“Shua, shua!”

Two consecutive numbers appeared above the heads of the Demonized Swordsmen, “1462”, “1481”.

Finally, with Ling Xue's Sweeping Away Thousand Soldiers, the third Demonized Swordsman fell with a tragic cry.  He dropped two gold coins and a sparkling sword.

I immediately picked it up and shared the stats in the party channel.

It had 180 attack without even being identified, so it's attack could reach 240 when it was appraised.  Although it couldn't compare to the Golden Light Flow Sword, it was still a Silver Weapon that was 10 levels higher than the Light Flow Sword, the attack power wouldn't be that lacking!

I asked for everyone's opinion.  Ling Xue and Purple Rhyme had no opinion and Ling Xue pursed her lips into a faint smile, “How about this?  We'll give it to Bing Cha, she's lacking in attack power right now!”

I smiled as I nodded, trading this Silver Sword over to her.

Bing Cha had a look of pleasant surprise.  She wasn't willing to let go as soon as she received the weapon, after all, high level weapons were rarely seen in the current «Spirit of Grief».  This kind of level 40 Silver Weapon was rare and if we didn't go to the fifth floor of the Ancient Ghost Temple, it was hard to find this kind of equipment from a non boss monster.

Only, she couldn't use it right now, so Bing Cha could only stick to her level 25 Bronze Sword.  However, her heart should be filled with joy right now.

We continued killing monsters, with each Demonized Swordsman taking all of us ganging up on it before taking it down, even adding in Purple Rhyme's curses.

But there wasn't a single equipment that dropped afterwards.  The level 48 Demonized Swordsman were very stingy, that sword was probably dropped because of a system error.

All the way until eleven at night, we finally cleaned up most of the monsters on the fifth floor.  Although there were no equipments that dropped, at least the experience was quite rich. I went from level 43 and 23% to level 43 and 86%.  Ling Xue reached level 42, Purple Rhyme and Bing Cha reached level 41, and Ling Yue remained first in China at level 45.

Following this, our group came to the center of the fifth floor.  In front of me, there was a giant cage that was like the one that trapped the super boss on the third floor, which filled me with nervousness.

Bing Cha raised her sword and came forward as she said, “I'll pull it over!”

Ling Xue immediately stopped her, “Let me do it instead!  My defense is higher than yours…..”

Bing Cha wanted to say something, but Ling Yue said with a smile, “Let Xue'er do it, it's more safe!”

So, Ling Xue revealed a smile and raised her sword to open the cage.  In that moment, the cage shackle suddenly exploded and there was a sword light that fell onto Ling Xue's shoulder!

“Peng!”

Combat notification: Player Gentle Breeze Flying Snow has been attacked by the Demonized Commander, she has lost 1247 HP!

In an instant, Ling Xue's HP fell by half and she was stunned.  She immediately ran back beside me with the Light Flow Sword. It was a good thing Purple Rhyme had top quality recovery equipment and had a high grade healing technique, instantly filling up Ling Xue's HP!

So, Ling Xue braced herself and came forward with her sword again.  She and Bing Cha surrounded our team with one to the right and one to the left.

I immediately sent out an Ice Arrow to slow them down, while also coordinating an Armour Piercing Arrow to deal damage.  Ling Xue also sent out fireballs, while Purple Rhyme was focused on healing Ling Xue and Bing Cha. What was hard to find was that although Purple Rhyme was a girl, her movements were very skillful.  When someone was about to die, the precision and predictability of a cleric became more important!

Purple Rhyme could enter Sword Flame's group, it meant she was a player with real ability.  In just a few minutes, her precision and predictability even made Ling Yue praise her.

With the gap between attacks, I finally had a chance to see the boss that was like the Demonized Swordsman, but had a giant cape on.  His body was blood red and had a strong aura. As for his stats.

[Demonized Commander] (Golden Grade Boss)

Attack: ???

Defense: ???

HP: ???

Additional stat: An outstanding commander under the Ghost General.  Follows the Ghost General in death, has many skills.

As expected, I couldn't see the Demonized Commander's stats, it was probably already level 50.  But what I could understand from it was that he had many broken skills!

At this time, the Demonized Commander raised his sword high up and roared.

“Ding~!”

Combat notification: The Demonized Commander has used the Shocking Roar of Anger, decreasing your attack power by 25%!

I was a bit surprised.  Taking a look, my attack power really decreased by over 100.  My Armour Piercing Arrow could deal 800 damage before, but now it only dealt around 500 damage!

Ling Xue complained in the party chat, “This boss is too abnormal!”

Bing Cha also said, “A single slash almost killed me.  If it uses a fatal attack, I'm certainly dead, wu, wu…..”

I said with a laugh, “Don't be afraid, you have the Prepared Resurrection, so you have a chance to die!”

At this time, the boss suddenly raised his sword and chanted a long spell.  We just saw a red cloud suddenly appear above us, followed by burning meteors falling from the sky!

“Ding~!”

Combat notification: The Demonized Commander has used the skill Meteor Rain!

“Peng!”

My shoulder was hit and I suddenly lost close to a thousand HP.  Such terrifying strength!

I didn't care about it that much as I immediately moved.  I reached out for Ling Yue's waist and flew off holding her.  When we escaped the area and turned back to look at it, Purple Rhyme was on the opposite side with a helpless look, having to heal Ling Xue and Bing Cha at the same time.

Ling Yue's face was pale.  In that moment, she suffered the Meteor Rain attack and even with the Flame Qi Shield's protection, she almost lost all her HP!

“Too terrifying!”

Ling Yue said in a fearful voice.  She patted my hand while saying with a soft laugh, “You can let me go now, it won't be good if you let Xue'er see this!”

I turned back and saw that Ling Xue was focused on fighting, not paying attention over here.

That boss kept wielding his blade while that area we were just standing in had meteors falling down.  The Ancient Ghost Temple's fifth floor was in complete chaos.

But this allowed use to have fun attacking for a while.  No one disrupted this boss' skill and we allowed him to send down meteors at an empty spot!

But good things didn't last forever.  This boss didn't want to stop and in the next second, he raised his sword high up, releasing a glow around him, filling the entire fifth floor with a red light.

“Ding~!”
