Da Tian Ting and Feng Kai Ze sat in the car. He wanted to comfort her before he drove them home.

‘Tian Ting, are you OK?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘Little monkey, do you think I was too harsh toward my elders?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘You only scolded and hit someone who deserved a scolding,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘It was the two nutty women who insulted you unprovoked.’

‘You’re right,’ Da Tian Ting said.

It was the first time Da Tian Ting saw Lam Shu Pan trashed talked Ning Kan.

Da Tian Ting hated Shang Duan Hua and Da Ming Sheng, but she didn’t want to see Shang Duan Hua mistreat Da Ming Sheng.

Feng Kai Ze hugged Da Tian Ting said.

‘No matter if I’m an ice mountain or a hot spring, my heart will always love you,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘You’re nauseously cheesy,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Feng Kai Ze kissed Da Tian Ting’s cheek.

‘I’m nauseously cheesy happy,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Are you really happy?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘I’m happiest when I’m with you,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Your cheesiness is making me puke,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Da Tian Ting felt a two way street kind of love was a thousand times better than a one sided love. She was blessed to have Feng Kai Ze in her life.

‘You’ll need to get used to puking because my kind of love is nauseously cheesy,’ Feng Kai Ze said. He pointed to his cheek. ‘Give me a kiss.’

Da Tian Ting kissed Feng Kai Ze’s cheek lightly. He held her face, and kissed her lips.

‘This is happiness,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Feng Kai Ze let go of Da Tian Ting’s face, and she gently rubbed her lips. If being with him made her happy, she wanted them to always be together.

‘Love, where do you want to go?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘I’m hungry,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Let’s go eat…’

The Shang family obliviously had a shouting match near Feng Kai Ze’s car, and their loud voices interrupted Da Tian Ting and Feng Kai Ze’s conversation.

‘Shang Duan Hua, look at the consequences of your childish behavior!’ Shang Ming said. ‘Do you understand you’ve destroyed our family?’

Lam Shu Pan stood in between Shang Ming and Shang Duan Hua, and she shoved Shang Ming’s chest.

‘Shut up!’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘Duan Hua didn’t do anything wrong.’

‘This is what happens when you coddle your son,’ Shang Ming said.

‘Don’t take your anger out on Duan Hua,’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘Duan Hua is innocent. You’re angry because you didn’t get to ask Tian Ting to help Shang’s company.’

‘Lam Shu Pan, if your son didn’t betray Tian Ting then we wouldn’t be in this situation,’ Shang Ming said.

‘If I was a man I would hate a country bumpkin like Tian Ting too,’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘What man would choose an ugly duckling like Tian Ting over a beautiful woman?’

Da Tian Ting’s heart hurt to find out Lam Shu Pan who she thought cared about her like a daughter had hated her because she wasn’t beautiful in the past.

Feng Kai Ze held Da Tian Ting’s hand.

‘Tian Ting, in my eyes you’re beautiful in the past and right now too,’ Feng Kai Ze whispered in Da Tian Ting’s ear.

Da Tian Ting heard Feng Kai Ze’s heartfelt words stomped Lam Shu Pan’s hurtful words.

‘Lam Shu Pan, open your eyes,’ Shang Ming said. ‘Can you say Tian Ting looks like an ugly duckling today?’

‘Tian Ting is beautiful now,’ Lam Shu Pan said. ‘Can you say Tian Ting looked beautiful before the wedding? If Tian Ting loved Duan Hua, she would have dressed up for Duan Hua and Duan Hua wouldn’t leave her for Da Ming Sheng. Today our family is in this mess because Tian Ting didn’t make the effort to look beautiful for Duan Hua.’

‘Mum’s right,’ Shang Duan said. ‘It’s because Tian Ting hated me that’s why she didn’t want me to see her beauty. She wanted me to hate her so I would leave her for another woman. She’s a manipulative woman.’

Da Tian Ting heard enough. She got out of the car, strode to the Shang family and Feng Kai Ze followed her to support her.

‘Shang Duan Hua, you MF!’ Da Tian Ting cursed.

The Shang family were embarrassed they were caught bad mouthing Da Tian Ting.

Lam Shu Pan wouldn’t have insulted Da Tian Ting had she known Da Tian Ting could hear her.

Shang Ming accepted there was no hope left for Da Tian Ting to help save Shang’s company.

Shang Duan Hua was shocked Da Tian Ting’s boyfriend owned a car that was worth millions. Who was Da Tian Ting’s boyfriend?

‘Tian Ting, calm down,’ Shang Ming said. ‘We didn’t mean what we said before.’

‘Uncle Shang, now I know how you and aunty Lam really feel about me all these years,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Thinking about Da Tian Ting how much she loved and sacrificed for the deceitful Shang family made her angry.

‘No…’ Shang Ming said.

Shang Duan Hua smiled slyly at Feng Kai Ze.

Feng Kai Ze wrapped an arm around Da Tian Ting’s waist.

‘It’s me who did everything to entice Tian Ting to be my girlfriend,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Shang Duan Hua, it was your betrayal that triggered Tian Ting’s change,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘It made Tian Ting realised you took her love for granted. I want to thank you for leaving Tian Ting for Da Ming Sheng, because it gave me an opportunity to be with Tian Ting.’

‘I don’t believe you would love an old maid,’ Shang Duan Hua said.

‘Of course I don’t love an old maid,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I loved Tian Ting since she was a little girl. It took me more than ten years to find Tian Ting again. The heavens blessed me. On the day I returned home from England, I was reunited with Tian Ting. It was the same day you broke up with Tian Ting.
