Da Tian Ting and Feng Kai Ze walked into the chaotic living room. Her uncle’s family and the Shang family had nothing to do with her. But she and Feng Kai Ze were living a happy life together so she didn’t enjoy seeing them fighting with each other.

Ning Kan comforted Da Ming Sheng who was crying crocodile tears.

‘Da Tian Ting, look what you’ve done!’ Ning Kan said. ‘It’s all your fault our families are fighting. Did you come back here to gloat?’

‘Aunt, I only came here to wish uncle a happy birthday,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘In the past I’m the only person who remembered uncle’s birthday. I didn’t expect Ming Sheng and everyone to be here. If I knew then I wouldn’t have come here today.’

Da Tian Ting’s uncle’s family and the Shang family fighting had nothing to do with her. She wasn’t going to let Ning Kan or anyone else frame her for something she had no control over.

‘Da Tian Ting, if you didn’t come here, everyone would be happy,’ Ning Kan said.

‘I’m happy to leave,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I won’t come back here again. Everyone’s problems has nothing to do with me.’

Da Tian Ting grabbed the big box from Feng Kai Ze’s hands and she put it in Da Qing Feng’s hands.

‘Uncle, this is the last birthday gift you’ll receive from me,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Uncle, take good care of yourself.’

‘Tian Ting, don’t lea…’ Da Qing Feng said.

Da Qing Feng wanted Da Tian Ting to stay, but he didn’t want Da Ming Sheng to cry a river of tears if Da Tian Ting stayed.

‘Uncle, I understand,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘I’m an outsider. In the future everyone’s business is none of my business.’

‘Tian Ting, let’s go home,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘We shouldn’t let their stupidity contaminate us.’

Feng Kai Ze was angry at everyone for blaming Da Tian Ting for their problems. He wasn’t going to stand idly and let them hurt Da Tian Ting.

‘Who do you think you are?’ Shang Duan Hua asked Feng Kai Ze. ‘You have no right to open your mouth here.’

Da Tian Ting slapped Shang Duan Hua’s cheek. She wasn’t going to let Shang Duan Hua insult Feng Kai Ze.

Da Ming Sheng was too shocked to cry.

‘Shang Duan Hua, it’s you who doesn’t have the right to open your mouth here,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Your betrayal is the root cause for your family’s problems. If you want to be angry, be angry at yourself.’

‘How can you hit me because of this man?’ Shang Duan Hua asked.

Shang Duan Hua hated Feng Kai Ze for taking Da Tian Ting away from him.

‘In my eyes you’re the bad man,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘You had an affair with your fiance’s cousin for ten years. Regardless of what Da Ming Sheng did wrong, you married her, you’re her husband, it’s your duty to take care of Da Ming Sheng. You need to take responsibility for your choices. You chose to leave me. You don’t have the right to blame me for your marital problems. Before you married her, you boasted what a good woman she is and you said I’m not worth a dollar. Now that you know the truth, you have to live with the consequences. Shang Dua Hua, a dollar man like you can never call yourself a good man.’

Da Ming Sheng didn’t know why Da Tian Ting helped her to keep Shang Duan Hua.

Shang Duan Hua wasn’t going to accept taking responsibility for the wrong choice he made. It was Da Ming Sheng’s fault for deceiving him, and Feng Kai Ze’s fault for taking Da Tian Ting away from him.

‘Da Tian Ting, I don’t believe you can be with me for ten years and not have any feelings left for me,’ Shang Duan Hua said.

‘You’re wrong,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘We weren’t with each other for ten years. We were acquainted with each other for ten years. I treated you like a fiance, but you mistreated me for ten years. You’re nothing to me. Right now the only man in my heart is my future husband.’

Da Tian Ting held Feng Kai Ze’s hand.

‘I don’t believe you,’ Shang Duan Hua said.

‘I don’t care if you don’t believe me because you’re nothing to me,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Shang Duan Hua, open your eyes. You’re another woman’s husband, your wife is standing next to you. You should consider your wife’s feelings before you open your mouth. You’re an embarrassment if you don’t know how to protect your wife.’

‘You!’ Shang Duan Hua said.

Shang Duan Hua felt nothing seeing Da Ming Sheng’s tears. He wasn’t going to accept Da Tian Ting loved Feng Kai Ze.

‘Little monkey, let’s go home,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘Tian Ting, you can’t leave,’ Lam Shu Pan said.

‘Aunty, why can’t I leave?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

‘I…’ Lam Shu Pan said.

After Ning Kan and Da Ming Sheng insulted Da Tian Ting, Lam Shu Pan didn’t know what to say to ask Da Tian Ting to help save Shang’s company.

‘Aunty, your family’s problems has nothing to do with me,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘Little monkey, let’s go home.’

Feng Kai Ze held Da Tian Ting’s hand. They walked together to the car. He didn’t forget to turn around to show his happy smile to Shang Duan Hua.

Shang Duan Hua hated Feng Kai Ze. Shang Duan Hua knocked over everything on the coffee table including the teapot he bought for Da Qing Feng that Da Ming Sheng displayed at the centre of the coffee table.

Da Qing Feng saw the broken teapot, and he understood Shang Duan Hua regretted marrying Da Ming Sheng.

‘You made your choice,’ Da Qing Feng said. ‘Live with it.’

Da Qing Feng carried the big box Da Tian Ting gave him to his bedroom.

Shan Duan Hua’s temper made Da Ming Sheng fearful of what he would do to her at home.

‘How can you break the teapot you bought your father-in-law?’ Ning Kan asked.

‘Mum, don’t say anything,’ Da Ming Sheng said.

‘Fine,’ Ning Kan said. ‘Ming Sheng, go back to your bedroom. Tonight don’t go home with the garbage Shang family.’

‘Mum…’ Da Ming Sheng said.

‘Go to your bedroom!’ Ning Kan said.

Da Ming Sheng listened to Ning Kan, and walked to her bedroom.

‘Shang Duan Hua, come outside with me right now,’ Shang Ming said.

Shang Ming dragged Shang Duan Hua outside Da Qing Feng’s home. Lam Shu Pan didn’t care where Da Ming Sheng stayed, she followed Shang Ming and Shang Duan Hua outside.
