"It's actually both," Volta answered as we go to the waiter's lounge where the waiter with the severed arm and Erina are waiting.
"What do you mean?" I was confused.
"He was originally a human until he was unfortunately killed by that monster. Then after his death, his skin is used as the main guise of the monster that is why when that guy entered earlier, he was very abnormal-looking and incredibly bloated than usual. But monsters are master of disguise, they can blend in without any problem," Volta said before opening the door in the lounge and crouches to check the severed arm of the waiter.
"It can be reattached no problem," Volta said and picked up the severed hand. The waiter already fainted from the pain so Volta did not have any struggles problem.
Erina had her eyes fixed on the arm and she was almost fainted seeing the arm reattached by Volta. Volta just put the severed arm into the waiter's bloody shoulder and with a wave with Volta's mana resonating, I can see the nerves and the bone that got severed reconnect like nothing happened.
"W-what are you..." Erina did not get to finish what she was about to say when Volta raised his free palm and aim it on Erina.

Volta's fingers glow a bit and expand around but it didn't last long before he moves outside the waiter's lounge leaving the waiter sleeping on the couch. I carried the unconscious Erina out of the lounge and carry her by princess carrying her. She was not heavy anyway so it didn't make it hard to carry her out.
I saw Volta scan around the place and clap his hands twice. What happened next makes me believe more that the magic powers really exist.
The debris from the battle earlier with the crab guy slowly return to its original place like nothing happened. The scattered chairs and tables along with the broken plates and glasses all returned to their place in which they moved on their own. I was enthralled by everything happening but when Volta looked into the monster's body, I was stunned when Volta summoned a strong electric current and throws it into the monster's body. The dead body got roasted before it was reduced to ashes.
"No way!" I exclaimed seeing the spotless tiles on the floor as the monster's guy's remains are all gone in a snap.
"Yes way, now hurry up or we will be discovered here by the responding people. I can't afford them seeing me even though I want them to see my dashing looks," Volta said.
Ugh, still so narcissistic as ever but I can say that he really is dashing with that electric power of him. I wonder if I will be able to do it too soon. We quickly left the restaurant. I put the core inside my trusty sling bag that I always bring with me for stuffing a few good things with me. It barely stuff the core inside but it was still stored successfully. I carry Erina by piggyback since it would be hard if I always princess carry her. And sh*t I forgot to pay for my food.
"Voltsan, can I return to the restaurant?" I asked quickly.
"Huh? Why are you going back to that damnable place?" his eyebrow raised, confused about why I will go back there.
"I forgot to pay for my food. I don't want to dine and dash!" I answered.
"Pft, there is no need to fear, Volta is here. Our presence there is already erased, even the CCTV cameras are useless. No one would remember what sh*t we did there. So don't worry about it, treat it as food served for free, I sometimes do that if I am short in money," Volta said while nonchalantly walking while holding his phone.
"But what if someone gets to remember me?" I anxiously asked.

Volta is much taller than me and I was only as high as Volta's shoulder.
