Chat Group For Magicians Chapter 149 Another Brawl Part 1

Morning came once again. Still, I was already awake before the time can be called officially as morning. When the morning sun already have risen in the sky, I returned to the building and did all of the necessary things like taking a bath, eating breakfast and other necessary things for me to prepare. I have been getting the hang of getting back in school. And although I have not gained any friends if you exclude Erina who keeps nagging on me every day, I am still fine being alone.

Today is another ordinary day for me and I was just too bored to keep myself on the run with these things. No new development for the case of the school's random awakenings. There is also no progress with Mirai's case. I didn't bother to deal with her case for now because she is still far from the time needed for the investigations to start. On the other hand, exams are almost underway. I am not sure whether I can do good with the exams. I can't say I am cheating but everything is already imprinted to my mind the book I already read like a hard copy.

Still, without anything to progress into, everything is not so fine for me. As I arrived at the school gate, I noticed that there are lots of delinquents in the area. Not that I care too much but I never knew that they liked to hang out around here. When I stare at them, they would start glaring at me like I was their prey or something. Of course, those glares barely did anything to me. I just grinned and shrugged it off with that. Ever since I became a magician, everything that should make me fear is something weird now to me. Those glares are just similar to how someone is looking at you normally.

Without taking too much care of what was really happening, I noticed that the guards assigned on the gates are not on as always. I frowned because this wasn't normally done. But now that I think about it, there seemed to be something strange going on around. I can't really tell too much but yes, everything is getting weirder especially when the guards are no longer there stationed.

I entered the gates and goes straight to the entrance of the building. However, what I saw there are a bunch of delinquents holding baseball bats, and 2x4 sticks. Some even brought a folding chair that is usually used in WWE wrestling. The sheer amount of delinquents around can make anyone back off in fright but not me. Although it was kinda weird, I didn't bother what these people want. Maybe they are doing some sort of delinquent flash mob? I don't care, I just wanted to go to the classroom and take a nap before the teacher comes in.

However, before I can even pass through the entrance, the delinquents started to block my way and they started surrounding me, leaving me standing in the center of the circle of delinquents trying to take advantage of me. I raised an eyebrow and looked at them with weird looks.

"What are you blocking me off. Excuse me, I want to get inside."

"F*ck off, you think I would obey you?" the delinquent said with a slight poke in my forehead. However, his finger did not manage to reach my forehead when I flick it away with my hands.

"Hands off, man. I don't know what kind of sh*t you are currently holding earlier."

The delinquent grinned and his eyes glint before he swings his baseball bat in my direction. The only problem for him is that I just can't do that.

One of the delinquents was hit accidentally. Now I know what is getting weird now. It was due to these people. Now, all of the delinquents are gathered in the area. I wonder if they are trying to target me? The delinquents saw the cause and now they started to gather and attack me one by one. I escaped, of course, no point fighting someone who can't be negotiated. The only problem is that the whole place is being blocked off by a delinquent, leaving me alone and defenseless without anyone to aid me.

Soon, the delinquents attacked me with their weapons. I didn't bother and quickly escaped using [Agility].  Since they are humans, my magic is limited only to enhancing magic. I can't attack with the thought of injuring someone using magic. But I don't have to worry much about it, I am already a master of fighting.

The delinquents started attacking randomly. Many are going straight and trying to lock me dead. Some have taken some distance and observed for now so that they can conduct a strategy on how to take me down while some didn't bother and just continues to relax.

Without waiting, I traded blows to the delinquents. These guys are weaklings and they are relying on weapons more. Some may have brought weapons but many are still doing the basic fist fighting.

Dodge here, dodge there, kick here, block there... many kinds of movements can be utilized easily once the enemies started to gather, I also need to be on constant move so that I won't be cornered. Many delinquents have been sent unconscious already so I didn't bother increasing the power of my fists. However, I suddenly heard a voice coming from the speakers.

"What are you all doing? Cripple him! He is just alone!  Crippling him is going to be easy on you lot! Why can't you all do it quickly?!"

I quickly recognized that raspy voice. I shooked at this sight as I saw the delinquents rushing to me one by one or by group. One thing is sure, they are trying to bring me down but I didn't really care if they didn't. Seeing that it was Sou who did this delinquent gathering, I wouldn't mind playing with his game.

This event is very similar to the time I was hanged upside down on a tree and I was being released with a barrage of pellet bullets. The only difference between today and in the past, the past was more focused on my weak self. The person who never knows what to do and the person who never gets to fight back. But now, I am not the same person. If he was about to show me what hell is like, then I will show him what real terror is because he just messed up the very wrong person. And that person he just messed up is me.

Many are thugs and when they started to see me, they would immediately act like a tank allowing them to deal with the damage I deal with them while the smaller build people will have no trouble attacking me. These guys have a knack on this! Unfortunately, this was nothing much. A guy so burly and full of muscle doesn't mean he is a walking tank. 

Without hesitation, I attacked the bigger-bodied thugs with rapid punches in the diaphragm before doing a leg constriction.

"F*ck!!!! It hurts! It hurts!"

The big body tank guy fell into the ground crouching his injury. I looked at the others and grinned with a sinister look on my eyes.

"So, who's next..."
