Virtual World: Conquering the World Chapter 62

In the distance, Fated Madman held his battleaxe as he looked at us with cold eyes.  Behind him, there were several dozen Fated Players eyeing us as well. It was clear that as long as Fated Madman gave the order, they would immediately charge at us.

Ling Xue cut down a Corrupted Skeleton and couldn't help smiling as she said, “It really is murder cries for revenge!”

Ling Yue raised the Roaring Flame Staff in her hand as she revealed a faint smile and said, “Everyone prepare to fight!”

Actually, the other side had only brought less than fifty people and we didn't put them in our eyes at all!

Fated Madman also clearly knew this.  He gave a cold laugh and said, “Father already said that we would settle things with you, don't think you can run amok in Sunset City because you have Sword Flame supporting you!  Today, you will all die here!”

To the side, Fated Bloodthirster raised a new pair of daggers.  His original Bronze Daggers were now in Ling Xue's inventory. He had lost four levels back then, falling down to level 31 and most of his Bronze Equipment had been dropped.  He was currently using several Dark Iron Equipment as fillers, making him look very ugly.

Fater Bloodthirster gave a cold snort and said in a sinister voice, “Easily Angered Bookworm, father will let you taste the feeling of dropping several levels!”

I looked at my sin value and saw that there were still over six hundred points.  Actually, killing stronger monsters could reduce the time even faster.

So, I said with a faint smile, “Fated Bloodthirster, you want to kill me with just you?  Aren't you thinking too highly of yourself?”

Fated Bloodthirster's face turned livid.  Fated Madman beside him gave a laugh, “To kill you all, why must I make a move?”

I was a bit surprised.  Ling Yue and Ling Xue looked at me in surprise, not understanding why Fated Madman said this.

At this time, the sound of a system announcement penetrated the silence.

“Ding~!”

System Announcement (Player Fated Madman's announcement): Listen all players in Sunset City, Gentle Breeze Embracing the Moon and Easily Angered Bookworm have red names from killing innocent players and they are currently at point (5620, 2473) to the east of Sunset City.  Those hot blooded brothers, please come and kill these harmful things to Sunset City! These people all have equipment in the rankings, so as long as you kill them, you will become rich!

I couldn't help smiling, “Good use of a borrowed knife.  I thought that all the Fated players were idiots, but I never thought that you would have some intelligence…..”

Quiet Rain Fall said with a smile, “You're still saying this.  What you should be thinking about is, how are we going to escape from here?”

I looked at Ling Xue to the side and saw that her eyes were moving with a bright shine to it.  So, I said, “How about asking Ling Xue about this instead. I believe that she'll think of a good method!”

Ling Xue spoke, “Kill them all and then level to clear our red names…..”

I couldn't help being surprised, “Good fellow, this is what I wanted to do the most!”

Ling Yue smiled on the side and said, “Don't be so worried.  Killing people has a price and we don't need to waste our time on these people.  How about we draw back first and avoid being spotted. We'll get rid of Bookworm's red name before we do anything!”

I smiled and said, “Actually, you can all just go back to the city and go to the Ancient Ghost Temple to level.  As for me, be assured, I can do this by myself!”

Of the Xue Yue players, only me with the red name could not use the City Return Scroll, but the other girls could.

Ling Xue shook her head and said, “How could we do that!  How dangerous would it be for you to stay here alone!”

Summer also said, “That's right, Bookworm.  If you die, no one will be able to pick up your equipment!”

At this time, Ling Yue said with a faint smile, “I feel that Bookworm's method is for the best.  It's more convenient if he's alone, we will just be his burden if we stay with him!”

Ling Xue couldn't help looking at Ling Yue and saying in a worried voice, “Elder sister, how can you say that.  To let little fool deal with all these people by himself…..”

Ling Yue gave a helpless smile, “I am weighing the pros and cons.  Xue'er, it isn't that I'm not worried about Bookworm's life and death, I am very nervous…..”

Bing Cha to the side pursed her lips into a smile and Ling Yue found that her words had some different meanings.  Her face turned red and she immediately changed her words, “It just means this, don't say anything else! Now, all of you return to the city and go to the Ancient Ghost Temple to clear out the third and fourth floor once!”

After saying this, Ling Yue turned around.  Looking at me, she said with a smile, “You mustn't die, I believe in you!”

I nodded, “Of course.”

Ling Yue gave a laugh.  Bing Cha, Zi Yue, and the other girls returned to the city.  Ling Xue looked over at me and gave a sweet smile before also returning, leaving Ling Yue alone with me.  She calm forward with a smile and said, “In an hour from now, log off for dinner. We'll be waiting for you!”

My heart was a bit moved as I said, “I'll try my best.  If I pass that time, it means that I've met a bit of trouble and you don't need to wait for me.”

Ling Yue smiled and said in a firm voice, “We will always wait for you.”

After saying this, Ling Yue's beautiful figure faded as the magic brought her back to Sunset City.  In the end, there was only me left here to deal with the Fated group.

In the distance, there were several Sunset City players that had arrived, clearly here to cause trouble for us.

I did not even think before heading into the depths of the Hero Memorial Park.  The monsters here were already level 40 and up, so I could easily deal with them, but the Fated people would feel a headache dealing with them.

However, Fated Madman had already led several berserkers to charge forward with him and there were even some red named players among them!

Fated Madman's eyes were blood red as he cursed, “Brat that doesn't know the depths of the heaven and earth!  Today you'll learn the consequence of offending father!”

Actually, people's real natures were revealed in the game.  Fated Madman certainly wasn't a good person in the real world.

So, with a bit of anger, I immediately raised the Star Chasing Bow.  A streak of light flew out and it hit the red named berserker beside Fated Madman.  There was a high “1984” number that appeared before this level 28 berserker was instantly killed!

Fated Madman and the others were all shocked.  Berserkers were known as tanks second only to knights, but one had just been killed instantly be an archer.  This was too unbelievable!

I gave a laugh before passing by four Corrupted Skeletons.  Because our levels were around the same, the skeletons' aggro did not fall onto me.  However, when the Fated group charged by, they attracted the aggro of the skeletons. With a serious of low roars, the Corrupted Skeleton charged at them!

The Fated people were thrown into confusion.  Before the several clerics in the back could even react to heal, a red named berserker had already lost half his HP!

I hit that person when he was down.  With the sound of a bowstrong being released, a white light flew out and accurately hit the berserker's chest!

“1872!”

With another shocking damage number, that half health berserker was instantly killed without any doubts!

Fated Madman's eyes were completely red as he roared, “Fuck!  Exterminate him, we must kill him today!”

I just remained silent.  When the three second CD finished, I immediately pulled back the Star Chasing Bow's string and sent an Armour Piercing Arrow at Fated Madman's chest!

“Peng!”

With an explosion of white light, a “1754” damage figure floated out above Fated Madman's head.

This shocking damage figure made Fated Madman shocked and worried.  He would surely die if another attack hit!

I didn't keep attacking because my name had already turned grey.  It wasn't any good to me to be killed by anyone and I had already accomplished my goal.  The Fated players were all worried at this moment and they all knew the consequences of chasing me.  They would fall down dead in this cemetery at the hands of me, the super level archer!

Fated Madman reached out to block the player behind him.  With a cold smile, he said, “All assassins gather!”
