Virtual World: Conquering the World Chapter 63

Human figures shook as the seven-eight Fated assassin players gathered.  They move at the same time with a tacit understanding, entering a stealth state.

I couldn't help having a chill run down my back.  Assassins were killers hidden in the dark and they couldn't be underestimated unless one wanted to pay a painful price!

So, without another word, I held my Star Chasing Bow as I directly walked on a small path through the cemetery to the forest.

Behind me, a large group of Fated Players appeared, as well as countless Sunset City experts who can to join in the red name trapping.

Behind the Hero Memorial Park was a length of ancient mountains.  When I entered this map, I suddenly received a system prompt.

System Prompt: You have entered the Dark Army's map, Forgotten Valley.   Killing players here does not increase one's sin value!

I was a bit stunned.  The legendary news was true, «Spirit of Grief» was split in half in terms of maps.  One half belonged to the Divine Light Clan and the other half belonged to the Dark Army.  However, I never thought that players entering the Dark Army maps would be able to kill without penalty!

When I stepped into the Forgotten Valley, I had a feeling that I was surrounded by danger and I was in danger of being killed at any second!

However, behind him was the wolf like Fated players and all those self righteous people.  I didn't know how many assassins there were behind me, so I couldn't stop at all!

But, the only good thing about the Forgotten Valley was that killing people wouldn't increase my sin value.  This also meant that I could play this death game with those arrogant people from Fated in this place.

Forgotten Valley, a spacious area that was filled with a lush forest.  Of course, the Light Clan's people living in peace had already forgotten about this place, they couldn't remember the countless beings living in the dark.

Without walking far, I saw a group of axe wielding monsters appearing in front of me.  They were completely black skinned like they had been burnt and their green eyes filled one with panic.  Moreover, there was a pair of small wings on their backs.

I did not even have time to dodge before a Green Eyed Devil suddenly threw its axe at me!

“Pa!”

With a pain from from my chest, I had already lost 600 HP!

I was a bit shocked.  An archer's defense really was god damn lacking!

Quickly using potions, I sent an Armour Piercing Arrow out right after.  In no time, the Green Eyed Devil lost 1546 points of HP!

Even like this, it was not easy for me to deal with an Enhanced Monster, especially one with an annoying throwing attack.  It was lucky that I was a thick skinned archer, otherwise if it was a fragile little mage like Ling Yue, she would have been killed by the Green Eyed Devil's axe!

Sending out several Armour Piercing Arrows, the Green Eyed Devil's HP went black.  After a pitiful cry, that twice the size of a human body fell down and exploded into two glowing gold coins!

At this time, there were several figures who appeared around me, who were the Fated assassins!

I was completely shocked, I never would have thought that they would come so quickly!

“Pa!”

With a cold glow from behind, I felt a pain on my back.  I had been hit by the skill of an assassin in the back as my HP fell by 700!

Turning around, I saw Fated Bloodthirster standing there with a fierce smile.

“Humph!  I must make you die at my feet like a dog!”  Fated Bloodthirster said with a fiendish grin.

I immediately drank a 500 point potion.  My left hand swept out and the Glowing Dagger released a cold glow as it sent an assassin flying.  Right after, I sent an Ice Arrow at Fated Bloodthirster's head, seeing that the 1029 points of damage actually didn't instantly kill him!

Fated Bloodthirster took out a potion and the four other assassins in front of me couldn't wait to move together!

“Pa, pa!”  

With two sounds, I took two hits which I couldn't guard, causing my HP bar to almost empty!

The assassins did not have time to look proud before I had rolled into the bush to the side.  Although there were pangs of pain coursing through my body, I forced it down and did not let out any cries of pain.

Immediately, the several assassins jumped out to follow, but as soon as they did, they saw a rainbow glow turn into several thousand specks of light flying at them!

“Pu, pu, pu, pu!”

The Thousand Bladed Arrows hit the chests of the assassins, sending them flying back in midair.  The Star Chasing Bow's attack power could not be underestimated, not to mention their equipment couldn't compare to Fated Bloodthirsters' so they could not block the might of the Star Chasing Bow at all!

Before the other side stabilized themselves, I had already sent out a second Thousand Bladed Arrows.  None of the seven assassins was spared from this attack and they couldn't block it, so they ran in all directions!

This was the opportunity I was waiting for.  I moved several dozen yards into the forest and with a cold glow from the Star Chasing Bow, an Armour Piercing Arrow was released.  The assassin it was aimed at was stunned and they only awakened after being hit by the Armour Piercing Arrow, dropping a bunch of potions before turning into white light and returning to the city.

The other assassin was filled with panic, quickly searching for cover, but a burning sensation came from in front of him when he raised his foot. The Fire Arrow had hit his armour, dealing a terrifying “1652” damage, instantly killing him!

I revealed a faint smile as I continued forward.  With a flash from the Glowing Dagger, it sliced through the throat of the third assassin.  His mouth went wide, but he couldn't make a sound as he turned into white light flying towards the city!

Since I came out, I didn't plan on hiding.  The Glowing Dagger was quickly put away as another Armour Piercing Arrow flew out.  It entered the chest of a fourth person with a “peng” sound!

“Hua!”

A pile of potions fell to the ground and that assassin was killed before he could even grunt!

Without having time to get their guard up, four of the seven assassins had been killed by me.  The remaining Fated Bloodthirster had moved back to heal and did not dare move forward at all. After all, seeing my attack power, he know how strong I was.

At this time, Fated Bloodthirster gave a cold snort, “Attack at the same time, kill him!”

Instantly, three assassins charged forward, exploding with speed as they flew out like shadows!

My mind was as calm as water.  Looking closely, the Star Chasing Bow was slightly raised as a Fire Arrow hit the chest of left assassin, killing him with a grunt.

At the same time, the potion cooldown came off, so I calmly used a red potion.  My blood quickly restored to half, while also moving backwards to the right. The assassin on the right came close to me, which made him a bit surprised.  Without time to understand what happened, my Glowing Dagger had already entered his chest!

“Chi la!”

The dagger was pulled through the other side's chest and blood spurted out.  This assassin who was only level 27 could not withstand this at all, as he immediately turned into white light and returned to the city!

In the end, there was only Fated Bloodthirster.  It was like he had already gone crazy, charging forward without hesitation as the dagger in his hand ruthlessly stabbed at me!

“Pu~!”

I did not dodge as I directly took his attack.  There was a 624 damage figure that appeared above my head and my remaining HP was less than 100!

But, Fated Bloodthirster did not have time to be happy.  He noticed that I had raised my Star Chasing Bow and there was an ice cold iron arrow head pointed at his neck.

I coldly said, “Go back and tell Fated Madman, if he wants to play, come into the Forgotten Valley.  Father will kill one if one comes and will kill two if two comes!”

“Chi!”

With a white light, Fated Bloodthirster did not get to blink before an Armour Piercing Arrow created a bloody hole in his neck.  His body froze for half a second before it flew off towards the city as white light!

“Pada~!”

With this sound, Fated Bloodthirster's dagger was dropped.  I raised it to take a look and was instantly filled with joy.
