This is bullsh*t, you know that? How did a seed became a caretaker of a tree? What kind of logic is that? This is the first time I heard of a seed taking care of a tree... wait, I never even saw it the other way around! What kind of messed up stuff is this?

The Crystal Seed led me deeper into the consciousness of mine making me wander off from what I am thinking earlier. At first, it was just me and the glowing oval light of the Crystal Seed but not long after we reached the deepest part of the area that the scenery have changed drastically. Instead of the dark place, it turned out to be lush in greenery and plant life. You would never anticipate it at all to be present in this area.

"What is this place?" I looked around the place and I thought I was transported into another world.

"This is the place where the Mana Tree is growing. This tree is currently the newborn tree and it is still rather short of around 30 feet tall at the moment. It will take some time before it will grow taller since this Tree is still a sapling," the crystal seed explained.

This is not the height of a tree sapling. This is a height of a monstrous tree that is hollowed out on the bottom to be built as a temporary shelter. And as I stare on the top, I can only see the horizon, I can't even see the very top. And the seed calls this a sapling?!

I was surprised at first and before I can even recover from the confirmation, I was sent back to my body and consciousness. I quickly opened my eyes and realized that I was back to the real world. I was lying in my bed. Itazura is sleeping in my lap in her fox form. I stroked her head and she snuggled closer.

A girl entered the door followed by two people, a guy and another girl. Of course, these are Yaya, Moonlight and Volta. From their haggard looks, it seems the battle did not go too well but they emerge victorious. There were several bandages around their arms and foreheads but they looked fine.

"Kazuma? You are up?" Moonlight asked, she was worried about me.

"I am fine but I felt groggy at the moment, what happened?" I asked.

"We managed to fend off the enemies after you collapsed. We are very grateful to you using the Burning Spirit skill, but you shouldn't do it a again. It would get hard if you collapsed again after using that magic.

I smiled and shook my head.

"Nah, no worries. I always bring trouble to you guys anyway so I hope that I can help in someway," I said to them.

"Oh don't worry too much on it. And besides, its not like you can't get stronger. You were just dragged on the wrong battle so that is why you collapsed. We understand that. And besides, your help tremendously allowed us to get out of that mess. We would be a goner if you did not do it," Yaya smiled.

"But Kazuma, you should have not used that magic earlier. If you had exhausted most of your mana, you might have died. Luckily, you still have a small amount of mana left in your body that saved your life. If not, you would be in dire trouble," Volta reminded me.

"We had already reported the outcome of the battle into the chat group. According to Zacharias, you will get a reward for your help, you should expect one Kazuma," Moonlight happily said to me.

"How many hourse did I passed out anyway?" I asked.

"Around 3 hours at best. You recovered fast enough and I never expected you are about to increase your mana capacity already. I think it might have triggered a bit of your awakening after the battle earlier, so I am not surprised," Yaya shrugged.

"3 hours? That short?" I was startled on what they said. I usually need to rest for around 6 hours long to fully recover my mana if I drained out after constant training. Since I almost drained out of mana, I should have to rest for a few hours more. How come did I recovered immediately?"

"We won't disturb you any further Kazuma, rest well,"the three waved goodbye and left my room, closing it lightly. Only Itazura accompanied me in there. I pondered a bit on what might have occurred on my fast recovery. It was totally impossible to regain that much mana in a short amount of time so my guess immediately fall into that new thing that emerge in my consciousness. Does that mean, the Mana Tree helped me recover? I had no idea at all. But one thing is for sure, I am going to get stronger to avoid that event again due to the fact that I was too weak.
