Chapter 24 . 2: I’m Her Fiance

“Little Xi, you’ve come back at last… . . ”

He muttered softly in indescribable joy .

Seeing the two figures hugging, Xuanyuan Mo felt a certain wistfulness in his heart, a dull ache inside, that came make his breathing become slightly erratic .

“Father… . . ”

Duanmu Xi called out in a whisper .

[Father . Has he crossed over to come into this world as well? That’s highly possible . Grandfather had not been able to locate Father’s body back then . ]

Duanmu Xi’s world was now in a whirl, her mind in one big mess, unable to make head or tail of all the thoughts going through her head .

Phoenix Fifth could not help but secretly roll her eyes .

Huangfu Che gently released Duanmu Xi and then turned his head to stare at the bunch of black robed assassins before his thin lips parted slightly: “Leave none alive . ”

They are father and daughter indeed . Even their orders were the same .

The leader of the assassins saw that things had taken a bad turn and he wanted to sneak away . He was just going to move when he was killed by a bolt of green spirit energy .

Xuanyuan Mo stared at Huangfu Che and his brows creased up slightly .

With the leader of the assassins dead, the fight quickly ended, and the black robed assassins were completely annihilated .

Huangfu Che stared coldly at the corpse on the ground .

“Execute all of them by fire . ”

[Since they dared to come make a move on his Little Xi, their very bones must be crushed and the ashes scattered . ]

“Yes, Your Highness . ”

The gazes of the two men met and sparks ignited . On the other side, the Phoenix Guards had lit a fire, to have all the black robed assassins incinerated .

At that moment, the already feisty and fiery night then crescendoed with the skies lit in a blazing glow .

The two men stood there with their gazes locked, and it was not known how much time had passed before Huangfu Che came to slowly turned his eyes away to look at Duanmu Xi .

“Little Xi, aren’t you going to do the introductions?”
