Chapter 15 . 2: Keep Yourself Chaste for Me

Before Duanmu Xi was even able to react, Xuanyuan Mo slipped his arm around Duanmu Xi in an embrace, and brought her flying out of the cave behind the waterfall .

Duanmu Xi was shocked by Xuanyuan Mo’s sudden actions and her small hands gripped his waist tightly as she buried her face into his chest .

Xuanyuan Mo’s body stiffened and his heart skipped a beat . He had initially had no other intention but to quickly bring her over to the lake’s shore on the other side but now he just wished that time would forever stop at this very moment .

But they finally arrived at the bank and the two people parted from each other like lightning .

“I apologize . I must have startled you . I… . . ”

Xuanyuan Mo was rather flustered and awkward as he had never been so close to any girl before and he did not know how to explain himself .

Looking at Xuanyuan Mo’s red face, Duanmu Xi thought that the man was rather shy and gets embarrassed easily, which caused even her usually cold and icy self to be unable to help herself but want to tease him .

Duanmu Xi turned herself around and looked at Xuanyuan Mo with a serious face .

“You do not need to be nervous . I will take responsibility . And remember my name, I am Duanmu Xi . You belong to me from now onwards . You have better keep yourself chaste and untainted . If you are dirtied, I will reject the goods . ”

“… . . ” Xuanyuan Mo turned into stone and froze there in his spot, not noticing that Duanmu Xi had walked a far distance away .

[What does she mean by taking responsibility and keeping himself chaste? Hasn’t she gotten things the wrong way around?]

“You clearly said that you will take responsibility for me just now and now you’re going back on your word so soon?”

“… . . ” [What does he mean? What kind of an expression was that? Why does it feel like after she has explained herself, he seems to be acting mighty weird?]

“You took advantage of me just now and now you do not want to take responsibility?”

“… . . ” Duanmu Xi stared at Xuanyuan Mo like she had just seen a ghost, never thinking that the cold and indifferent youth would have such a shameless side to him .

“Of course . ”

This time it was Duanmu Xi who turned into stone . Never had she thought that the first time she came to crack a joke in eighteen years would cause her to be laden with such a great burden . If she had known, she wouldn’t have joked so carelessly even if she was beaten to death .
