The Evolving Stealth System Chapter 77: Felton Wind Catalyst

Duncan laughed when she turned around as Wormy's touching of her backside made sense. There was a small, little red object right below her butt.

Touching it, the lady in front of him seemed to swell with happiness, and this made Duncan even more confused.

"I don't think I will ever understand the netherworlds."

"You don't need to understand. I merely have to measure if you are a prime candidate or a lesser candidate…"

"I'm guessing it be better to be a prime candidate?" Duncan's rhetorical question brought about the ladies bewitching smile. As she looked back, she winked at him, and that red button started glowing brighter and brighter.

Rather than being surprised by her glowing butt, Duncan kept staring at it. If this was a test of will, he'd rather not fail due to embarrassment.

As for the lady, she felt rather shocked that he was a prime candidate. She never expected a mere ogre, one of the lesser races, to possess such a powerful bloodline.

"You are exactly what my master was looking for, and I wouldn't mind you removing your hand…"

"Sorry… Never saw a button on a girl before. What exactly did your master do to you?" Duncan couldn't help but ask because she had countless marks on her body.

A second ago, he guessed a stone spell had been removed from her flesh. Stone spells allowed for one person to be preserved until someone awoke them. It also meant she looked exactly the same since she had gone to sleep, and Duncan spotted countless abrasions that seemed self-inflicted.

The Netherworlds had customs that were like human traditions, and also not like humans. For instance, some of their techniques required blood and other nefarious means! However, after removing his hand from the red button, he didn't have time to keep dwelling on it.

"PLEASE TAKE ME WITH YOU!"

"What?" Duncan fell back and landed on the red tiled floor. "You are in charge, aren't you?"

"Uh hum. You are right… Sorry for getting ahead of you. Let me take you to where you belong?"

"Alright, does that mean that I am now a primary candidate?" Duncan recalled Mona and Phoenix from the corner. Phoenix's hand looked red, and he guessed Mona had admonished his actions.

"Yes, you are now a primary candidate. In fact, you are above the primary candidate, and are the ultimate candidate. You may go straight to the final room!"

Waving her hand, the statue caused the floor to crack and branch out. Wormy ran forward escaping Mona's attacks as Duncan thanked her.

However, he turned back, as she returned to her previous position. "If you want, I can really take me with you…"

The statue blushed, looking at the extremely ugly ogre, and laughed as the stone spell was reactivated.

She turned to stone instantly before Duncan proceeded directly to the twenty third room.

He sent Alberta and Bernie up ahead to go check for traps, and luckily nothing nearly exploded besides Wormy. He dropped to the floor as Mona angrily stomped on him.

"Master… I am only giving him what he deserves." Mona said with a smile.

"He only touched a button, Mona. It wasn't her butt…"

"Master, please let me hit him a few more times anyway?"

Duncan sighed as Wormy screamed, "No master! No master!" He patted her on the shoulder before nodding his head and saying "no" at the same time.

Of course, he quite enjoyed seeing them beat each other up, and enjoyed seeing a platinum chest even more.

Whatever this treasure was, the Earthen Moss Dungeon had been much easier than he expected.

However, of course, as he approached, he made sure to check for traps. As someone whose entire existence determined the fate of the universe, dying in a trap would not be good.

Hearing a click, he took out a mine hidden underneath the steps.

[Ding! Hosts mine sweeping skill has leveled up to level 1]

"Oh, I thought that name must have been a mistake." Duncan put the mine inside of his storage, and finally walked up to the chest. Mona joined him with a smile on her face as Wormy wobbled over towards them.

"Master, I think I am in love!"

Duncan smiled as Mona stuck out her tongue.

Alright, well, then as the man in the relationship would you like to open this chest?"

"Does being a man require opening treasure chests?" Wormy felt an honor swell up in his heart.

"Yes, and the chest might explode…"

"Master, your lessons are profound!" Wormy smiled and unclicked the chest. As for Mona, and Duncan they walked backwards letting the risk unfold.

As for Alberta and Bernie, they guarded the doorway as Phoenix bravely opened the chest. To Duncan's surprise, only a puff of smoke exited the chest.

[Ding! Wormy is currently getting baptized by an extremely rare gene catalyst known as the Felton Wind Cataylst…]

"Are you kidding me! All the other parts of this dungeon were traps!"

Duncan jumped into the cloud as Phoenix started to grow bigger and bigger.
