Chapter 30 . 3: A Challenge

That voice was as chilly as ever which crushed the hopes of everyone there .

Till the night’s banquet ended, the people still had not recovered from the shock .

Early the next morning, news that the Crown Princess Duanmu Xi and Duke Jing’s Heir Duanmu Qing would duel at the Vermillion Bird Arena in three days’ time quickly spread throughout the entire capital .

Once such explosive news came out, it immediately became the talk of the town, with people talking about it while having tea and it was the topic of discussion while having their meals .

In the Heavenly Fragrance Pavilion situated within the Vermillion Bird Kingdom’s Imperial Capital, three young ladies were having their morning tea .

The three of them kept looking outside, seemingly waiting for someone .

Overhearing the girls’ conversation, a red clothed man at the next table lifted up an eyebrow, his face lighting up with interest . ”

The clothed man’s eyes narrowed and the corner of his lips curled up into a sinister smile, which suited his face that looked both male and female perfectly, highly alluring .
