.  Quickly leaving the gate, our four men party entered the Gentle Breeze Forest and I let out a sigh of relief.  The feeling of unrest I had finally disappeared.  Forming a party with three high class beauties, it was something that others truly envied!

When we had been leveling in the Netherworld Cavern, Ling Yue had already met Purple Rhyme so she just greeted her.  When Ling Xue saw Purple Rhyme, she revealed a smile and gave a greeting.

With my “matchmaking”, Ling Xue and Ling Yue both added Purple Rhyme to their friends list.  When Purple Rhyme mentioned her teammate Sword Flame, Ling Xue smiled and said, “I know Sword Flame because my elder sister mentioned it to me before~~”

Purple Rhyme smiled and said, “That’s right, I saw the PK video of Gentle Breeze Flying Snow and Bookworm this morning, but I never thought that I would meet the real person so soon.  It seems like Gentle Breeze Embracing the Moon and Gentle Breeze Flying Snow are really sisters!”

Ling Xue said a few polite words and then asked me, “Little fool, after going to the company to get a job, how has work been?  Are there people making it hard for you?  Just tell me.  While elder sister is there, we’ll have her help you out a bit!”

Ling Yue revealed a strange expression and looked at me.  Then she sent a private message to me, “Bookworm, don’t tell Xue’er about the matter between me and Wang Jun Jie!”

I was a little surprised, but then I said to Ling Xue, “Everything is fine…..”

Ling Xue blinked, but did not ask anything else.

At this moment, we had arrived at the Ancient Ghost Tomb.  Facing this ancient temple, Ling Yue and Purple Rhyme coming here for the first time couldn’t help revealing a surprised expression.  Ling Xue and I were already accustomed to this so we rushed forward and forcefully opened the temple door.

Immediately, three Blue Wolf Guards charged out!

Ling Xue and I were already prepared and we each took a single Blue Wolf Guard.  My Golden Bow shot two armour piercing arrows, instantly killing one of the Blue Wolf Guards.  As for Ling Xue, she acted much simpler, using a single Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers, to take care of one.

Ling Yue also acted very quickly.  A fireball flew through the air and coordinating the Purple Rhyme’s Punishment, they easily took care of the other Blue Wolf Guard.

In half a minute, we took care of three Blue Wolf Guards.  This clearly showed just how much strength our party had!

In the distance, there were several player teams approaching the Ancient Ghost Temple.

I immediately said, “Let’s rush in.  We’ll go past the first floor and head directly to the second floor!”

The girls nodded and followed me through the ancient temple.

There were Blue Wolf Guards scattered all around the ancient temple’s first floor, but we all had relatively high levels, so the monsters had a small aggro range on us.  As we passed through the monsters, we only killed a few of them before reaching the second floor.  Facing this large group of Spirit Warriors, I was incredibly happy.  To our little team, these Spirit Warriors was nothing more than moving experience points!

Ling Xue smiled and asked, “This time, how do we kill them?”

Ling Yue and I exchanged a smile and I said, “Ling Xue, you will pull in the monsters and Ling Yue and I will use AoE skills to attack.  Purple Rhyme, you just focus on healing Ling Xue!  You two, is there any problems with this?”

Ling Xue revealed a happy smile and said, “It’s only pulling in monsters, what problems could I have with that!”

Purple Rhyme also nodded as she smiled and said, “I’m only healing a single person and with Ling Xue’s equipment, what problem could I have!”

I said in serious tone, “Then, let’s begin!”

When I finished speaking, Ling Xue was already charging at the monsters.  The beautiful figure flowed through the monsters like water, landing a single hit on each one.  In the blink of an eye, she had already pulled in around 100 Spirit Warriors!

Facing the attacks of the Spirit Warriors, Ling Xue’s HP continued to drop.  Purple Rhyme had already raised the staff in her hand and a white light flashed down on Ling Xue’s body from overhead.  Her HP had been restored by 400 and in a short three seconds, a second Healing Technique was cast and Ling Xue’s HP was recovered to full!

Ling Yue and I immediately made our moves and the Scarlet Flame Sea and Thousand Bladed Arrows immediately appeared on the ancient temple’s second floor.  Facing a crowd of monsters like this, these two skills could be used to their full extent.  Seeing the damage figures appear, the HP bars of the Spirit Warriors quickly drained away.

In less than two minutes, the first group of 50 Spirit Warriors were taken care of.  Golden coins fell onto the ground and scattered around, one could see various pieces of equipment.

What was even more surprising was the experience itself.  In just a few minutes, Purple Rhyme had reached level 31.  Her mouth opened wide as she said in a surprised voice, “This…..Isn’t this too fast?”

Ling Yue revealed a faint smile and I said, “You’ll get use to it!”
