I listened around the people in the streets. Luckily, the body of Li Jin is quite good to use and his hearing is quite good too. Although this is clearly my body now, I can't help feelingbad about it. It was clearly not mine but I instead take over his dead body and forced myself to become him.

The language of this world is clearly foreign to my hearing but my mind automatically processes them like some sort of translator rapidly translating all those foreign words into my own language.

My feet keeps on walking and although my destination is not determined, I was determined to find a good job in this big continent. It would be too impossible for me to never find a f*cking job in this place.

Soon, I saw a restaurant with a big sign outside looking for a helper. I just needed to inquire inside.

"Welcome! Do you want to dine in or dine out?" a pretty woman is currently smiling at me once I entered into the doorway. From the looks of her, she seemed to be already married. And I am not mistaken, a burly guy, wearing a chef's hat and chef's apron appeared on what looks to be the kitchen of this restaurant.

"Uh...I am not going to eat, I was about to inquire about the sign outside the store if it is still available," I asked straight.

"Ah, someone who wants to work? Come in and talk with my husband, he currently needs a helper in gathering some ingredients for the food and drinks," the woman welcomed me in.

The store is similar to a Japanese restaurant with a style of a tavern. There are a few customers happily eating breakfast and I was surprised that the waiters bringing the food and drinks are monkeys! This monkeys are similar to Macaque Monkeys but they are a bit bigger. Also, their fur are color red with strange black stripes. When my eye landed into them, the Book of Divine Creatures appeared and the Divine Creature's data is recorded into it. I was startled since my book materialized all of a sudden and I almost panicked.

"Hey, what are you waiting for?" the woman tilted her head in confusion seeing my startled expression., "Are you okay?"

They can't see the Book of Divine Creatures floating in front of me? I guess this book is only able to materialize and appear only for me. Other people can't see it.

"N-no, I am fine," I said and proceeded to enter the counter and move towards the kitchen.

While I was on the way to the kitchen, I quickly take my eyes on the book to check the info of those Monkeys. I need all info on all Divine Creatures I met to survive this world where I am not familiar.

Cluckads might be chickens in nature but once they saw a human, their demonic and beastly features appear which would rip a human to shreds. I grip a backhand on my dagger and squinted my eyes. I quickly directed Sleepy via telepathic skill that is already an ability to communicate with your Divine Creature easily, calling this, a state of mind.

Might be due to the effect of the Book of Divine Creature that helped me with to portray my commands to my Divine Creature, Sleepy. For the first time, Sleepy showed its small but significant focus is in their big eyes.

The green liquid ooze out and shoots out from Sleepy like a gun into the Cluckads that did not expect the range attack of me. The Cluckads did not get to run away in time due to incoming green liquid and before it can even dodge, the liquid managed to hit the Cluckads.

"Skwa!"

Before it can recover, with a fast backhand gripping a dagger, I strike the Cluckads down.

Swish!

The dagger penetrated the Cluckads' throat and before it can react, it died without even able to launch an attack.

DING!

"KEEPER LEVELED UP FROM LEVEL 0 TO LEVEL 1. POWER TO CONTROL TWO DIVINE CREATURES AT ONCE ACTIVATED. KILL MORE BEASTKINDS TO PURGE ENEMIES OF MANKIND!"

Huh? I leveled up? This did not appear when I killed the Cluckads last time. I did not know there was a leveling system for this one!

I pull out the dagger out from the Cluckads and drag its corpse back to Jon.

"Here is the carcass. The nest of this one must be nearby," I said and handed the carcass.

Jon examined the quest and with the damage of the Cluckads only a bit minimal, he nodded and receive the carcass.

"Good. That was a clean kill, kid. Let's go and find the eggs of that Cluckads then," he said and stored the carcass on his burlap sack that he was carrying.

Sleepy returned toy back and rested but its eyes were open. Looks like this guy is now more vigilant to look for a new enemy than that Cluckads earlier.

We walk a few distance from the place I killed the Cluckads and saw that its nest was indeed nearby. There are four eggs sitting on the nest and ready for the taking.

"Give them to me. You are capable indeed, and that is commendable, I will task you as the main killer of the Beastkinds you encounter. my Shadow Wolf would accompany you in case we find a Boaroas," Jon said as he prepared the Burlap Sack.

I nodded and give the four eggs to him. We walked around more in the forest but the Beastkinds seems to be on the hiding today. We instead found lots of good herbs that Jon personally picked and a few Cluckads eggs that are left alone.

In the end, we found 20 pieces of different herbs, 13 Cluckads Eggs and killed two Cluckads which all ended up inside the burlap sack. The sun is setting down on the horizon and Jon already made me stop the hunt. During the night, most Beastkinds are on the prowl and hunting them are considered hard unless you are an expert and powerful enough.

"Let's go back. We still made a haul today. You are a good help today," Jon nodded before he patted his Shadow Wolf to also go with him.

I followed them and we backtracked on our way before. We did not took a long time to arrive on our destination. We arrive back to the city. The sun has already set when we arrived back to the city but instead of being gloomy, the whole place was lively like back on Earth. The street lights are on, smokes bellows on the chimneys and a few stores are lively. People also move back and forth on the streets. This is a common place during the evening and its not weird anyway.

We returned to the restaurant and the place was already jam packed. Of course we came back door since it would ruin the appetite of the customers currently dining in if we came in with a burlap sack containing two carcass of two Cluckads.

The woman who is tending on the food, approached us and hug Jon and kissed him on his cheek. So she is Jon's wife.

Jon smiled and picked took out all of the Cluckads eggs out and put it on a tray. He also took out the Cluckads' carcasses out. The herbs were handed on his wife. He took out a few coins in his pocket and handed it to me.

"Have dinner with us. You have outstanding capabilities and your Divine Creature was also excellent," Jon patted my shoulder as he led me to their own table. Different dishes were served and it was indeed very appetizing.

"Uh, it is too much..."

"Ah, don't be, you deserve a good meal with a tiresome hunt," Jon said as he sat down on his chair.

His wife also sit down to her chair. I also grab a chair and secured my place on the table. Jon looked around as if looking for someone.

"Where is Penny?"

"Oh? Penny will be here soon..." his wife said and just a coincidence, a girl with a long blue hair that covers her right eye enter the place, panting for quite a while.

"Sorry I am late father and mother!" the girl pant as she tries to catch her breath.

"Ha, you just arrived in time," Jon said as he looked at the new arrival.

I stayed silent and just observed them. I don't have plans to be a talkative person. If someone asked, then I will answer them but that's it.

The girl sits down before she looked at me with confusion.

"Is this the new helper?" the girl asked.

"Yeah, this is Li, Li, this is my daughter Penny, Penny, this is Lin," Jon said as he introduced us together.

I nodded to her but I didn't answer. Its my only response.

"Wow, he is rude."
