Feng Kai Ze spent a whole day looking for Da Tian Ting. He was worried the Hong siblings did something to her so he called Yang Fei to help him find Da Tian Ting.

Feng Jia Yong saw Feng Kai Ze called Yang Fei’s phone, and answered the call.

‘If you want someone from Feng’s company to help you then come home right now,’ Feng Jia Yong said.

‘Where’s Yang Fei?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘Come home right now,’ Feng Jai Yong said. ‘If you don’t, you’ll regret it.’

Feng Jai Yong hung up, and gave the phone back to Yang Fei. Feng Jai Yong received a phone call from Hong Shi Na’s father who took Hong Shi Na to the hospital because Feng Kai Ze injured her arm. Then her father took her to the Feng Mansion to ask him to discipline Feng Kai Ze.

‘Shi Na, does your arm still hurt?’ Dai Fang Dung asked.

‘Aunty, my arm doesn’t hurt anymore,’ Hong Shi Na said.

Hong Shi Na didn’t show her anxiety.

‘Little sister, you don’t need to cover up your pain for Kai Ze’s sake,’ Hong Shi Chi said.

‘Big brother, it’s not Kai Ze’s fault,’ Hong Shi Na said. ‘It was an accident.’

If Feng Kai Ze found out Hong Shi Na came to his father’s home to scheme against him, he would hate her more. But her father saw the bruise on her arm, and made her come to the Feng Mansion to get answers.

‘Jia Yong, I hope you’ll discipline your son today,’ Hong Tian Fang said. ‘Shi Na is my little princess. Even a small scratch on her hurts my heart. Look at her injured arm. If it was an accident, I would let it go. But your son injured her arm.’

‘Tian Fang, if this is Kai Ze’s fault, I promise I’ll discipline him to your satisfaction,’ Feng Jia Yong said.

Hong Shi Na was the only person who noticed Dai Fang Dung looked disapprovingly at her. She knew Dai Fang Dung saw straight through her, and that she did something to provoke Feng Kai Ze.

‘Jia Yong, do you think we should reconsider our children’s marriage?’ Hong Tian Fang asked.

‘There is nothing to reconsider, the wedding is set for next month,’ Feng Jia Yong said.

Feng Jia Yong was adamant Feng Kai Ze had to marry Hong Shi Na.

‘Shi Na told me Kai Ze hates her,’ Hong Tian Fang said. ‘I don’t want my daughter to have an unhappy marriage.’

‘Dad, I want to marry Kai Ze,’ Hong Shi Na said.

‘Dad, Shi Na and Kai Ze’s engagement is all over the media,’ Hong Shi Chi said. ‘It’ll be bad publicity if Shi Na breaks off the engagement. Besides, Shi Na loves Kai Ze.’

‘How Kai Ze feels toward Shi Na matters too,’ Hong Tian Fang said.

‘It’s settled,’ Feng Jia Yong said. ‘If I decided Kai Ze is marrying Shi Na, he’ll marry her.’

Hong Tian Fang knew his daughter marrying into the Feng Household would make Hong Shi’s company prosper. But his daughter’s happiness was important to him too.

‘Why did you ask me to come here?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

Hong Tian Fang wasn’t impressed with his future son-in-law’s rudeness.

‘Don’t you know how to greet guests?’ Feng Jia Yong asked.

‘They are your guests, not mine,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘It’s you!’ Hong Shi Chi said.

‘And you’re Hong Shi Chi,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Big brother, do you know Kai Ze?’ Hong Shi Na asked.

Hong Shi Na thought if Hong Shi Chi and Feng Kai Ze were friends, Hong Shi Chi could help her get closer to Feng Kai Ze.

‘We met once,’ Hong Shi Chi said. ‘Little sister, do you know about Kai Ze’s girlfriend?’

‘Big brother…’ Hong Shi Na said.

Hong Shi Na wanted to keep Da Tian Ting a secret, because she didn’t want her family to stop her from marrying Feng Kai Ze.

‘Shi Chi, did you say Kai Ze has a girlfriend?’ Hong Tian Fang asked.

‘Dad, several days ago I saw Kai Ze took his girlfriend to a restaurant,’ Hong Shi Chi said. ‘They were affectionate toward each other in public.’

Hong Tian Fang stood, and pulled Feng Kai Ze’s shirt collar.

‘Feng Kai Ze, you need to apologise to my daughter!’ Hong Tian Fang said.

Feng Kai Ze pushed Hong Tian Fang off him.

‘Hong Tian Fang, take a good look at the truth,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I never agreed to marry your daughter. She is no one to me. Why do I need to apologise to her?’

Hong Shi Chi stood in between Hong Tian Fang and Feng Kai Ze, and he shoved Feng Kai Ze’s chest.

‘Feng Kai Ze, you dare lay your hands on my father?’ Hong Shi Chi asked.

‘Your father laid his hands on me first,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘How can you disrespect an elder?’ Hong Shi Chi asked

‘Disrespect?’ Feng Kai Ze asked. ‘From the start I never agreed to marry Hong Shi Na. If you and your family are desperate to marry her off, find a ghost to marry her.’

‘You!’ Hong Tian Fang and Hong Shi Chi said at the same time.

‘Dad, big brother, this is all a misunderstanding,’ Hong Shi Na said.

‘It’s not a misunderstanding,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I have a girlfriend. I love my girlfriend, and she’s the only woman I’m marrying. Even if Hong Shi Na was the only woman left in the world, I wouldn’t marry a useless pampered princess like her.’

Feng Kai Ze didn’t need to avoid Hong Shi Chi, because Yang Fei restrained Hong Shi Chi’s arm behind his back.

‘Mr Hong junior, this is the Feng residence, if you take another swing at young master Feng then I won’t be courteous,’ Yang Fei said.

‘Shi Chi, don’t be disrespectful in front of elders,’ Hong Tian Fang said.

Dai Fang Dung could let insults slide, but she hated seeing anyone harm Feng Kai Ze.

‘Tian Feng, you came here to speak on behalf of your daughter,’ Dai Fang Dung said. ‘That I can understand. But I’m not going to standby, and let you and your family injure Kai Ze.’

Hong Shi Na didn’t want her future mother-in-law to hate her more.

Hong Shi Chi was frustrated to see his father bow down to Feng Jia Yong. Feng’s company was a richer company than Hong Shi’s company, but Hong Shi’s company wasn’t a small fry.

‘Tian Fang, don’t think you can look down on my family because Kai Ze is marrying Shi Na,’ Feng Jia Yong said.

‘It’s all a misunderstanding,’ Hong Tian Fang said. ‘Kai Ze injured Shi Na’s arm. I only came here to hear Kai Ze apologise to Shi Na.’

‘Kai Ze, apologise to Shi Na,’ Feng Jia Yong said.

‘I don’t need to apologise to her,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘She jammed her arm against a door.’

‘Shi Na, tell everyone how you injured your arm,’ Dai Fang Dung said.

‘It’s my fault,’ Hong Shi Na said.

‘Feng Kai Ze injured Shi Na’s arm,’ Hong Shi Chi said.

‘Kai Ze, is Shi Na telling the truth?’ Dai Fang Dung asked.

‘It’s her fault for holding onto my waist without my permission,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I gave her several warnings to let go of me, injuring her arm is nothing. If she dares touch me again, I’ll cut off her arm.’

Feng Kai Ze walked to Yang Fei, and gave him a warning.

‘Yang Fei, this is the first time you betrayed me,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze walked past Yang Fei, and left the Feng Mansion. Da Tian Ting wouldn’t have misunderstood and left him if Yang Fei didn’t give his address to Hong Shi Na.

The Hong family heard the Feng Kai Ze’s heartless tone of voice, and they understood why it was rare for outsiders to know Feng Kai Ze’s identity.

Dai Fang Dung was angry the Hong family ganged up on Fang Kai Ze.

‘Shi Na, you should know Kai Ze is someone with set principals,’ Dai Fang Dung said. ‘Kai Ze wouldn’t lay a finger on anyone who didn’t provoke him. I believe Kai Ze gave you many chances to let go of him before he bruised your arm. If you don’t want Kai Ze to cut off your arm, heed his warning and don’t touch him again.’

Dai Fang Dung stood, and walked upstairs.

The Hong family wanted to order Dai Fang Dung to come back for them to insult and hit her.

‘Tian Fang, don’t come here again to ask me to discipline my son when it’s your daughter who’s in the wrong,’ Feng Jia Yong said. ‘Kai Ze is the heir of Feng’s company. Hong Shi’s company will rely on his guidance in the future, you and your family should respect his reasonable boundaries.’

‘I’m sorry,’ Hong Tian Fang said. ‘I should have waited to listen to Kai Ze’s explanation before jumping to the wrong conclusions.’

Hong Shi Chi didn’t think he and his family did anything wrong, it was Feng Kai Ze who injured Hong Shi Na’s arm.

‘Everyone should leave,’ Feng Jia Yong said. ‘We’ll postpone the wedding day to give Kai Ze time to accept Shi Na.’

‘I agree,’ Hong Tian Fang said.

Hong Tian Fang led his disgruntled family outside the Feng Mansion.

Hong Shi Na didn’t agree to have the wedding day postponed, but her impulsiveness made Feng Kai Ze have a poorer impression of her.

In the car, Hong Shi Chi didn’t hold back his tongue.

‘Dad, why did we have to bow down to the Feng family?’ Hong Shi Chi asked.

‘Shi Chi, we shouldn’t let our emotions rule us,’ Hong Tian Fang said. ‘Now isn’t the right time to keep our heads high.’

‘Dad, today I suffered the biggest insult in my life,’ Hong Shi Chi said.

‘Shi Chi, you know we can’t afford to offend Feng Jia Young,’ Hong Tian Fang said.

‘Dad, we don’t need to be scared of Feng’s company,’ Hong Shi Chi said.
