Chapter 12 . 1: To the Dragon Palace for a Free Ride

“Prince Wo Ke, your subordinate received an important piece of news . It’s about Young Lord Mo . ”

It was the snow wolf up upon the roof earlier .

The green eyes of the youth named Wo Ke lit up .

After Wo Ke heard the news, a sinister looking smile then showed on his good looking face .

“My Prince, Young Lord Mo is not in the Wolf King Palace now and this is a great opportunity . ”

Wo Ke waved his hand dismissively . “To deal with him, I do not even have to do it myself . Send the news to that woman and we’ll just sit back and enjoy the show . ”

Lai Ka’s eyes shone and the corners of his mouth immediately lifted up in an evil smile .

“My Prince is indeed very wise . ”

Duanmu Xi looked at the two huge characters that read as “Dragon Palace”, and her brows creased together .

“Why have we come here?”

Lan Ze raised an eyebrow nonchalantly . “To find us a free ride . ”

A corner of Duanmu Xi’s mouth twitched . [A free ride? He couldn’t possibly be talking about the Dragon King right?]

[Heh heh Mistress, wait and see . ]

“Who dares come trespass into the Dragon Palace! ?”

The shrimp and crab soldiers standing guard outside the Dragon Palace saw Duanmu Xi and Lan Ze and they immediately raised their long spears .

Lan Ze’s eyes turned icy and his oppressive aura of a Divine Beast killed that shrimp soldier in an instant .

“Get your Dragon King to come out to meet me . ”

Lan Ze’s ice cold gaze turned with a swoosh onto a crab soldier frozen in terror at the side .

The crab soldier immediately snapped to its senses and quickly wobbled tremblingly into the Dragon Palace .

After a while, the Dragon King of the Boundless Sea came hurrying out .

“Lord Qilin . You… . . You… . . You… . . ”

The Dragon King had been about to greet respectfully but upon seeing the level of Lan Ze’s cultivation, he was too shocked for words .

Seeing the Dragon King’s face twisted up in shock, Lan Ze’s mouth curled up in disdain .

“What about me? I’ve merely gone back to the fourth level . What’s so shocking about that?”

Starting his cultivation all over again, the speed he had progressed at had been very fast . He believes that it wouldn’t be much longer before he would be able to regain his cultivation to the level he had been before .

Ignoring the flabbergasted expression on the Dragon King’s face, Lan Ze pulled Duanmu Xi and made his own way into the Dragon Palace .

Once inside the Dragon Palace, Lan Ze went on to sit himself down right upon the Dragon King’s throne and asked even asked Duanmu Xi to sit as well .

“I wonder what could be the purpose of Lord Qilin’s visit be?”

The Dragon King asked as he looked at Lan Ze warily .

“I want the Water Dispelling Pearl . ”

Without a single word of the usual superfluous pleasantries, Lan Ze dived straight to the point .

Duanmu Xi’s eyes flashed . Although she did not know why Lan Ze wanted the Water Dispelling Pearl, she did not say a word but just sat there silently at the side .

“Lord Qilin, you’ve got to be kidding… . . ”

The Dragon King’s voice was shaking slightly .
