Chapter 40 . 1: Contented Having Him In This Life 

She was really just too beautiful today .

Duanmu Xi was usually just dressed in white most of the time and though she was still beautiful looking, her beauty today felt so surreal to see, like a fairy from the celestial Heavenly Palace, ephemeral and mystifying .

“Thank you Father and Mother, but Little Xi already has someone I like . ”

The single statement put out so lightly caused Xuanyuan Mo to retract his icy aura, and his entire person seemed to relax .

“Oh? Since Little Xi already has someone you like, then let your Imperial Mother go make a proposal in marriage for you to have you married immediately, so that your Imperial Mother can carry my Imperial Grandchild as soon as possible . ”
