Chat Group For Magicians 1 Invited to the Chat group

I pinched my nose a bit due to the itchy feeling on my nose. It's been a while since I have done shopping on my own. And although I can make money from translating Japanese to English transcripts, novels, and a few kinds of stuff, it's enough to buy cup noodles and stuff but it's just a petty amount of money.

I scan around the shelves and pick out a wasabi flavored cup noodles. I don't understand why people don't love this flavor, whenever I pick up one, the surrounding customers look at me with strange looks in their eyes. Are they looking at me due to my handsome face? Nope, that is impossible, I have not even taken my haircut and my beard is quite long. I look like a geezer too.

I put the two cup noodles on the counter. I took out my phone and check a bit and seeing that there are no worthwhile things to check, I decided to put it back when a notification appeared on my phone.

Huh? A group Chat? Nah, I'll check that later. Group chats are commonplace ever since Discord and other platforms for chatting other people are on fire today. Being added by other people is not a rare thing.

"Two cup noodles, 1000 yen is the total cost," she said and smiled at me.

I grab my wallet in my hoodie pocket and fetch the 1000 yen and paid the two cup noodles.

I grab the plastic bag containing the cup of ramen before exiting.

I froze after hearing my name. I look back and she is currently calling me. She did not forget my name.

"Kazuma, when are you going to return to school?" Erina asked. She managed to see through my concealment.

I turned away without looking back. I step out and left the convenience store to avoid Erina's nagging. It is not the first time she nagged me to go back to school. Whenever she meets me, she will then keep on nagging me to go back.

It's been 7 months since I decided to drop out of school after some sort of humiliation that I can't forget.

I got stripped almost naked and got tied up from a tree. I am not fully naked but I only wore my boxer shorts and every student at the school laughed out loud and made fun of me. The bullies who did it even made me a human target range from their pellet guns which f*cking hurts.

The teachers did not stop them, afraid that the founder of the school, father of one of the bullies who stripped me might fire them out on the job. No other students helped me and even Reina can't do anything. That day, I saw all of my "friends" turn away from me, and left me to experience a humiliation that I would always bring in my mind forever and besides, I am an orphan and I don't have any relative that might help me on it. Only this house is said to be the only property left by my parents for me.

I fear going back to school. That place is not a place of learning, its a place of hell. I prefer to stay in the old house.

After walking for quite a while, I saw the old house that looks modern in the outside but rickety in the inside. That is currently my house. In other's perspective, the house is classy and comfy. Yes, it's comfy but not to the level of comfy that many people experience in their own houses.

This ancestral house has been passed down by my ancestors to their grandchildren until it was now in my hands. I sighed deeply again. If not due to my parents dying very early, I wouldn't be suffering much, but what can I do? I am always like that.

I put down the cups of wasabi flavored ramen into the table and I sat on the sofa and closed my eyes. They are heavy for quite a while, I have been working hard for days but what I am working hard with? I can't help hate my life...

7. Don't disturb others when they are practicing, just ping the others if they are really important matters.

8. And lastly, do not reveal to the public about the existence of magicians. We minimize our presence, not enhance and show it to the world.

I scratch my head. Is this a magician chat group or something? From its chat group name, I thought it was a chat group consisting of hackers, but after reading the rules, I have my doubts.

"Ouch! This is not a dream!" I shouted again. I stare at the gloves. How did these gloves appear out on my phone?!
