"We magicians are considered as the selected humans to protect the world from the threat of demons and monsters without the world knowing. Its our job to keep them safe without being the source of panic itself. Our presence are not necessary to be known to the world. It is much better if they only thought that we are just their imagination or just legends.

"Kazuma, you are someone who is going to be involved into a large scale battle that will affect the world soon. And for you, you need to become a strong magician. Your hardworking will be the only thing that will keep you alive in this world of magic," the Oracle said and as she finished the last sentence, she suddenly hover in the air and slowly floated up above.

Is that the levitation magic?

Several Magic Circles appeared around us. I can't count the magic circles because they are too numerous. I counted twelve earlier but it is still getting numerous. Type rotated like gears slowly at first but they slowly begin to rotate in a fast motion. Even Moonlight instinctively steps back due to the immense magic. The whole place turned windy all of a sudden but the Oracle continued to hover up in the air. It was more like she is glowing with a shining light that people might mistook of her as a god.

As soon as the Magic Circles stopped rotating, the whole chaotic place returned to its usual calm. The Oracle also returned to the ground and her glowing eyes returned to normal.

She blinked a bit before she returned to her own self. Her eyes stares into mine. Just by looking into her eyes is like diving into the void.

"Before you go, you need to take this," The Oracle flicked her hands and a small white egg-like shaped object appeared in her hands.

"Hatch this little egg. The creature inside will surely aid you in the future. Do not neglect it," The Oracle said and slowly returned to the chair.

I was mesmerized by the egg. It feels gelatinous to the touch and yet its solid. Its a very curious object. I looked into the Oracle for a further explanation but she closed her eyes and she is already back to her old form when we just entered her domain. Moonlight pulled me away.

"The Oracle is already finished on her business about you. She needs to rest," Moonlight explained.

I still have a few questions but Moonlight already dragged me away from the area. My questions are still unanswered. However, what can I do? I don't have a choice but to return with Moonlight and Itazura.

After Kazuma and the others returned, the Oracle slowly opened her eyes and her expression turned into a frown.

"The future is much more bleaker than I thought, peering into it is much harder to do now. I hope that I am just wrong about it..."
