Chapter 41 . 3: Little Lass, how about you take me as your Master?

Suddenly, a large stack of dry branches appeared before them and Xuanyuan Mo was stunned .

She saw his stupefied expression and laughed out as she said teasingly, “What’s the matter? This is only the lowest level skill of the wood element . ”

What the two of them did not know was that there was a white haired old man that was lying up on a branch of a big tree nearby who was drinking from his wine gourd and watching every movement of theirs .

After a while, Phoenix Fifth came back with two wild chickens .

When Duanmu Xi saw the chickens, she immediately thought of her grandfather’s favourite dish ‘beggar’s chicken’ and she also hasn’t eaten it for a long time .

“Pass it to me . ”

When Phoenix Fifth saw her reach hand out, she felt overwhelmed and quickly said, “No need Your Highness, let me do it . ”

“Give it to me . ”

Duanmu Xi did not pay attention to Phoenix Fifth’s position and continued on with the usual domineering voice that did not allow any room for rejection .

Phoenix Fifth could only pass the two wild chickens to Duanmu Xi helplessly .

When she took the wild chickens, she swept her gaze at the surroundings .

Perhaps because the weather of the Vermilion Bird Kingdom was like summer, the plants around were all mainly tropical plants .

She saw several banana trees and pulled out two large leaves . This banana leaf was good for detoxification .

She folded the leaves and wrapped the wild chickens within each leaf and then covered it with a layer of soil which she then buried it in the ground and finally, she put the dry branches on it and lit them up .

Xuanyuan Mo and Phoenix Fifth looked at Duanmu Xi’s action and they were both dumbfounded . Although they did not understand what she was doing, but neither of them asked her as they sat in the same place and looked on in anticipation .

When the old man on the tree saw all of this, a hint of interest flashed by his eyes .

This little girl turned out to be a double element attribute master of both fire and wood, and the fire she used did not seem to be any ordinary fire .

After the time it took to burn an incense stick passed, Duanmu Xi moved the bonfire away and started digging out from beneath . She then broke the layer of soil with a dagger to revealed the banana leaves from within .

Duanmu Xi slowly peeled off the banana leaves and suddenly the fragrant aroma filled the air .

The moment they smelled the amazing smell, Xuanyuan Mo and Phoenix Fifth could not help but swallow their saliva .

Duanmu Xi used the dagger and cut the chicken in half and passed it to Phoenix Fifth, and passed the other half to Xuanyuan Mo .

She then handled the other chicken and called Lan Ze and Scarlet out .

A dazzling blue and red light flashed . It was not a Water Qilin and a scarlet red Vermillion but a Water Qilin and a beautiful young girl that appeared instead .

The girl was dressed in red and she was graceful, charming and alluring .

“Scarlet?” Duanmu Xi asked .

“Mistress . ” It was the same beautiful familiar voice .

It was really Scarlet and she had transformed into a human .

Duanmu Xi turned back and looked for Lan Ze . She saw that he couldn’t wait and rushed over . He picked up the chicken in anticipation and was about to put it into his mouth .

He didn’t expect a figure to suddenly flash by, and the fragrant chicken in Lan Ze’s claws disappeared…
