Chapter 114: Shield Break Slash

It was actually…..a Dragon Whisper?

I really wasn’t the only Dragon Whisperer on the continent!

I was stunned, unable to say a single word.

At that time, Dragon Whisperer Bing Lan came in front of me.  Her beautiful face was a bit cold as she said, “You, stand up, let me take a good look at you!”

I didn’t know what to do and could only obediently stand up.  Holding the Bloodthirsty Spear and with the black cloak on my back, I looked quite powerful.

Bing Lan looked over me before saying with a faint smile, “You’re considered not bad.  Then from now on, I will be your teacher, remember that!”

“What?  You are my teacher?”  I was completely shocked before pointing at her snow white face, “You look this young, how can you be my teacher…..”

Bing Lan was a bit angry as she said, “What are you saying, I can’t be a teacher if I’m young?”

Bing Lan raised her sword and softly swung it.

“Kacha!”

There was a sword glow that came out and the cliff in front of me split, as ten meters of ground collapsed.  There was a clean cut mark that made one stunned!

I took a cold breath and couldn’t say a thing.  When I entered the game, the Spirit of Grief had a white haired youth cut the wings of a devil, which was similar to this slash.  It seemed like Dragon Whisperer Bing Lan wasn’t simple!

Bing Lan looked at me and asked, “Now, do you think I’m qualified to be your teacher?”

My cold sweat didn’t stop.  She was more than qualified to be my teacher, she was even qualified to be my ancestor!

So I respectfully said, “Teacher Bing Lan…..”

“Am I that old?”  Bing Lan raised a brow.

I secretly complained, this NPC really wasn’t easy to appease!

So I quickly changed my statement, “Beauty Bing Lan…..”

Bing Lan wasn’t happy, “Forget it, just call me Bing Lan……”

I nodded.  Bing Lan turned to come to the cliff and her beautiful eyes looked at the snow in the distance as she muttered, “It’s been a hundred years, but I never thought that Dragon Whisperer inheritance would finally begin…..”

“This…...What does this mean?”

Bing Lan revealed a faint smile, “Nothing.  Listen well, on this continent, the light alliance of humans, elves, and beastmen are resisting the invasion of the army of darkness made of demons.  We Dragon Whisperers are the messengers between humans and dragons.  There are only two Dragon Whisperers right now, one is you and the other is me, so I will teach you all the powerful skills and dragon magic……”

I was filled with wild joy.  So I could study the broken dragon magic!  Once I learned it, our Xue Yue wouldn’t need to fear the alliance between Fated and Bloodthirsty in Sunset City!

But Bing Lan came in front of me and raised one hand, “You have already become an official Dragon Whisperer, but all your training will depend on yourself!”

“Ding~!”

System notification: You have completed your Job Change Quest and received the [Dragon Whisperer] title!

Under my name, there was a green glowing “Dragon Whisperer” title, which looked very good.  However, it disappointed me since I didn’t get any skills from it!

At this time, Bing Lan looked at me and said, “You, do you have any other requests…..”

Of course I do, I want broken skills!

Bign Lan was already looking into the distance and ignored me.  When I talked to her, there was an option that jumped out that said——Do you want to learn Job Skills?

Dark, too dark!  I never thought that the learning fee of this beautiful teacher would be this high!  It was a good thing that it was me, other people wouldn’t have been able to afford it!

Gritting my teeth, I went all in and learnt it!  This Hidden Job’s skills couldn’t be freely learned and it was a skill that had to be learned from the Job Instructor, so it had to be very broken!

When the 1000 gold coins left me, there was another skill that appeared in my skill list.

[Shield Break Slash]: Using dragon energy, ignores magic defenses to deal 120-150% physical damage.

There was no doubt that this Shield Break Slash was the nightmare of mages.  The Magic Shield was a skill that mages could use to guard against close combat Jobs, but with my Shield Break Slash, no matter how powerful a mage was, they wouldn’t be able to take a single hit from me!  After all, in battles between peak experts, battles between warriors and mages were instant kills.  Once the mage was hit, they would most likely be dead.

There were quite a few people setting up stalls here, so I went to the warehouse to take out the Bronze and Dark Iron Items.  I shouted out in the square and sold everything.  When I sold all those equipment, I earned close to a thousand gold coins, which was quite a bit of income.

There was a “di” sound as Ling Xue sent a message, “What are you doing?  Want to level together?  Xue Yue Studio’s members are all moving together today, do you want to come as well?”

Thinking about it and weighing it all, I decided to go play with them!

So I replied, “Add me!”

Several seconds later, I received the long range party invite from Ling Yue and I clicked accept.  When I appeared in the team, I saw that all seven people were in the party!

Opening the map, the other six orange dots were in the south of Sunset City.

South of Sunset City, I remember that it was a coastal area!

I ran over and was too lazy to take care of the mobs on the way.  Now that I was level 40, which wasn’t considered low, I could just run all the way there.

Half an hour later, there was a deep blue coast that appeared in front of me called the Dead Wood Coast.  In the jungle by the coast, there were several beautiful figures killing mobs who were the girls of Xue Yue!

When I came over, I was sad to find that I was actually the lowest level member of the studio.  Ling Yue was level 51, Ling Xue and Bing Cha were level 45, Quiet Rain Fall was level 44, and Zi Yue and Summer were level 42.  I was the lowest at level 40.

These girls were  going all out in killing a red eyes alligator.  The giant alligator kept swimming around and Ling Xue and Bing Cha faced it with their swords in hand.  Rain Fall was shooting at it while Ling Yue was hitting it with powerful fireballs.

I immediately used my Star Eyes to see the stats of the alligator.

Good fellow!  It was no wonder it was this hard for them, this was actually a level 60 Elite Monster.  Normally speaking, Elite Monsters were five times stronger than normal monsters, but they also gave five times more experience, so it was quite worth it!

So I immediately raised my Bloodthirsty Spear and sent out an Ice Wind Thorn.  The ice cone flew out and a layer of frost appeared on the Sand Alligator’s strong skin!

“Hu!”

The Sand Alligator immediately bit at me and I felt pain on my chest as I had lost over half my HP!

God damn, it really was worthy of that 680 attack!

Ling Xue and Bing Cha found it hard to deal with it.  Bing Cha was the same as me, she lost half her HP when she was hit each time.  Ling Xue was a bit better with her Silver Equipment, she could at least take four hits!

Seeing that I joined, Ling Xue said with a faint smile, “You’re here, it’ll be much safer!”

Bing Cha also said with a smile, “With another meat shield, I have some time to heal!”

I laughed, but Ling Xue said, “Our studio really lacks a high level healing cleric.  If…..Purple Rhyme can join our Xue Yue Studio, that would be great…..”

Summer on the side said in a pleased voice, “Hee, hee, Zi Yue really is dumb.  Look at how big sister does it!”

After saying this, Summer summoned out a little white wolf.  With a command, the little wolf came to the side of the Scarlet Eyed Sand Alligator and opened its mouth to bite the sand alligator’s leg!

The Sand Alligator called out in pain and flicked its tail, hitting the little wolf’s butt!

“Ao, ao……”

The wolf called out as it was actually instantly killed!

I was even more speechless before I turned to say, “Summer, what do you call this?”

I said, “Summer, since you can’t deal any damage, how about doing something else.  What is it, how about you sing for us?”

Summer happily said, “Alright!”

After saying this, she began singing.  In less than ten seconds, Ling Xue, Ling Yue, and the other girls were speechless.  I said, “You’re doing great!”

Normally speaking, girls singing would sound beautiful and Summer’s voice normally sounded good, but she really was bad when it came to singing.  She just roared out at the top of her lungs and we were so stunned that we couldn’t say anything.  This wasn’t called dealing any damage, this was just helping the monster deal damage to us!

The Bloodthirsty Spear in my hand lit up with a gold glow and I used the first Shield Break Slash!

“1246!”

Although the Scarlet Eyed Sand Alligator didn’t have defenses, the Shield Break Slash did a high 1246 points of damage.  Ling Xue and Bing Cha were a bit surprised as they muttered, “Bookworm’s attacks are this terrifying……”

I revealed a faint smile.  This was still with the Bloodthirsty Spear, if I were to equip the Dark Gold Roaring Flame Spear in my warehouse, the effects on leveling would be clear!

With a blue glow, Ling Xue’s Water Moon Slash came out to drop the Scarlet Eyed Sand Alligator with a pitiful cry.  The giant body disappeared like a withered leaf as it dropped a piece of equipment and several gold coins!

Everyone laughed.  We all knew that the price of a piece of level 45 Silver Equipment wasn’t low.  It was at least over 1000 gold coins, which was 2000 RMB.  Ling Yue had given a piece of equipment of this value to Zi Yue, she really was generous!

In the team, I had the lowest level, but my damage was among the highest in the team.  After all, I had several skills that all dealt high damage, which wasn’t worse than Ling Xue and Ling Yue.  In the end, the experience was mainly given to me in this team.

It could be imagined how high the experience from level 60 Elite Monsters who were 20 levels higher than me was.  In short, it wasn’t that much slower than gathering a bunch of mobs and using the Thousand Bladed Arrows to kill them.
