"Fine..." Duncan had been under other people's orders much of his life, so he ran towards the arrow for roughly an hour.

After following the arrow for an hour, Duncan only saw the plains of fire beneath his feet.

"System.... how far to the center of the Monte Verne islands?"

[Ding! Host is currently 1025 miles away from the center of the Monte Verne islands.... If host keeps running at his current speed of 40 miles an hour for approximately 26 hours, host will reach chosen destination....]

"Hmph, show me the prompt!" He wanted to see what it was first before he went on death mission in these forsaken plains.

"Yes..." He was still running towards the arrow before the arrow changed direction, and he began wondering if his life always secretly had an arrow.

As a transcendent he was a spy, and infiltrated the devil crown warehouse, which is where he found the blueprints to summon and program this divine device during reincarnation... Yes, it was a system, and they indeed made him sacrifice his life to test if the blueprint worked... Unfortunately, so far it seemed like all it did was make you follow an arrow he'd seen in video games.

"System... please tell me that battlefield up ahead is the destination!"

On one side their was the Frost Bone Soldiers, and on the other the Magma Fist Skeletons... Then there was one dumb looking skeleton screaming and running away from both of them.

Duncan couldn't seriously be tasked with saving that idiot, right?

However, he was, and he actually felt fearless without the skin on his body!

He made it to the center of the fiery battle field no where near the center of Monte Vernon islands and began swinging his bones and attempting to level up!

Duncan began realizing something interesting about these skeletons as he stood in the midst of the bones.... He seemed to be the only one with intelligence, and it was the perfect time to engage in friendly fire!

For some reason, the frost bone skeletons wouldn't attack him.... These primitive creatures needed to win in a certain amount of battle fields, and then they'd begin to grow smarter, faster, and perhaps remember these acts of shamelessness...

However, for now! He felt like that one asshole in a game, who helped the other team win!

There was nothing like helping out your enemies win a battle, and at this time the phoenix bone soldier seemed to be outpacing his pursuers, so he just kept bashing his fellow frost race members to death....

He even increased his power level to 95 / 450, which kept him shamelessly and inconspicuously destroying the frost bone soldiers chances of winning this battle today!

[Ding! Host has reached level 4... However, it is recommended host stop killing allies.... There is always one commander in the netherworlds assigned to each low battle field...]

The system warned Duncan, but he didn't hear him... Sure enough, there was a devil commander not to far away wondering if his eyes were playing tricks on him. Actually, he was pretty sure one of the skeletons was programmed wrong and he had to go terminate it...

However, he paused for a second to try and laugh as that unlucky phoenix bone skeleton ran around the field with 40 health remaining.
